• Rachel (8/5): - The area is absolutely gorgeous. Surrounded by greenery, with turquoise pools and streams all around, an incredible garden, lots of birds... Just beautiful. So quiet too, nestled in the jungle, we slept so well. The location is unfortunate, it's a long, bumpy ride away from anything interesting. Moreover, this was the 6th Booking of our trip, and the first where the price we were given upon arrival was higher than what appeared on our Booking, because of some supposed taxes that don't show up on our bill... And you can only pay cash. Lead to an awfully uncomfortable encounter with the owner, who is evidently not experienced in hospitality.
• Alain (5/5): - L emplacement superbe, chalet superbe piscine, haman, cascades dans un cadre enchanteur Accueil lamentable. L hotel était fermé nous avons attendu 4 heures avant que le manager arrive. Pas aimable du tout Comme précisé sur booking, possibilité de payer par carte .... eh bien non, le terminal ne fonctionnait pas .... et avons du payer cash. Au moment du départ aucun social time. Dommage pour un si bel endroit
• Irina (7/5): It was a pasable experience for one night but if you would like to stay longer or closer to civilazation i would recomme - The property itself was really beautiful buy located in a pretty run down area where you had to travel on a dirt road for about one hour for 20 km It was clear that when we stayed in November the property wasn’t lived in and had a vibe that it was deserted also the grounds of the houses were pretty forsaken and not well kept
• Rodolfo (10/5): Magic silence - Magic silence to summarize in two words. It is a wooden cabin near a waterfall. The noise: the waterfall. This if the sound of waterfall can be called noise. The atmosphere is peaceful and the place is, aside from the beauty, very clean and good bed. They have a sauna too. The staff was very helpful and they recommended the best guide: Olman. Ask for him if you book there. By the end it is a SPA hidden by the foots of the Volcan Rincón de la Vieja. It was really easy to finde with Waze. Beware of the car you rent, because there is a relatively long path with dirty roads. But all the roads were in good condition for a compact car.

• Mariza (10/5): Superschöne Anlage, saubere Zimmer, freundlich und hilfsbereit - Freundlicher Empfang auch spät abends, toller gedeckter Sitzplatz mit Privatsphäre, sauberes Zimmer/Bett/Badezimmer, wunderschöne Anlage mit mehreren Badeteichen, Sauna, Zugängen zum Fluss, viele Sitzgelegenheiten, 15 Min. vom Wasserfall entfernt. Hilfe beim Finden von einem Guide für die Wanderung zum Rinçon de la Vieja.
• Floris (2/5): Stay somewhere else! - It’s for sale and it’s deserted. Is only being managed, the manager are nice but can not really help you to explore the area. No food, no drinks and the rooms are really basic and small. Abd with the added taxes it’s not cheap at all. Do not go! Pay a bit more and really enjoy the nature, because that is really nice. There is no breakfast, and yes that is a problem in a area with almost no restaurants. The restaurant place the managers named had horrible food. We were happy we found a better restaurant that was part of a other hotel that was just a bit more money but way better and with breakfast.

• Michael (10/5): Exceptional - A beautiful location is set back from the main road. There were amazing trails that took you through the forest and along a river. The room was also excellent as well.

• James (10/5): We absolutely loved and enjoyed our stay so much, very beautiful property and attention - Absolutely beautiful you honestly don’t need to go anywhere else if you’re staying here, there’s so much to see and enjoy! The river that goes around the property and the fact that they built natural pools in the river so we can swim, without hurting nature in any way
• Olga (10/5): An ideal retreat to immerse yourself in the untouched beauty of Costa Rica, with stunning landscapes, exceptional hospit - A wonderful place to experience the true, authentic nature of Costa Rica in a secluded setting. The property offers breathtaking natural beauty with a stunning waterfall, a vast area including a private forest, lakes, rivers, and fresh, clean air. It’s perfect for group visits, whether for a celebration, event, birthday, or even a wedding if desired. The administration is incredibly friendly and responsive—truly amazing people who are always ready to help with anything you need. There’s a small store nearby where you can find essentials, and just a 10-minute drive will take you to an incredible local soda (a traditional Costa Rican eatery). During our travels around Costa Rica, we tried many sodas, but I can confidently say this one was the best—delicious, authentic, and unforgettable. They even offer food delivery! The property also features a barbecue area for guests to use, and there are plenty of opportunities for daily walks to enjoy the surrounding nature. You can even pick coconuts straight from the trees! Not far from the property is a volcano, adding even more to the experience. The location is excellent, only about an hour to an hour and a half from Liberia Airport, nestled in a beautiful park area. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an exceptional Costa Rican getaway. None
• Lauren (10/5): A slice of heaven in the rainforest - This place is absolutely magical- hummingbirds, toucans, azure blue rivers and ponds flowing through, stunning waterfall a stones throw away and the most wonderful owners who are just fabulous! Nothing! It is perfect!
• Fiona (10/5): Tropical Oasis with beautiful grounds. - The grounds were exceptional with an amazing waterfall within walking distance. The sound of the river at night was relaxing. The staff were lovely and friendly and went out of their way to cater for us. It is a hairy drive to get to the property in a rental car. Last 15 mins in particular. Once I parked the car I was done! Although there are several restaurants within 5 mins drive I should have taken some food with me to use in the kitchen supplied to save me from having to go out again.
• Melanie (7/5): Relax and very peaceful. - Since we were in the low season, no food was available on place. Thanks to Tetiana and Mikhael, they helped us find solutions and we were satisfied. The location has great potential, lots of pools and the river, simply wow! Sauna was very appreciated. Lots of bird watching to do, sounds of them when waking up is very soothing. Garden and paths across are wonderful. The bathroom had ventilation problem, smelled really bad on the three first nights. Mikhael installed a few things after we advised, which helped, however this needs to be taken care of in a more permanent way, this smell was simply horrible. The access to the river should be repaired because on some of them, the wood was rotten.
