• Mika (3/5): - Location Customer service impossible to connect to. Got locked out because the accomodation provided the wrong PIN number and couldn’t get in touch with anyone for an hour. Finally got in touch with someone over the phone after and got told landlord was not even in the area and we had to call a locksmith. Mind you this was Easter Sunday, no one was open and nearby. Waited for 2 hours outside in the cold with no real solutions and only was able to get back in because neighbours were lovely and there was a connecting door. Have received no contact from the accomodation. How can you have people staying in the accomodation and not have ANY support. Ridiculous.
• Voicu (1/5): The service is a disgrace, who put our lives at risk of serious infections or even loss of life. - Nothing. Everything: unfunctional TV, dirty towel in the bathroom left with signs of blood or something worse, the kitchen with dirty and unfunctional stove, dirty rangehood, it was impossible to cook, difficult to claim in the spa to take a shower, poor bathroom lighting, no toilet paper, no heating, dirt everywhere, the window fell on the bedroom floor (20 kgs), a bad odor blanket.

• Sandra (7/5): Super location. Would not stay again due to possibility of better properties in surrounding area. In this case location - The location is great. So close to main areas of Leura. Bed was comfortable. It had a great vibe, mostly. Lack of simple fly screens meant windows and doors had to be closed at all times. Due to many mosquitoes. It is a simple fix. It should be mentioned clearly, not just in reviews, that the bathroom/shower area is so open. It would not be difficult to provide a simple screen/privacy option. (This relates to unit 2). We lost access to the TV on our 4th night of a 5 night stay. It did not work at all. This was very disappointing. The toilet seat is so misaligned the lid did not stay up. Very inconvenient.
• Peter (9/5): Excellent stay - I enjoyed my 4-night stay at Leura's Magical Manderley. Decent location just off the high street and only a few minutes walk to the train station. Good electronic communication with property manager. It’s an older style property, but well furnished and clean. Living room was very comfortable and the spa bath was great. I didn’t cook much other than simple breakfast stuff but there was enough equipment to make a proper meal, and a handy supply of basics like tea, coffee, milk, oil, seasonings etc. A coffee machine would have been a very welcome addition.
• Felicity (8/5): Fun and relaxing. - Everything was good. The location is excellent and the entry access process was easy, the place was generous, comfortable, attractive and tidy. Just a note though, the bed in the back room of unit 1 is very creaky! Every time you rolled over it created noise. It was comfortable though.
• Susanne (2/5): - Das Haus und der Garten sahen von außen sehr einladend aus . Es hat eine super Lage , sehr zentral. Es war leider sehr schmutzig,man hatte das Gefühl das das Bad (WC) seid Jahren nicht richtig sauber gemacht wurde . Der Boden, die Ecken total verdreckt . 1 cm hoch Staub auf dem Spiegel. Auch sonst sehr staubig . Lediglich die Betten waren frisch bezogen. Das Appartement ist eher ein Studio . Alles in einem Raum ,dass hat mir persönlich nicht gefallen. Ich würde dort auf alle Fälle nicht mehr buchen !!!

• Stella (7/5): A very pleasant stay in a lovely location. - Good location, easy parking and hosts responded very quickly to any request. The bed was very comfortable and sitting g area was very pleasant. The shower worked well and there was a plentiful supply of hot water. The bathroom was a little tired and in need of an upgrade the hot plate electric control was somewhat temperamental.
• Steven (9/5): It definitely is magical - The room is spacious and comfortable. The spa is heavenly after long days of long walks around the Blue mountains. Staff were extremely nice. Some fly screens would be nice to be able to let more fresh air in without insects coming in
• Yanyu (1/5): Best stay yet no appreciation or looking properly into the core of the bond issue fairly. - The location was awesome best I ever felt to be so close to everything. The spa bath was heavenly and the whole place is very comforting and warm. Kitchen was great no oven but air fryer which is better. Very cute little getaway from home. Mirror in the bedroom gave it a creepy vibe and the fact that it's just up high and you can't see yourself makes it seem like why is it even there. Should be a painting instead even if you jump on the bed you can't see yourself. I felt like mirror in front of a bed is not good which me and my wife had some uneasy dreams and aura. Their bed setup was old and dusty but the comforter hasn't even changed in a while but they took our bond for staining that was there for a long time but we copped it and paid the bill due to wet hair which my wife fell asleep with a towel over her head and they blamed us saying the doona was stained and wet. Took our bond without a receipt of purchase to 'buy' new bed linen based on a wet area. Blamed us for black stains when we only stayed a night. I'm sure you don't even have black stains and yellow stains even months without wash. They blamed us on a night stay, it's like Booking.com and the property said no, this is our decision, took the money and left us a call customer service type good bye. We now approach a fair trading moment. Its not the money, it's the principle which a hotel would never do. They act like we broke the tv which we never even used, stole items and damaged property that's worth 300 but not a doona they probably brought from Kmart and replaced it with Sheridan. That's not a good moment of trust. Anyhow for any future clients, be cautious of this property. Even in the morning we cleaned up before check out taking consideration for the cleaner yet we did not expect this at all although the place was nice itself. Please be aware and take note.

