• Pignon-Mashola (1/5): Very bad experience - The appartment itself was fine, but despite requesting the invoice before my arrival and again during my stay, no one has sent it to me. I have never experienced this with any other company. This is simply unacceptable.

• Pilar (6/5): - Muy buena ubicación, zona tranquila. No había suficiente cubertería para 5 personas, el sofá cama es muy incómodo. La casa suena por todos sitios. Estaba un poco sucio y las escaleras son un poco peligrosas.

• Laura Vela (5/5): Sin más - Que se abra por numeración porque así podiamos ir a la hora que quisieramos. No está muy centrico, está limpio pero los colchones son bastante malos. Solo estuve una noche y no repetiría. La envié varios mensajes al propietario y no me contestó ninguno.
• Chris (9/5): Comfortable stay and excellent value for central London. - Excellent value accommodation ideally placed for the Barbican Arts Centre. Spacious for a one bedroom apartment and kept neat and tidy. Modern facilities but kept original features as nice decorative touches. A comfortable place to stay. Would definitely use again. Stairs are a little narrow but unavoidable due to the age of the property.

• Tomas (9/5): Great location and a well-arranged, fairly clean apartment. - Great location. The apartment is well laid out, especially considering it’s a narrow, English-style layout. It was relatively clean. Some furniture is worn and could be better maintained. Towels could be renewed. On the day we arrived, the boiler wasn’t working, but the host helped resolve the issue quite quickly.

• Tracy (5/5): Lack of contact spoilt the stay - The apartment was clean and cosy, beds very comfortable. Great location No contacts from hosts. We wanted to drop bags early for an event down the road. Rang, texted and emailed but never a response. It spoilt the event as we were worried there would be nowhere to stay. It was for business and now can't get a response for a copy invoice either. Such a shame.
• Kath (8/5): Lovely comfortable, spacious and well located apartment, great for groups of friends. - Excellent location, close to Old Street tube station & Barbican, Waitrose, M&S and Aldi, and a lunchtime street food market (11ish to 2). Walking distance to Shoreditch and Liverpool Street Station. Comfortable, warm and spacious apartment for 6 people (2 beds plus sofa bed). Big fridge/freezer, nice cooker. Good smart TV & wi-fi. Cleaning materials provided. Cleo let us know very early on the day that the apartment was ready and so we were able to use the self check in and leave our bags as soon as we arrived in London. Nice selection of books provided. We were only provided with 5 towels which was insufficient for 6 ladies on a 3 night stay and some would have liked extra pillows. Water pressure in the shower wasn’t great. Coat/ towel hooks would have been really handy. There wasn’t a blind or curtain in the living room where the sofa bed was located so felt a bit overlooked, and think the light would be a problem in the summer months. There wasn’t enough mugs/ glasses/ cutlery for everyone so it would be good if these could be topped up. Only a small amount of toiletries provided (leftover from previous guests?). Despite the niggles, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

• maria antonia (2/5): cutre, solamente 3 rollos de papel higiénico, cama horrible sofa cama menaje muy escaso en la cocina - ubicación ok, desayuno no había y había poco menaje, 2 tenedores para 6, 5 tazas, muy escaso todo y no había cafetera tampoco la cama del sofá cama no estaba preparada como le pedí a la persona de limpieza y no se podía dormir allí era insoportable, la peor cama en la que hemos dormido nunca. Menaje escaso en la cocina, ni un trapo, ni una cafetera

• Alessandro (8/5): Ottimo alloggio per un gruppo in viaggio - Ottima posizione in una zona molto tranquilla, l'appartamento è ordinato e diviso su più piani, tipici spazi inglesi. Molto comodo il check in tramite codice per non avere problemi di orari. Non abbiamo trovato un modo di regolare il riscaldamento e l'appartamento era molto caldo, ma essendo solo una notte non abbiamo contattato la struttura per capire se si poteva fare qualcosa. Non tutte le prese dei comodini funzionavano e ci siamo dovuti arrangiare con quelle disponibili, inoltre provando una delle prese a muro uno dei nostri adattatori si è bruciato, difficile verificare se fosse colpa dell'adattatore o della presa.

