Guest Reviews
- Natasha (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE – A Dangerous, Filthy, and Mismanaged Nightmare – Avoid at All Costs!!! - I’ve travelled extensively on a budget and have never left a negative review—until now. I always set my expectations according to what I pay, but this experience went beyond disappointing—it was downright dangerous.
Serious Safety Breach: Upon arrival, we walked into our assigned room to find a completely naked man in our bed. As two female travellers, this was terrifying. The property had double-booked the room, a clear violation of privacy and safety.
Zero Accountability: When we contacted management, they deflected blame instead of taking responsibility. They claimed the other guest should have moved rooms, yet the room was clearly not cleaned or prepared. We were misled into entering an occupied space—putting everyone involved at risk.
Major Security Flaws: Keyless codes were reused across rooms. Not only could we access the wrong room, but the other guest had access to ours. When we requested a new code for safety, we were refused. We ended up barricading ourselves in at night just to feel somewhat safer.
Room Downgrade + No Refund: We were relocated to a significantly smaller room, despite having paid for the original larger room. No refund, no apology, no compensation—the room we booked remained occupied by the other guest.
Unhygienic Conditions: The new room had stained bedding (blood and mould) which they didn't replace. Shared bathrooms were filthy—urine, feces, pubic hair, clogged drains, and a broken shower. The kitchen had sticky floors, dirty surfaces, and all the chairs were stained. Bedrooms were dark, windows didn’t open, making them unbearably hot. The listing photos are misleading—the property is severely neglected and filthy.
No Staff or Support: There’s no front desk, no on-site staff, and communication via the Booking.com app was inconsistent and eventually stopped. No help, no service, no accountability.
This was the worst travel experience I’ve ever had. Unsafe, unsanitary, and mismanaged from start to finish. Do not stay here!

- Alban (1/5): -
- Maximilian (1/5): So the lock on my door was broken which is why I did not stay in the apartment in the end, they offered to send a repair -
- Francis (6/5): - Room was relatively clean and as described. Self check in process very easy.
Reasonably good location and lower price for the area. Bathrooms were a mess at one point and left like that for some time. Kitchen was a bit limited although I appreciate that they had one.
- Nazarii (5/5): Passable - Separate apartment for a small price. Good kitchen. It was impossible to open the window in our room, so it was very stuffy there. There were worms in the bathroom and there was a smell of cigarettes.
- Aida (5/5): it is cheaper than other property, so you got whats worth for your money - the location is good, the staff was helpful. not recommended for a single traveller especially female
- Andrei (2/5): Terrible. If you think it’s cheap - think twice, this don’t costs even a half of its money. Mildew, bugs, worms, flies, - Localisation - is the only one good thing of this object Mud, damp and stuffy. Bugs, flies, worms and mildew in bathrooms and kitchen. There are no doors in shower cabs so water is everywhere and always on a floor of bathrooms, toilet paper and soap were there not every day. Nobody cares about washing dishes and cleaning kitchen, so cooking is quiet extremal. There was a lady who comes to clean stuff once in a few days, but she do it only for show, all the stuff stay dirty. It was just terrible
- D (1/5): Bad -
- Kuru (5/5): Passable - Room design was nice, I was happy about the beds and other things in the room. Staff were nice, they helped us very quickly. There is no key system in this hostel. You're using codes while you're entering your rooms. Our door was not working for the first day and we called them, they immediately reached us, and they solved the problem. The code system is also good. The hostel is in front of the train station, that was also good. Room was not clean, also bathrooms were not clean, I tried to take a shower but I couln't touch anywhere because of the dirt. There is no air conditioner in the room or anywhere in the hostel. It was really hard to sleep in that room, because there is no big windows also in the room. This is why it is difficult to sleep in hot weather. There is no camera in the common spaces. Bed sheets were dirty. Considering the price balance, it is a good choice for Vienna.
- Antonio (7/5): Good -
- Mayar (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location
Very clean You cannot reach the staff
No one answers messages or calls
- Wadud (9/5): Superb -
- Martin (6/5): Pleasant - Comfortable beds, good price, for one night it serves it's purpose Kind of unclean (I mean the two bathrooms).
- Natalia (2/5): We do not recommend - Easy check-in We do not recommend this hotel at all. During our stay in Vienna, the temperature reached 36 degrees, and unfortunately, it was impossible to open the window in our room. As a result, the room was extremely humid and warm.
