• fernando (8/5): - Tenia todo lo justo y necesario. Se podia cocinar sin problemas. A pesar de estar lejos del centro, estaba en pleno atractivo turistico (mirador atardecer). Tenia animalitos. Y la administradora un 10 Las cucarachas. Mucha humedad en el baño (y filtracion). Un poco retirado del centro (25 min caminando). No incluye desayuno. Si bien es encantador estar rodeado de animales, que los gallos griten tan temprano puede entorpecer el sueño

• Guest (6/5): Está bien pero puede mejorar! - El alojamiento se encuentra dentro de la categoría estándar en relación precio-calidad para la Isla de Pascua. Si bien existen opciones más caras, este mantiene una coherencia razonable con el valor ofrecido. Se trata de un monoambiente con cocina equipada, ubicado en el mismo terreno que la casa de los propietarios. El departamento es funcional, aunque la cocina resulta un poco reducida. Cuenta con cama, baño y un pequeño patio. No obstante, presenta algunos aspectos que deberían mejorarse: El baño tenía pérdidas de agua, por lo que permanecía mojado constantemente, sobre todo al bañarse. La cocina, aunque equipada, es demasiado pequeña; el mobiliario es muy antiguo y presenta un fuerte olor a humedad, difícil de tolerar incluso para quienes están acostumbrados a climas húmedos. No proveen papel higiénico: entregan solo un rollo de cortesía, lo cual resulta insuficiente para una estadía de una semana sin incluir desayuno ni otros servicios (te dan toallas una sola vez y hay que pedir que te las cambien, considerando la humedad no se secan nunca más). La televisión es extremadamente pequeña, similar a una pantalla de computadora antigua, sin cable, Netflix ni otra plataforma, y los canales no se ven correctamente. El internet es muy malo e inestable. Aunque la isla cuenta con Starlink desde el año pasado, la antena está ubicada de modo que solo los propietarios acceden a buena conexión, mientras que los huéspedes no. A pesar de haberlo señalado el primer día porque era necesario para trabajar, no se brindó solución. La cama es incómoda: el colchón es viejo, se hunde y dificulta el descanso. Pese a estas cuestiones, la ubicación es excelente: está muy cerca del centro de Rapa Nui —que es pequeño—, por lo que se accede fácilmente a todos los servicios. Además, en la esquina se encuentra uno de los atractivos de la isla para ver moáis y disfrutar del atardecer. English version: The accommodation falls within the standard price-quality range for Easter Island. While there are more expensive options, this one offers fair value for what you pay. It is a studio apartment with an equipped kitchen, located on the same property as the owners’ house. The apartment is functional, though the kitchen is rather small. It includes a bed, bathroom, and a small patio. However, there are several aspects that need improvement: The bathroom had water leaks, which kept the floor constantly wet, especially after showering. The kitchen, though equipped, is very small; the furniture is very old and there is a strong smell of humidity, which is hard to tolerate even for those used to humid climates. Toilet paper is not provided beyond a single courtesy roll, which is insufficient for a week-long stay, particularly since breakfast and other services are not included. The TV is extremely small, similar to an old computer monitor, with no cable, Netflix, or streaming options, and the channels do not display properly. The internet connection is very poor and unstable. Although the island has had Starlink since last year, the antenna is positioned so that only the owners have a good connection, while guests do not. Even after pointing this out on the first day —as I needed it for work—, nothing was done. The bed is uncomfortable: the mattress is old, sags in the middle, and makes it difficult to get proper rest. Despite these issues, the location is excellent: it is very close to Rapa Nui’s town center —which is small—, giving easy access to everything. Moreover, right on the corner there is one of the island’s main attractions where you can see moai statues and enjoy the sunset.
• Vincenzo (10/5): Mitico - Great choice if you want to stay near the moai for a long time. Spacious, clean, quiet cabana with a small patio. Well equipped for cooking too. Air conditioning/heating. Twenty minutes walk from the center of Hangaroa. Some Mini-mini markets nearby for small necessities.
• Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful accomodation just 2min walking from the best sunset viewpoint on the island (and the only sunset moai you can access without a guide). Well-equipped kitchen and large refrigerator. Two lovely cats to keep you company on the terrace! Very responsive and friendly hosts who immediately helped us out in case of questions and issues. Would definitely recommend this accomodation as a base for exploring Easter Island!
