• Jamie (8/5): Ok place but SO HOT in the sleeping area. - The staff was helpful and friendly. Overall the place was clean and in a great location off the Camino. SO HOT!!! Couldn’t sleep because it was super hot. I also didn’t like the woman’s shower situation. The door opened to the main lobby so when you got out of the shower you could be seen if someone opened the door. No dressing area.

• Maria (8/5): Heerlijke overnachting bijna aan de camino - De trappen!!! Zalig. We mochten ook gebruik maken van het zwembad om 1 km ( of iets meer) afstand. Heerlijk. Het ontbijt was oké voor 5,- Misschien een stilte tijdstip invoeren. Het terras van. De Albergue was wel erg gezellig.

• Filipe (10/5): Um paraiso termático - O alojamento consegue ser confortável e realmente acolhedor. Os profissionais presentes são realmente muito atenciosos, fácil de comunicar devido à sua simpatia. A zona comum é simples mas realmente muito bem conseguida. Consegue ter espaço para todos estarem à vontade e, ao mesmo tempo, promover a comunicação entre os restantes - também com um pequeno espaço exterior, na zona da entrada, com uma mesa e duas cadeiras para que os fumadores tenham a possibilidade de estarem tranquilos. Com lavandaria onde podemos lavar e secar a nossa roupa tranquilamente - obviamente por um valor extra, como em todos os albergues. Algo que, para mim, é considerado de grande valor é a possibilidade de termos cacifos onde é possível guardar as nossas coisas em perfeita segurança. Os balneários simples mas com tudo o que é necessário - finalmente um albergue com uma zona onde temos a oportunidade de colocar a roupa que vamos usar após o duche - e sendo balneários separados, não há necessidade de receio de estarmos em roupa interior e uma mulher entrar. Os quartos, com as cortinas que promovem total privacidade, com luz para que possamos estar à vontade sem incomodar os restantes e com tomadas onde podemos carregar os nossos equipamentos electrónicos. Importante referir que mesmo ao lado temos as termas (um espaço aberto a todos) onde podemos colocar os nossos pés a “relaxar” após todos os dias de caminhada. Nada a declarar.
• karen (9/5): A comfortable, quiet, and better stay than I’ve had in most other albergues - Really liked this albergue. The way the beds are set out makes it feel more private than many others do. Basic but decent breakfast with a very friendly member of staff. The shower room opens directly into the main area, so if you are stepping out the shower and someone opens the door to come into the room it feels a bit exposed.
• FilipaRosmaninho (10/5): Boa estadia para peregrinos numa localização excelente. - Usámos apenas por uma noite, por estarmos a fazer o Caminho de Santiago mas estava tudo impecável. Excelentes condições, tudo limpo e confortável. Escadas para a cama de cima muito boas. Excelente localização. Pequeno-almoço bom. Não tinha máquina de secar roupa (estava estragada), o que nos fez ter que ir à rua lavar e secar.

Staff were very friendly , Kevin gave us some very good recommendations. They didn’t provide top sheets, just a blanket. I would’ve preferred a clean top sheet rather than reusing blanket that other people have used

• Rolf Zok (8/5): - Ruhiger Schlafraum, da das Gepäck im Vorraum in Schließfächer gelagert werden konnte und nicht mit in den Schlafraum durfte. Kein Rascheln und klappern irgendwelcher Rucksäcken oder Taschen. Jede Schlafkabiene hat Steckdose und Beleuchtung zum Lesen und Handyladen.

• Donald (7/5): Great, comfortable Albergue. - It was a clean and modern facility. The dormitory setup is unique and conducive to a quiet night and good sleep. Breakfast was good and a good value. The one quirk is that you can’t bring your backpack to beside your bunk. They must remain in lockers outside the dormitory room. The lockers are too small for a 40litre pack with its contents. So everyone was shuttling back and forth between their bunks and the hallway. I’m sure it’s a bedbug prevention tactic, but it’s the first time I’ve seen this in over 40 different Albergues on the Camino Frances and the Portuguese Caminho. I’ve never seen or had bedbugs at any of the other albergues. So, this strict rule seemed like overkill and tempered what would have been a 10/10 rating. The above rule.

• Sharon Shawn (1/5): Nope, don’t do it. There are better facilities than this one. A mattress on plywood in a very damp room equals mold. - The only thing I like was the location. There was no ventilation for 26 people staying in the room. The beds were in little tombs with no ventilation for the mattress and in the morning the windows in outer room were dripping with water inside. 3 bathrooms for a lot of people and they seemed to want to wake people up at 6 to get them out. The manager would smoke just outside the open door which would suck it back into the dorm area.