The bathrooms were in terrible condition. Both showers were missing doors, which caused water to flood the floor every time people used them. There was also mold on the doors due to the moisture. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
- Matea (1/5): Bad -
- Martin (5/5): Acceptable - Good location and cheap Toilet is a bit messy, staff doesn't really help a lot. Our room had a broken window that didn't open so the room was constantly hot
- Tanya (6/5): Pleasant - Any toilet paper in a bathroom Any toilet paper in a bathroom
- Maria (3/5): Poor -
- Palenikova (4/5): Disappointing -
- Tomer (7/5): Good -
- Christopher (7/5): Good - Location was ok not far from center. Very hard to find ! No sign on building ,the bathrooms need fuxing ,both had shower screens missing and water on the floor, was a problem ,do some simple bathroom renovations and new pillows and it would be a winner .
- Günter (6/5): Pleasant -
- Anonymous (5/5): Passable - ıt was cozy and close to the transportation room was so cold
- Mark (7/5): Good -
- Ana (1/5): Please skip this place - Only location is OK. Don’t clean bad sheets, the room full of dust, noise from the other roooms, long waiting line for the bathroom
- Radoš (6/5): Overall, very good for the price. Would recommend for groups of young people. - The location was good. There is a tram and bus station just beside the property, it takes 20 minutes to get to the centre. There is also a petrol station nearby which can come in handy for late-night shopping. The beds were comfortable and clean. Towels were provided. The room is smaller than it looks in the picture so there is a lack of space for the luggage especially if you have 3 people in the room. I'm not sure if it's just our room but we couldn't open the window. The toilet was smelly one day but they cleaned it so it was good the other two days. There are only 2 bathrooms so sometimes you have to wait a bit.
- Pinček (6/5): Pleasant - Location near to city center
Modern look
Clean bed sheets
Rooms feel clean and comfy Beds are terrible. Making a lot of noises even with the slightest movement. Due to such beds I'm glad not to staying more than 1 night.
Showers feels quite dirty.
- Mireuță (5/5): Not terrible, but I would't recommend it - Good position, close to city center.
Pretty clean.
It wasn't too expensive. The beds were terribe, they creak with every movement.
Very noisy, walls are very thin so you hear everything from other rooms and the hallway.
We slept very poorly for those two reasons.
- Denys (3/5): Not recommended - Very good location with excellent transport options Small rooms, extremely stuffy. Old bed linen. Creaky beds.
Just two washrooms (toilet and shower) so the lines were ridiculous. You need way more facilities because there may simply be too many people staying there. Always out of toilet paper
- Shih (6/5): Pleasant -
- Arrach (8/5): Very good -
- Rukhsana (1/5): The window of can’t be opened and there is no oxygen in the room. It is not possible to stay im room - Lack of oxygen in the room and full ignorance of the staff
- Emir (7/5): Good -
- Mutaz (6/5): Not bad - Location the staff on the phone very sweet Omg the room Noisy street no air conditioner The room is compressed And no name of apartment on the building door
- Viola (1/5): It did not look like the pictures, I don’t recommend. - Nothing unfortunately. We got the code for the entrance around 12 pm at that day. The room was small and right next to the main door. The windows didn’t really work and it was noisy because of the street outside. The sheets were probably washed but were very wrinkly and we got small but clean towels. The shared bathroom was in an awful condition. The floor and the sink were dirty, the toilet smelled. We ended up not staying there even for one night so we rather booked another hotel.
- Darin (5/5): About average. - For the price we paid, it's about what you'd expect. The rooms were really small, but the beds were okay.
- Lakatos (9/5): Superb -
- Ibrahim (5/5): Passable -
- Luis (1/5): DONT COME HERE! WANT MY MONEY BACK! - I recently stayed at this property over the weekend with a friend, and I must say that our experience was nothing short of disastrous. I feel compelled to share our ordeal so that future guests can be aware of what they might encounter.
Firstly, upon arrival, we immediately noticed that the apartment was not clean. The floors were visibly dirty, the bathroom was in poor condition with no door on the shower, and the water temperature fluctuated uncontrollably between scalding hot and freezing cold. To make matters worse, there were pieces of women's underwear left behind in the bathroom, which was both unsettling and unhygienic.
