• Marco Ricotti (10/5): Viaggio per trentesimo di matrimonio - Abbiamo apprezzato Llla gentilezza e la professionalità di Tomurcuk, che ci ha coccolati appena arrivati, dandoci tutte le informazioni che ci servivano per visitare questa meravigliosa Città. L'hotel è in una zona strategica che ti permette di arrivare sia a piedi che con i mezzi nei posti turistici della città. La colazione self service e abbondante ti permette di assimilare le energie per affrontare la prima parte della giornata. Il posto è molto silenzioso e anche gli ospiti rispettano il silenzio. Solo un consiglio, chi è alto più di 1,60 dovrebbe avvisare per non incorrere nella mansarda, nonostante sia carina è un po' scomoda. Comunque lo consiglio vivamente a chi vuole venire ad Istanbul.

• Klára (3/5): - The pictures they use for different types of rooms are misleading. When we tried to discuss with the staff, that the listing was different for our room, she was incredibly rude. She even threatened to kick us out the hotel and was doing some weird powerplay when I had to apologize (even tho there we did nothing wrong) so they wouldnt kick us out the hotelin the evening. And she was obviously enjoying herself. I have NEVER experienced this type of behaviour. We were eventually moved into a different room, but it ruined the whole trip for us. Also, the floors were screeching a lot, you could hear every step other people in the hotel took. There was also some mold in the corners of the room.
• Алексей (10/5): - Если решили что холмы Стамбула не проблема то это замечательный выбор, все достопримечательности в шаговой доступности, рядом много хороших и не дорогих ресторанов. Так же рядом находиться рыбный рынок с очень классными ценами и огромнейшим выбором рыбы и морских гадов! Всем советую для бюджетного туризма! Были 5 человек и пришлось спать одному на диване, он немного жесковат (по середине) и иногда складывается задняя ножка, что в прочем не было большой проблемой.

• Dexter.Morgan (8/5): Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und eine klare Empfehlung in Istambul. - Wir waren Anfang Mai für unseren Städtetrip in diesem kleinen Boutique-Hotel und haben uns insgesamt sehr wohlgefühlt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die außergewöhnliche Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals – man fühlt sich wirklich willkommen und bekommt tolle Tipps für Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung. Die Altstadt ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen, wenn man gern und problemlos läuft. Unser Zimmer war sauber, gemütlich und für einen Städtetrip absolut ausreichend. Dusche und WC-Waschbecken sind in eine Art Schrank integriert und nur durch sehr dünne Lamellentüren vom restlichen Zimmer getrennt, was man wissen sollte – für uns war es für ein paar Tage aber in Ordnung. Das Hotel hat viel Charme und eine sehr persönliche Atmosphäre, was uns besonders gefallen hat. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die ein charmantes, persönliches Hotel für einen Istanbul-Trip suchen. Beim Frühstück hätten wir uns etwas mehr Auswahl gewünscht, da das kontinentale Angebot recht überschaubar war. Es findet in einem ausgebauten Innenhof statt, der nur durch Markisen überdacht ist – bei kühlerem oder schlechtem Wetter, wie Anfang Mai, kann es dort daher etwas frisch sein. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt war es dennoch in Ordnung.

• Natalia (2/5): Impossible to rest, poor breakfast - The room was clean, and the many beautiful traditional decorative details created a really atmospheric and charming feel. The wooden floors and stairs creak a lot, and the noise is extremely loud. We stayed in a room on the first floor, with the stairs located directly above the room, so every time someone walked to the other rooms, the stairs creaked very loudly. The floors in the other rooms were noisy as well — you could hear almost every step. Many hotels with wooden floors solve this issue by installing thick carpets or renovating the parquet, but unfortunately this hotel did not. Because of the noise, I could not sleep at all from 6 AM until 10 AM. We did not feel comfortable during our stay. The room and dining area were also quite cold. The breakfast was very poor — literally just a few items: some bread, butter, jam, cold milk, cereals, and oranges. That was all. There was also no electricity for a few hours yesterday. I understand that this may not have been the hotel’s fault, but combined with all the other issues, it made the experience even worse. Because of this, we decided to leave after the first night. We tried to explain the situation to the administrator, but she refused to refund the payment for the remaining nights. She told us that we should have read the reviews before booking. There are many hotels in the same price range with much better rooms, breakfast, and treatment of guests. We moved to another hotel just a 10-minute walk away, and the difference was huge — a much quieter room, better breakfast, and a far nicer neighborhood.

• Laurence (4/5): Pour une nuit de passage ok sinon non - l'emplacement et disponibilité du personnel la chambre (bien qu'adaptée au prix), je devais m'abaisser pour aller dans la salle de bain, vraiment trop petit. Le lit à ressort en fer n'était absolument pas confortable. Nous avons également dû acheter des suppléments pour le petit déjeuner.

У номері прохолодно було вночі (кінець квітня), але там є обігрівач та кондиціонер, а також видали додаткову ковдру. Санвузол та душ ніби як в "шафі", дверцята до кінця не закриваються. Сніданок складався з булочки, яблук та мандаринів, хотілось би ще хоча б вівсянки, м'ясної чи сирної нарізки.

