• Claudio (10/5): Estar ali já faz parte da experiência. - O hotel é absolutamente encantador, com um charme único e autêntico, além de uma decoração de muito bom gosto. Tudo funciona bem, e o tempo passado ali nutre a alma de quem se dispõe a estar um pouco afastado da cidade. O café da manhã é honesto e entrega exatamente o que se propõe. Escolhemos um quarto mais espaçoso, o que tornou a experiência ainda mais agradável. A conveniência de contar com um ótimo restaurante para o jantar completa a estadia de forma excelente. Com um custo-benefício coerente com a proposta, o hotel oferece uma experiência autêntica, confortável e singular, a cerca de 30 minutos de Granada, tempo suficiente para transportar os hóspedes a um universo encantador do interior da Espanha. Sua autenticidade também traz alguns pontos de melhoria. Por se tratar de um hotel quatro estrelas, senti falta de uma recepção mais estruturada. Chegamos com muitas malas e fomos recebidos pela própria proprietária, o que foi gentil, mas acabamos tendo que arrastar as malas pelo piso de pedra, atravessando o hotel, além de subi-las até o quarto, que tinha escadas. É apenas um inconveniente, mas acredito que o hotel poderia se organizar melhor nesse acolhimento inicial, especialmente sabendo previamente da chegada dos hóspedes. Outros detalhes também fazem diferença na percepção da experiência, como a ausência de uma máquina de café expresso no quarto, substituída por kettle com café solúvel, ou o fato de a garrafa de água não ser reposta no dia seguinte. Ainda assim, a autenticidade do lugar nunca tenta transmitir algo que não é. No fim, trata-se mais de um ajuste de expectativa do que propriamente de uma frustração.

La comida muy buena. Mi mujer e hijas son celíacas, y en el hotel cometieron diversos errores en la manipulación de la comida (ej: hornear el pan en el horno donde meten pan con gluten, pudiendo contaminarlo, o no traer de la cocina su desayuno por separado). Se lo comentamos a la dueña y se puso rígida y a la defensiva, discutiendo lo que le explicaba mi mujer. Estaba más preocupada por la reseña que por escucharnos. Luego nos escribió diciendo que harían algunos cambios de cara a futuro.

The setting is beautiful, surrounded by nature and the sound of birds.... The suite, although a big room, lacked finesse, there was no fridge for cool water, no coffee machine, instead a kettle with sachets of nescafe instant coffee, disappointing to say the least! The bed was comfortable but only queen size. As we had our 2 small dogs with us, we had prearranged the gourmet menu to be brought to our room at 8pm to stay with them. At 8.50 my husband had to go and look for it, because there was no means of communication in the room, thank goodness it wasn't pouring with rain at that point because the journey was outdoors. The staff did admit they had forgotten and then served us straight away, unfortunately it was too late for us to enjoy by the time they had served us the whole meal. When we checked out, Sandra was very apologetic, and made a small discount on the dinner. We paid 400 euros all in and felt cheated, the hotel is rated 4 star, however 3 star is more realistic.

Old fashioned restaurant, very staid with chair covers and bows, and an interminable wait between courses. Food ok but not spectacular. Needs a fresher approach.

• Laura (9/5): A rural oasis of calm with understated luxury - This was an amazing find. A bit out of the way, but that just added to the charm. Surrounded by farmland and olive trees, it offered a beautiful rural retreat that was the height of relaxation. We had a large room and fabulous shower and the interiors were designed in keeping with the period of the hotel (no TVs here). There is one gourmet menu for the evening meal, and guests are consulted on their likes and dislikes before they arrive, or at breakfast if they are staying another night. The food was lovely and the wine list is extensive; a buffet breakfast was included. The owners are very friendly and speak an impressive number of languages, they joined the guests for dinner and were around and about much of the time if you needed them. The staff were all lovely, polite and helpful. The drinks and wine were all very reasonably priced. If you want a few days of chilled, understated luxury, this is the place. The only thing I can fault was a tractor driving close by our room quite early in the morning. But this is a working farm.

• MAGALI (8/5): Un havre de paix - Les principaux atouts du lieu sont les extérieurs, la piscine avec sa vue imprenable sur les champs d'oliviers et le restaurant. L'établissement est situé à environ 30 min de voiture du centre de Grenade. Le lieu est paisible, calme et très beau. Il appelle au repos. Attention à bien respecter à la lettre les indications que donne l'hôtel pour y accéder. Il n'y a qu'un chemin pour y parvenir. Pas apprécié est un grand mot, mais les chambres, si elles sont de belle taille, mériteraient un petit relooking, possible tout en restant dans l'âme du lieu. Mais c'est une affaire de goût.

• Jo (10/5): A wonderful hotel - This is a beautiful small hotel where the staff make you feel like guests rather than customers. The room was very comfortable with amazing views to 3 sides. The food was beyond all of our expectations. This is a hidden gem and we felt very lucky to stay. The owners have clearly given a lot of thought to detail and were incredibly welcoming.

Super freundliche Inhaber, die jederzeit ansprechbar waren und viele gute Tipps für Unternehmungen gegeben haben. Super Essen, sowohl beim Frühstück als auch beim Abendessen. Wir haben uns für die Halbpension entschieden und es nicht bereut. Wir waren zwei Nächte im Cortijo und haben die Tage ganz bewusst als kleine Auszeit zwischen den vielen Besichtigungen in Andalusien eingebaut. Wir haben auch nicht von hier aus Granada besichtigt, sondern stattdessen auf einer kleinen Wanderung die direkte Umgebung erkundet. Eine tolle, abwechslungsreiche Wanderung durch die Olivenhaine, zur Orientierung haben wir eine sehr hilfreiche Karte erhalten. Wir hatten ein paar Probleme in unserem ersten Zimmer und konnten unkompliziert für die zweite Nacht in ein anderes, besseres Zimmer umziehen. Silvia und Eilko waren dabei sehr lösungsorientert und aufrichtig darum bemüht, dass wir uns wohlfühlen. Es war alles super, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Auch das Abendessen und das Frühstück waren wirklich gut und das Personal wie auch die Gastgeber äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

The day we left at 08.00 we received a breakfast for on the way :-) Aircon No ; Ceiling ventilator Broken ; Socket broken ; Workers who start working in the morning at 08.00 are very noisy and let the car (diesel Volkswagen) with running engine inder the room window ; The farmer/neighbour starts with his big machines and tractors on the field at 07.00, bringing lots of noise and dust in the room ; Quality of diner (set menu) is not as expected, prices of food and drinks are 100% higher as comparable at other places /hotels,restaurants .

• Axel (10/5): Zeitreise auf höchstem Niveau, einfach ein Traum ❤️ - Das ist eine echte Perle unter den Hideaways. Hier stimmt einfach alles. Jedes Detail ist liebevoll umgesetzt, die Inhaber- Familie betreibt dieses kleine Paradies mit Herzblut, Charme und so viel Liebe. Alle Mitarbeiter setzen dies fort. Dies war einer der besten Hotelaufenthalte in meinem Leben. Wir werden umgehen wieder dort buchen. Klare Empfehlung an jeden, der eine Auszeit braucht, fernab von Lärm und Hecktik. Da gibt es rein gar nichts !

• Traveller70 (10/5): Wonderful restful stay - Beautiful peaceful location with stunning views. Great evening meal offering for dinner as half board option. Wonderful and reasonable wine collection. Lovely rooms - simply furnished in line with the tone of the property. Lovely hosts Did not like that there was no tap water offering at dinner. €3 per bottle was annoying. I would rather have spent that on food.