One of the most alarming issues occurred when my friend went to take a shower and ended up locked out of our room, shirtless, in a shared corridor with strangers walking by. Meanwhile, I was trapped inside the room. We repeatedly called the property management, only to be met with unhelpful automated responses. After numerous attempts, I finally got through to someone who assured me that a technician was on the way. However, we waited for over two hours with no assistance, unable to leave or enter our room.
In sheer frustration, I threatened to force the door open, at which point I finally received a response—only to be told that the technician would take even longer to arrive. During this entire ordeal, a family arrived at the property expecting to check into their reserved room, only to find it occupied by other guests. This led them to book a last-minute hotel stay, costing them an additional €209.
When the technician eventually arrived, he informed us that there was no real solution to the door issue and that we would have to continue using the same faulty door, leaving us feeling unsafe and frustrated for the remainder of our stay.
This experience was entirely unacceptable. Not only was the accommodation unclean and poorly maintained, but the handling of the situation was completely unprofessional.
- Rahul (7/5): Good -
- Andreas (5/5): Average everything considered. - Cheap accommodation.
3 beds in one room. An honest review.
Place was cheap, so I guess you can’t complain too much, you get what you pay for. The toilets are a freaking mess, and so disgusting, even tho it’s not the owners fault the bathroom smells like a club toilet and there are piss everywhere. Absolutely disgusting how people treat community bathrooms. The staff should clean it way more often. Some guy has just pissed in shower instead of the toilet, so there was a lake of piss in the shower.
Beds are noisy and not good sleeping in, and it’s a quite sketchy neighborhood at night.
This is gets a 5/10, and only because it was a cheap stay
- Igdalia (8/5): Very good -
- Rafa (10/5): Exceptional - Location
Kitchen
Bathroom Bed
- Vmorenoa (7/5): Good location, bad kitchen - Cleanness and location Kitchen
- Hussein (10/5): Exceptional - Location and its celan . The stuff when i needed something they answered so fast
- Hunor (6/5): Pleasant - Only positive is that it's cheap. Very noisy neighbours all night, twice in a row, even at 4am in the morning. No staff or any way to force quiet hour policy. I had to knock twice on both door and wall to ask them to shut up.
- Inna (10/5): Exceptional - Very cosy rooms, friendly staff, nice kitchen with all necessary equipment, not fat from metro station, good value for money) -
- Gordana (8/5): A very clean and safe place. - The place was great! It was very clean, persons who were cleaning there were also very polite. Moreover, I felt really safe there, with a code both at the entrance and at the room door. There were also kitchen and bathroom in common. We had a bathroom in common. Sometimes you need to wait a bit for your turn, but it was really clean. There were 2 bathrooms for 5 rooms.
- Thien (10/5): Exceptional - kitchen gas enough utensils, cutleries, plates etc. it was next to a tramstop, im going to my gym every day so perfekt. everything was clean, the rooms are a bit small but for 1 person it was big enough.
- Nur (8/5): Very good - Warm, clean, modern and good location The room is smaller than what it looks like in the picture
- Can (8/5): Very good - Great price, clean and house atmosphere Litte bit far from center
- Sergey (9/5): Superb - Great place and great experience. Some neighbors were smoking, but of course, it's not the owners' fault.
- Rafael (1/5): Bad experience - Location not bad. Everything else is terrible Shower doesn’t have door. A lot of noise from midnight to 5 am and the staff doesn’t do anything. Just don’t go.
- Mahbuba (5/5): Passable - It was comfortable and worth the money There is a tiny kitchen, corridor and no reception.
- Moumin (8/5): Very good -
- Foong (10/5): Near station - Excellent Good value
- Göktug (7/5): Good - The hosts are very good at communication, and the proximity of the rooms to the center of Vienna is excellent. When entering the room, you have to agree to numerous rules, but none of them are followed. The distance between the rooms and neighboring rooms is only 3 cm, meaning you can hear every sound very clearly. Even the “quiet hours” rule is ignored. Guests (on average: 8 people) are shouting, laughing loudly, running around, and whistling at 2 a.m. They slam toilet seats, kick doors and walls. The room was actually clean, but while lying in bed, I had to fall asleep staring at a booger on the wall that has probably been there for a year.