Felt safe but I’d exercise caution walking around alone or at night. Blanket on the queen bed was a little small for two, but manageable. We didn’t ask for another, but the hotel staff was very kind so I’m sure they’d be accommodating if it were an issue.
• Adriana (9/5): Cozy little boutique hotel - The hotel is a small family business treated with care. The place is full of Turkish decorations and offers information about places to visit and things to do. The room was small but cozy and most importantly, clean. We were at the top floor so the view was very nice though from a small window. They offer water that you can bring to your room, and they have coffee, tea and a kettle where you can boil water. The location is good, near the sea and more or less close to main transportation types. If you have mobility problems, these type of hotels are not for you. There are lots of quite tall stairs and no lift. The breakfast could be better for the price paid in comparison with other hotels.

Views were pretty meh. Walking to museums worked fine. Breakfast was minimal and served in a cold room. We ended up going to another restaurant to eat.

• MatthewHerbie (7/5): A hotel made for summer - Incredible helpful people at the hotel. Complained about dripping noise, they fixed it. Arranged transport and helped with activities. Made sure we were nice and warm. Hotel was very authentic and well located. This hotel is not ideal for winter times. The water drops were (before they put in towl) quite nosy in the roof. Also the breakfast was outside. We had to wear jackets and beanies whilst eating... Even with heaters it was quite cold. Also you hear everything from the guests above... We can imagine this hotel is great in summer but during winter it's tricky.

• Theodore (7/5): Pretty good. We had fun. - The suite was pretty cool and the a/c worked swimmingly, especially after a long day walking around in 30°C heat. It would've been better if there was breakfast as, since the hotel was at the bottom of the hill, it was such a hassle to hike up so steeply o an empty stomach to get our first meal if the day.

• Ralu (8/5): Un sejur decent, pret bun - Aflata pe o straduta, la 10-15 min pe jos de tramvaiul care te ducea in centru, locatia era aproape de street food si de o alta zona, cu restaurante. Spre tramvai se urca, deci este necesar un minim de conditie fizica. Recomand sa incercati Ari Burek, pe street food. Am stat in cladirea anexa, conditii decente, am dormit bine. Micul dejun extrem de minimalist, dar macar puteai servi o cafea, un fruct, un covrig si oricum, pentru cat am platit, chiar nu puteam avea mai mari pretentii. Recomand cazarea, daca nu aveti mari asteptari. Este un loc decent, la un pret foarte bun. Zona nu este grozava, micul dejun ar putea fi imbogatit, la un pret marit, desigur. Cadita de dus se umplea de apa, ar trebui verificata scurgerea. Noi am avut transfer privat de la si catre aeroport si a fost o decizie buna. Cred ca ne-ar fi fost greu sa gasim locatia.

• Consuela (9/5): Oasi di tranquillità in una zona turistica. - Hotel semplice molto carino e pulito, situato a 1 km circa dal centro storico e gestito meravigliosamente dalla proprietaria molto gentile, disponibile e che parla un italiano pressoché perfetto. Ci ha fornito tutte le indicazioni necessarie per poter visitare la città nel modo migliore. Ci siamo trovati molto bene e quando ritorneremo ad Istanbul alloggeremo di nuovo lì perché ci siamo sentiti a casa.

• Yulia (10/5): Отель сделан с большой любовью. Интересно пожить а таком месте - Отель расположен очень близко от центра и транспорта, но в достаточно тихом месте. Данная локация очень понравилась Не могу сказать, что это недостаток, к этому просто нужно быть готовым. Отель находится в старом доме. Очень аутентичная атмосфера, антикварная мебель. Но по этой причине нет никакой звукоизоляции. Полы скрипят. Ходишь и думаешь, что соседи тебя добрым словом не поминают😀

• Roberta (8/5): - Abbastanza centrale anche se per raggiungere i mezzi bisogna sempre fare un bel tratto in salita, camera piccina ma molto funzionale, bagno perfetto con tutti i confort, un bollitore con acqua purificata sempre a disposizione con The e caffè solubile, personale cordiale et la responsabile sempre a pronta a darci degli ottimi consigli per spostamenti/punti d’interesse da visitare/ ristoranti! Camere poco insonorizzate, tanti rumori provenienti dalle scale in legno cigolanti. Colazione sempre identica, buona per carità, e con alcuni prodotti locali ma avrei gradito un po di variazione, però per il prezzo direi più che accettabile

• Tim Vale (9/5): A great 1 night stay, great location. - Loved my stay, great place in a really old wooden house in the Sultanahmed old city district. With (BDC) Booking dot com blocked 🚫 in Turkey, having to use a FreeVPN App then juggle with the BDC price Algorithms, I only stayed 1 night. . That's all. Apart from brekky, 10/10. It's a real jungle out there navigating on Booking dot com to find the best place in the Sultanahmed area for a great price, the Reviews are so misleading, many are fake. Everything was 10/10 for me, just the Free 'Continental' breakfast, yea tea or coffee, bowl of cereal and few chunks of melon. A few boiled or omelette eggs, cheese, sausages, decent bread, butter, salad would have been ideal. Yea I know there are hundreds of places serving food, majority for tourists at tourists for tourist prices. Bakeries selling Byrek to Turks, not just tourists. But going the extra mile, making guests happier goes a long way, pride over profit to be the best place in Sultanahmed District for budget tourists👌 A badge of honour. 🥇🥈🥉🎗🎖🥇

• Maria (10/5): Lovely stay in the city center - Great location right in the heart of the city. The girl at the reception was super nice and helpful. The room is simple and budget-friendly, but it has everything you need — comfortable beds, a place to cook, and all the necessary kitchenware. The bathroom is newly renovated with great water pressure. It might feel a bit small for three people, but for two it was just perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back! We tried the breakfast once, but it didn’t really seem worth the price, so after that we cooked for ourselves — which was easy and convenient.
