• DAVI RODRIGO (9/5): Ótima opção na região do porto de Shekou - Hotel localizado no porto de Shekou, excelente para quem vai fazer a travessia para o HKIA. No complexo tem restaurantes, conveniência, etc. Quarto amplo, bem equipado e com camas excelentes. Atendente falava somente o idioma local.
• Cesar Juvencio (1/5): Either false advertising or poor practices - Don't be misled by my rate. This is a nice hotel. It sits just in at the Shekou Ferry Terminal. It has modern features with smart controls, and the overall room experience feels nice. The breakfast is also fantastic, although it’s not included with the base rate. It gave me the impression that they advertise the rooms at a lower price, confirm the stay, but when you arrive there, they don’t honor that price. The sequence of events feels suspicious: 1 - I arrived there around 9 am, and they affirmed that they couldn’t find my booking on their system, despite it being confirmed and me giving them my booking number. 2 - I asked for the price for 2 NIGHTS, including 2 BREAKFASTS in Mandarin. My Mandarin was not perfect, but it was understandable. I asked the front desk twice to confirm that the price they gave me was for 2 nights with breakfast included, and he said yes. For this reason, I accepted the offer and stayed despite the higher price. I considered the price reasonable because during my last stays in China, I had stayed in similar hotels for the same length at a similar price, so nothing indicated the price was "too good to be true". 3 - The next day, when I was out there exploring on my last day, I received a call from them saying that I was supposed to have checked out already, asking me if I wanted to stay the night. Then I told them that it was impossible because I had booked for 2 nights. They insisted the reservation was for just one night. So I had to interrupt my itinerary and go back there (far from the city centre to solve the issue). 4 - During my return journey, I received a notification from Booking.com saying that the hotel had just cancelled my booking with "NO SHOW" as the reason for cancelling it. This is the most suspicious thing. If they didn't have my reservation on their system, how were they able to cancel it a day later? And why did they use "NO SHOW" as the reason, when I clearly showed up and stayed the night before? 5 - When I arrived at the hotel, a different staff member told me there was a system error with Booking.com, and that they had let me know in advance about the price discrepancy. However, that's not true.
• Richard (7/5): Clean, adequate, convenient. - Convenient. Check in bags for Hong Kong flights and take a ferry directly to Hong Kong airport. 5 minute walk to a massive shopping mall. Quality restaurants nearby. Pleasant seaside walks. Desk staff were sullen with no English and indifferent to customers at best. They all seemed to be less than 25 years old. Older maids were much more pleasant.

• Thomas (8/5): - L'emplacement est très pratique, dans le bâtiment du terminal de ferry de Shekou, idéal en arrivant de Hong Kong. Plusieurs restaurants dans la zone commerciale également. Chambre confortable, pas de bruit la nuit, petit déjeuner bien. Petit souci pour trouver ma réservation en arrivant, un peu de temps pour résoudre ça, la barrière de la langue n'aide pas mais on s'en sort toujours et le personnel est patient donc tout finit bien.

• Elio (4/5): Disappointing - Everything is new and looks good. It's in Shekou port. My room had an indoor facing window which couldn't be fully closed, so I could easily hear other guests talking. Water from rooms upstairs flowed through a pipe inside the room which was very loud. The key card reader wasn't working in one of the elevators which caused some hassle. The breakfast food was very simple and disappointing.
