- Mbali (9/5): We loved our stay , our host was very happy to help and ensure we were comfortable. - The kids loved the facilities and surroundings, lots for them to do and explore .
- Alexandra (9/5): - Gorgeous architectural, sustainable design bungalow with main room, living area, wrap around balcony and loft bedroom. Full sized fridge, pots and pans, has cooker, oven and BBQ. Plan ahead and bring food to cook otherwise its a bit of a trip to the shops, which is also what makes this place so great.
Felt like lux camping without the tent, nestled in the bush. Plenty of space between cottages so it felt very private. Loved the communal main cottage with coffee machine, mineral pool, table tennis and pool room. Hosts were lovely and responsive while also giving everyone space. The property has short bushwalks, an orchard and chooks (save your scraps for them and collect eggs for breakfast!).
Loved the spa bath with bush views but consider tank and bore water usage.
Shout out to the choice of Egg Picnic artwork, what a delight! Nothing not to like but to help those thinking of staying be prepared for the Australian bush environment. Tank water is completely drinkable but expect some colouration. Screens on all the doors and windows but plan for mozzies and bugs if you are outside/BBQing. Be considered in your choice of spray and sunscreen as the chemicals can affect the mineral swimming pool. Ladder to the loft is steep so consider kids or your own mobility.

- Catherine (9/5): Beautiful luxury cabin in a secluded bush setting. - The cottages are gorgeous, big and spacious with a wonderful vibe. Loved the big deck with a bbq. They are well spaced so you have total privacy and can’t hear or see your neighbours.
Lots of spots to relax: say bed and a hammock. Kids loved the spa in the bathroom with the bath products.
Pool was perfect and the kids loved being able to visit the chickens and collect eggs. A highlight was seeing a python and a large goanna.
I loved morning runs down to the lake. Hosts were lovely. Nothing!
- Elaine (10/5): Thank you for the hospitality and friendly welcoming we received . - Location and surroundings were beautiful .
Staff so friendly and welcoming .
Gorgeous grounds with open garden veggies and herbs was a nice surprise.
Open reception area with fresh coffee daily was an added bonus and great coffee too .
We enjoyed our stay and will return to these beautiful grounds 😊. Nothing .
- Fitzgerald (10/5): Amazing and much needed dose of nature not too far from the city - It was an amazing location and wonderful hosts Loved everything
- Michelle (6/5): Prob not for us as a family but not to say others wouldn’t like it. - I liked the water and koala eco products. Nice ambiance - I like the openness and wood design. Bugs inside - spiders, dragon flies, lots of small flies - kids wouldn’t sleep upstairs. Bugs all over them. Notice fly screens need repairs. No wifi and bad internet, tv small - only one. We’d just stayed at a place that had everything so adjusting to no dishwasher and washing machine was a challenge. Kitchen - no bench space.
- Jacqueline (10/5): Lovely family who own a stunning property. The facilities are wonderful, clean & unique. The location is private but - Beautiful location in the middle of the bush, it felt secluded but close enough to the local town to pick up supplies. The cottages were stunning! So relaxing. Just be prepared for the Australian wildlife. Due to the rain & humidity we had lots of mozzies and we did have an encounter with a snake. All manageable if you are aware & prepared. The location & cabins made this all worth it.
- Miss (7/5): Good for short break - Cottage style Road in the resort and mosquitoes
- Waisiki (10/5): Exceptional -

- Taylah (9/5): Superb -
- Ingrid (9/5): Superb - Wonderful quiet location with lots of wildlife. The hosts, Lauren and Clint, were very helpful. We will definitely be back in the near future.
- Stacey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aleesha (10/5): Absolutely paradise - Absolutely everything. The fabulous hospitality and greeting from Lauren made you feel at home instantly. The cottage was absolutely stunning, and everything was thought of. We saw some beautiful wildlife and spent some time in the orchard, cabana and visiting the chickens.
It's not far from Bulahdelah town and a very quiet spot to stay. The highlight would have to be our wonderful greeting as well as the inside fireplace. The spa was delightful with a full opening window to truly embrace the elements.
We loved it so much that we have booked another stay next year and have agreed it will be a place we strive to stay every year.
The eco cottages felt cosy yet spacious and like it was part of its surroundings. I could honestly live here. It's just a blissful paradise ✨️
A summary is eco cottages, native flora and fauna, exceptional hosts, amazing eco-friendly and functioning systems, spa, possums, chickens, orchard, bay window, and natural lighting. Perfection.
- Elaine (10/5): Lovely long weekend getaway - Loved the place, cottage was spacious and beautifully presented. clean and the common areas were also perfect for families. There are planty of things to do and so close to some of the best beaches and hikes. Would have been perfect with a dishwasher
- Belinda (10/5): Beautiful resort immersed in bushland, with everything you could want for a great holiday! - This is such a beautiful spot. Everything you could want for a relaxing and engaging holiday . The resort has thought of everything and from the moment you arrive you feel welcomed by the lovely hosts and surrounded by beauty. The cottages are generous in size and contain all the things you need for a comfortable stay, as is the common area and games room. This property has been designed and built with great attention to detail, respect for the environment and with the holidaymakers needs all in mind and it achieves this all .
We travelled with our 3 boys- 16,13 & 11 and we all enjoyed our time ( 7 days). There are ample walks on the property to immerse yourself in the beautiful bushland, a pool to swim in, pool table and ping pong table to use at anytime, dvds to borrow, a great sense of space , chickens to feed, eggs to collect.
When you want to leave the property there is a short drive to Myall lakes area for fishing and walking, and a medium drive to fantastic surf beaches.
We travelled during peak holiday period and although the resort was fully booked it was still quiet and relaxing as it is so well designed there is plenty of room for everyone!
This is a unique property and you will want to return.