• Susie (10/5): Comfortable, spotlessly clean, easy to find and access. - Lovely place, easy to find and felt safe and access was straightforward. Good location, next to a Waitrose which was great for picking up necessities. Stairs really narrow - which is not something to be changed but good to flag to guests. Took me a few moments to find the shower gel which was in a cupboard. No coffee available - just a few tea bags. Would be good to have some basic provisions available for guests.

Das Ausklappsofa war eher unbequem. Die Wohnung ist für 4 Personen optimal

Ps Trafiliśmy na to miejsce przypadkiem, po tym jak zostaliśmy oszukani przez inny obiekt "cosy beautiful flat in central London" spedzając kilka godzin z dziećmi na ulicy. • nicolien (6/5): Acceptabele uitvalsbasis op centrale plek in London - De locatie is goed. De slaapbank is echt onvoldoende, deze is niet geschikt om op te slapen. Hierdoor hebben we met kleine kinderen moeten improviseren. Bij aangeven bij de host is hier geen enkele reactie opgekomen. Het gordijn en de rails kwam bij opendoen direct naar beneden en de ramen gaan niet goed open en dicht.

The street was very noisy from the food vendors outside early morning and during the night, also the traffic 2. Lack of maintenance for examples broken curtain s and curtain rail, moldy wardrobes, fan 3. Typical old Victorian houses with windows that do not quite keep the noise away and squeaking flooring all the way
• Kerrie (5/5): Nice location but poor communication from hosts - The location was family friendly. There were no instructions on how to use any appliances. The lounge room window didn’t open very far, creating more heat that wasn’t necessary. There was no communication around check out process and although we were granted early check in, the communication around that wasn’t clear. Didn’t hear from the property prior to check in and had to contact them for information.

Didn't know if I would find myself stranded in London as Booking.com was saying not confirmed until I got the confirmation from the host. It would be better to be reassured sooner.

They acknowledged this and agreed to refund us so we booked to stay elsewhere our second night. Then they refused to pay us the refund. Luckily booking.com stepped in. Nice property but untrustworthy owners. Risk is it if you like. I wouldn't.

• Carol (8/5): One of the better apartments Ive stayed in in London, and very close to Brewery centre - Good location, felt secure and decor was good. Comfortable. Much better than the usual places in London Stairs are narrow and steep, but it did state this, and I was OK with it. I would have appreciated a little tea, coffee and milk.

• Maxine (7/5): Has potential but owners weren’t completely up front about questions we had asked. - Handy location and easy access via tube from Euston Spacious and generally well equipped. Main issue was poor communication. We had booked this particular apartment mainly because we had an event at the nearby Barbican and needed good access. We also needed somewhere to store our cases whilst we were there. I had been assured that we could leave the cases there until tea time- see questions to the property section. However this was not the case. Following messages to the property to see how we did this I had a message from Cleo on the morning of our event to say this wasn’t possible. Sent the following message and a week later had no response, apology or explanation. Hi Cleo. I have to say that I am quite disappointed about the cases. Please reference my message on the 24th September about leaving the luggage until teatime. I sent this message prior to booking as this was a key requirement. I am now in the position that I have 2 suitcases that I am unable to take into the venue where we are attending an event. I am having to find somewhere to store them and undoubtedly this will incur a cost and is the last thing we needed today time wise. Had I have known I couldn’t leave the cases I would have booked elsewhere. Not really acceptable. Also to reiterate previous comments about the stairs they are quite steep, narrow and winding. Anyone with accessibility issues should be aware.

Just struggled with the WiFi and getting the TV to work. Could have been us? WiFi Would have been good to be able to leave luggage somewhere on departure day - only mentioning this as it was provided for another guest.

I wanted to be close to the Barbican, and this was a two minute walk away.The apartment was great, generally very clean and comfortable. I especially liked that the tables in the bedroom had plug and USB sockets. The stairs are very narrow and steep, which may not suit everyone. The shower isn't very powerful, but it does the job. Stains were clearly visible on the sofa seating. Communication with the agents was slow via messaging. When I called, they were very polite and helpful.