• Deborah (6/5): Great location, nice setting. Close to restaurants - More care taken with cleaning the apartment. I couldn't actually carry my suit case, gravel driveway, stairs. Almost 70, and a bad hip. Had to choose my clothes etc and carry to apartment

Upon arrival our heater wasn't working, we had to wait till the next day for another heater to be supplied. Our TV remote had the volume button missing & the battery lid was missing .

• Jennifer (5/5): Very disappointing. - It’s location was excellent The gas log fire was non existent and the tiny heater took hours to heat up the room - it was only 8 degrees and pouring rain in Leura the days we were there. The tv didn’t work and we were unable to contact anyone to help.

• Kendall (7/5): A great location and comfortable with a few things required to make it better - It was a nice location and close to the Leura shops and very peaceful and as in winter nice and warm with the gas fireplace in the main living area The bathroom while nice needs a good clean with a lot of dust and cobwebs. The shower tiles need some extra cleaning as had mould in the grout. The bedroom also had cobwebs on the walls. One of the windows in the living area has water damage and a gap so the draft was coming in. There was a repair to a wall in the bedroom that hadnt been painted which detracted how nice it could have been.

Didn’t like the lack of television viewing; no aerial connection available and the contact for advice, Robyn - past owner and creator of the Magical Manderlay had sold the property some year or so ago and was confused by my phone call — using the two supplied (at the stay) phone numbers of Robyn.

• Denise (9/5): A cosy couple's hideaway in Leura - I booked this shortly before our 2 night stay on the Easter weekend, so was glad to find something available, but was a little concerned about some of the recent reviews since the new ownership of this property. However, we were pleasantly surprised in every respect. We had the downstairs flat, which is tucked away around the side of a lovely renovated old property with a Tuscan feel. There are a few car spaces on the property and even though the upstairs apartment and main front house section were occupied, we didn't notice much noise at all. The room is charming, the bed comfortable and although the spa bath/combined shower is open to the room, the toilet is closed off and the whole vibe is very cosy and self-contained for a couple. The room was clean and the little kitchenette had everything we needed to make breakfast - even an electric egg poacher. Cereal was supplied as well as tea and coffee supplies and there is a supermarket just up the road. There is an eclectic selection of DVDs and books and the spa bath was a relaxing addition. The location is fantastic, just an easy stroll up the road into the main street of Leura, so you don't have to worry about finding parking and a 30 minute walk in the other direction gets you to the wonderful Elysian Rock lookout and onto the Prince Henry Cliff Walk. We had a lovely weekend and would definitely return again. The contactless checking in and door code is very convenient but you do have to give a lot of personal details, and send photos of your ID etc, which made me a little uncomfortable, but the property manager assured me that my details would not be stored.

Very comfortable. - Nice central location but private and quiet. -Last minute final checkin forms that needed to be completed on arrival ( in the car) as they hadn’t been sent to me until I called to find out how to access the apartment. -the tv didn’t work for free to air stations. It tried to do it but constantly dropped in and out. We didn’t try Netflix etc. We watched one of the dvd movies provided.
• Gary (8/5): Great location - Close to town. Quiet location. There was an issue with the cleanliness of the apartment on arrival . The manager said they had a random cleaner do the clean & unfortunately they didn't check the room before we checked in. The staff did follow up personally & with phone calls to ask if we would like anything cleaned, so it was appreciated that they offered to attend to anything. I only mention it here in case it turned into an ongoing issue.
• Tracy (5/5): Passable - Good location The unit wasn't that clean and dirty dishes in the cupboard. The TV had no signal so we spoke to someone through booking.com but it wasn't resolved.
• Leonie (8/5): Sang in the bathtub until my angst showed up then I made sure I got good and cosy. - The fire and spa bath and the bed was also nice The carpet needed cleaning and it would have been good to have tea towels