- Nikolaos (8/5): Very good -
- Asad (1/5): Worst - There was nothing to be liked! We didn’t like the place at all. The room was so small perhaps the picture of room was taken in such a way that it appeared spacious. The beds were of so bad quality that while sleeping they made noises as they will break at any moment. Room was very noisy as the sound from outside (such as vehicle etc) was clearly heard inside, and this was not mentioned in property description. The rooms were not sound and smell proof at all we could listen literally everything from outside and there was strong unpleasant smell of weed. Unfortunately there were only 2 bathrooms which were fully occupied almost every time, and they were not properly cleaned on everyday basis. The heating in the room was not working at all, we contacted the property about it but didn’t get any response as they didn’t bother about it. It was the worst and nightmare experience.
- Lamija (8/5): amazing value of money - location and shoehorn detail especially code on door didnt work sometimes and woulf feel a bit unsafe if i wasnt w my boyfriend do to code thing and see through door and people looking
- Amanbay (8/5): Very good - We liked the room. Everything was clean. Only 2 bathrooms for all guests, so we had to wait for a long time. Also, the towels were old.
- Erblina (7/5): Good -
- Alma (6/5): Pleasant -
- Zhanna (7/5): Good choice for budget travelers - We were 2 girls on a budget and before arrival we read so many bad reviews, but as for us they were not fair. Hotel was clean, even though there were only 2 bathrooms we didn’t need to wait that long to go there. Kitchen had fridge, stove, everything you need for cooking, also 2 tables to eat (they were never occupied). Room was also clean and had place to put clothes, bags etc. Location was good, if you have transport card - perfect, also there is Schönbrunn palace just next to the hotel. Beds were really noisy, even if you just laugh on it it will make noise. You can hear neighbours. It was really hard to understand at first how to open window (for future travellers: you just need to twist the stick from the side)
- Yvonne (5/5): Passable -
- Trahim (7/5): Very affordable but not that near to city center - The room was clean Only 2 bathroom for more than 10 person apartment capacity is a little bit inefficient
- Saša (10/5): Exceptional - Verry close to the xmas market. Overall excellent!
- Ryan (8/5): Oh Vienna... - almost everything the internet didn't work for the first few hours and I nearly missed my meeting
- Jule (4/5): Disappointing - The beds were comfortable. Only two bathroom/toilets for 9 rooms is not enough.
Unable to even use the toilet, when shower is occupied.
Not very clean bathroom.
- My (7/5): Good - The room and kitchen were clean, and it was a quiet place to stay No aircon and the windows didn’t open properly, although there was a small fan in the room. But it was very hot at night in September. Kitchen was not very well equipped (not many utensils etc)
Also the other toilet was very much clogged
- Václav (1/5): DISASTER - Nothing! The kitchen was mess. Toilets were dirty, smells bad. Showers were broken, there was water everywhere. People in the other rooms were disrespectful, they screamed, sing a were noisy after 22:00. Bed was very uncomfortable, bedsheed smells really bad. Room was small. This was real mistake. I would reccomend to find anything else.
- Anh (7/5): Good - Reasonable price, central location, clean Only 2 bathrooms (with toilet inside) for 8 rooms; the electric stove was not working.
- Kenneth (7/5): Otherwise, it was a good place for a short time in Vienna and centrally located. - I love the location. It is very near to a tram stop and accessible to city centre. The kitchen stove is not working and one of the toilet where the bathroom door is broken and water comes out of the shower area all over the floor when you shower.
- Sima (6/5): Pleasant - shared bathroom
- Ryden (8/5): Clean cheap and good beds - Very clean. The window didn’t close
- Marta (10/5): Perfect room for a few days in the city -
- S. (8/5): Clean and good communication - Beside the trum station Sounds from the other room may come
- Marina (4/5): Disappointed and not worth the money. - I like the simple way of accessing the premises The windows in my room could not open. After reaching out, a man responded and I explained the issue. After that he was no longer reachable. It's shocking that such a simple thing,as opening the window for fresh air was unavailable.
Also the bathrooms were constantly filthy and the hostel was very loud. Even in the middle of the night people were banging around and you could hear kids running around and yelling.
- Špela (2/5): Horrible experience - I was locked out of the building two times, because their lock didn’t work. One time i had to spend the whole night outside. I called them to fix the problem, and they assured me they would, but that never happened. The staff is rude aswell and my room had no air in it and you couldn’t open the windows. This hostel was the worst experience i have ever had.