• Elizaveta (10/5): - Wonderful albergue! The beds are arranged in a way that makes it easy to get to the upper bunk without disturbing other pilgrims, which is very convenient. There is a supermarket nearby, the showers are nice, and everything is very clean.
• Carolina (7/5): - The room and beds themselves were really good and well thought out. The bunk beds were especially comfortable and designed in a smart way, with proper steps to get to the top bunk, which made it much easier and safer. Each bed also had a curtain, individual light, and a power socket, which made it feel much more private and convenient than a typical hostel. It was also a good idea to leave bags outside the room, which helped keep the sleeping area less cluttered. The shared spaces weren’t as well designed. The bathroom door was located right in front of the tables, which made it a bit awkward and not very relaxing when people were coming in and out. It also felt a bit insufficient for the number of guests, especially with only two showers for a large group of women who mostly arrived around the same time. This led to some waiting and a less comfortable experience during peak hours.

• Marina (9/5): Very good overall experience, with only a couple of points to improve. - The location was excellent. The beds were very comfortable and already prepared with clean linen, and everything was very clean and well organised. The bed curtains blocked outside light very effectively, which was ideal when needing to rest during the day. Top bunk beds were easy to access. Lockers with keys were available; although backpacks and shoes could not be kept next to the bed, this was easy to manage and not an issue. Breakfast is paid separately but offers very good quality for its price. It is also convenient to be able to book on the same day. The breakfast staff deserve a special mention for their friendliness, dedication and excellent service. The location is outstanding, very close to the stone bridge with a lovely view, and near a supermarket and a laundry shop, with cafés and restaurants nearby. An excellent option for a high-quality one‑night stay. The number of bathrooms was insufficient for the number of beds. For women in particular, there were only two showers and one toilet, all located within the same space. This meant that someone showering could be exposed to the hallway when another guest opened the door to access the toilet, which did not make much sense in terms of privacy. Although there is an accessible toilet that avoids this issue, it is not a realistic solution for the number of guests staying at the property. Additionally, there was a 24‑hour contact phone number available, but I sent both a message and a WhatsApp enquiry to ask whether it was still possible to book breakfast and never received any response. These were the only two less positive points to note.

• André (8/5): - A localização e o serviço do albergue no geral. Tem apenas uma casa de banho para homens e deveria ter mais!
• Françoise (8/5): - Cette auberge est charmante et très moderne. L'espace dortoir est agencé et décoré avec goût. Je dormais dans un lit superposé en bas. Il ya une tenture et le reste est cloisonné par des murs. Il ne faut pas être claustrophobe. Sinon c'est parfait. Tous les sacs doivent être rangés à l'extérieur du dortoir ce qui est parfait pour l'hygiène. Attention les casiers ne sont pas très grands, j'avais un sac de 35 litres et il rentrait tout juste en hauteur, mes bâtons de 55cm repliés ne rentraient pas. Les sanitaires sont propres et fonctionnels. Le petit déjeuner est basique mais on y trouve son goût, fromage, jambon espagnol, pain, miel confiture, etc... Le responsable était charmant, il tient très bien son auberge et très à l'écoute. Il m'a d'ailleurs aidée dans une démarche privée. Merci pour sa gentillesse. rien

La disposición de subida a las literas por escalones, las cortinas opacas y la luz/enchufe hacen cada espacio de descanso muy agradable y cómodo. Opción de desayuno aceptable bajo pago. Recomendable. Los baños se quedan pequeños para el número de camas.

Це не ліжка, це прям окремі доміки, мені дуже сподобалось, а сходи нагору супер комфортні. Є постіль і рушник. Дуже маленька кухня без плити і відсутність якогось місця посидіти не як у ліжку/доміку.

• Angela (9/5): - Direkt am Camino. Dadurch das man keinen Rucksack und keine Schuhe mit in den Schlafsaal nehmen darf war es deutlich ruhiger, gerade am Morgen. Mehrere Duschen vorhanden, sowie 2 Toiletten. Betten sind bequem und durch die besondere Anordnung hört man die anderen sehr wenig. Es gibt einen Automaten mit Getränken. Aber es gibt auch direkt neben der Herberge einen Supermarkt.

• Karolina (6/5): - The dorm is nice and rather comfy, the location is good. The backpacks are not allowed in the dorm - you have to lock them in small shelves outside of dorms which makes it difficult to pack and go out quickly in the morning. And very small bathroom / toilet space.