- Владислава (3/5): Dirty. The staff is terrible. Noisy. - There were sharp knives in the kitchen. 1. Dirty
2. The bed creaks, the fan works like an airplane
3. Noisy
4. The bed linen and towels were dirty and smelled bad. I asked to change them. I was refused.
5. The bathroom is dirty, moldy. The shower cabin is broken.
6. There are a lot of people. But in the kitchen there is no microwave, no kettle, the refrigerator is very small.
7. And the most beautiful thing. When you take a shower. Ice water can come at any moment.
- Tina (7/5): Good - it was in a very well-frequented location. Westbahnhof station is 5 minutes away by public transport, from where the city center is also just a few stops away. Small shops, restaurants, a tobacco shop, and a pharmacy are within a 10-minute walk. Our room was clean, exactly like in the pictures, with a pleasant atmosphere. There is self-check-in, which was convenient and simple to follow based on the instructions. the bunk bed with the metal frame creaked incredibly loudly. The person sleeping on the top couldn’t even breathe without the bed creaking. We could barely sleep the first night because of this. On the second night, we had to put the mattress on the floor to be able to sleep. There were too few toilets and bathrooms compared to the number of rooms. There are only two toilets and showers in total. The toilet is inside the bathroom, so if someone is showering, one toilet is also occupied. There were times when we had to wait a long time to use the bathroom or toilet. Unfortunately, this also affected hygiene.
- Antoine (8/5): Very good - Its was confortable Bathroom are already occuped on the morning
- Haniju (7/5): Good -
- Aleksandar (8/5): Decent accomodation - Location is okay. Affordable. Easy check in and check out. Very small rooms. Bathrooms are not cleaned regularly. Noises from the street.
- Ksenia (9/5): Superb - Price Blocked windows
- Aino (8/5): Very good - We were missing half of the bedding and sheets on the first night and we had trouble with the staff with sorting it out. Only 2 toilets/ showers for all of the guests to use so had to wait 45minutes for my turn. Kitchen was pretty messy and all cutlery dirty so we didnt use that
- Saqib (9/5): Overall place was superb. Very clean and home feeling - Room was exactly as show in pics. Clean and tidy . Better to post hostel label on door Bcz this building has 2 doors and it took us 15 mints to find correct door.
- Alulutho (4/5): Disappointing - The rooms were exactly like the pictures and they were clean . The location was good and it was quiet during nights and mornings There’s only two toilets and one of them was blocked. Had to constantly wait to shower or use the bathroom in the mornings and the bathroom was wet after someone showerd..it also had a smell not the worst smell but not good
- Adamek (5/5): it was all right for one night - the location was really nice It was stuffy, very hot and there was no proper ventilation
- Daniela (5/5): Passable - the communication with the staff and check in were easy this place has a good price for vienna but i would not recommend it. the room was extremely small, not enough for three people. the kitchen was filthy and full ( we could not use the fridge if there was one). the bathroom was all wet and dirty, it felt like you would not get clean by getting in there. i do understand that this matters depend more on the other guests, but the dirty bed sheets with hair on them are the accommodation’s issue. all the place was steamy and hot, there was only a fan.
- Nikoloz (4/5): Disappointing - The Hostel is at very good location and very comfortable distance check in check out without any key I was in at the end of august and there was so hot but they did not have AC . WC was always nasty and dirty .
- Kaya (1/5): Modern rooms with no WiFi - Modern room The main issue was there was no wifi and the staff were unhelpful with resolving this, the power also went out which meant no aircon too, it was unclean especially the kitchen (mouldy food) and the showers (water and hair everywhere). There was lots of broken things which made it difficult to operate the facilities i.e shower.
- Erenyigit (6/5): Pleasant - Location was nice. There are only two toilets and two bathrooms, that's a problem. The room didn't have a good air circulation, it was too hot, because you cannot open the window full.
- Andrei (1/5): The kitchen was very dirty, the shared toiled was dirty and the room was smaller than the photos. - The size of the room is very small. You barely have space to turn when getting off the bed. It has nothing to do with the photos they provide for this type of room.
- Shahin (7/5): Just the room itself was good but public facilities/areas and cleaness was not sufficient - Location and the room generally The toilets and bathrooms were dirty, there was no way to contact the staff directly by phone number or messaging in the booking, there was no water boiler, and no coffee machine. It shall be something to dry up feet after the shower.
