Nicola (6/5): Basic accommodation in need of some TLC - Friendly team. Comfortable bed. Not far from the airport Room smelt damp and was in poor condition. One main light only, wall switch didn't work, could only switch off via pull on ceiling fan which was very wobbly. Room would benefit from a repaint and maintenance, good clean (including ceiling fan), new bed linen - sheets, mattress top heavily stained.

La gentille mexicaine qui nous a accueilli ne parlait pas anglais donc difficile d'avoir des informations. Lors de notre résa, le transfert aéroport était noté comme une promotion de dernière minute mais en fait nous avons appris après avoir réservé que c'était seulement un transport hôtel aéroport et non aéroport hôtel et a des horaires restreints en journée.

Chris (1/5): Never again! Avoid this place at all costs! - Closeness to airport. In our opinion, the hotel has nothing to do with eco. The premises is very run down. Please read the comments before booking! We made the mistake of not reading the previous comments before booking, others have experienced the same situation as us. We arrived in the evening (10pm) before our flight home. Firstly, we did not receive the room which was advertised and we booked. The personnel at the location was nice, but not easily locatable. The owner was not present at all and we always had to call to contact them. The room was very stuffy and lacked fresh air. The displayed wifi password was wrong and it took 45min. to find out the correct one. We still had to check-in for our flight! The bathroom was in terrible condition. No toilet paper, the faucet had averdigris, (toxic copper salt rust) and there was no hot water for the shower in the morning! Pumps were running all night that were loud and kept us awake. The room was very bright during the night because the big sliding doors only had thin opaque curtains and the lights in the courtyard were on all night. It was impossible to sleep without a sleeping mask and earplugs! We thought we could rest before the long flight back to Germany, but that was not possible.

Hassan (5/5): Passable - The common areas and the availability and flexibility of the owner. In addition, the fact that it was dog friendly. The rooms had many insects. There is a mosquito net. Our recommendation would be to have special insect repellents on the floor under the bed and to clean adequately the room.
David (5/5): Passable - Adequate breakfast. Garden and pool quite nice. Location is down a potholed dirt road 12km drive from airport, and the property is difficult to find. Not convenient for restaurants and shops: need to have a car. Room smelt very musty/damp. We tried another room but that was the same. It was very expensive for what it was.
Partington (6/5): Pleasant - Staff was lovely, had a nice swim after the complementary breakfast. Room was basic but clean and comfortable. I thought I was booking somewhere close to the airport but it really wasn’t. Obviously not the fault of the property. No restaurants or shop we could walk to because the rain made the dirt roads impossible to walk around.

Romero (3/5): Unhygienic and overpriced!!! - The pool area and it’s garden are beautiful. Even if we didn’t get to enjoy it due to the rain. You can appreciate the effort put into making a nice design from it. The young man helping run it, is super nice. It sucks to write these comments. And this is not the worst place I’ve stayed in. But I wished I would’ve been warned. When we walked in the back yard, it was packed with cockroaches all over the floor. Which is no big deal. They’re everywhere in Mexico. And after traveling in Asia and other Latin American countries, I get less picky over the places I stay. Anyway, we walked into the room they had “prepared”, the light wasn’t working. (I’m guessing they didn’t actually prepared, because there was a bed on top of the bed) So we went into the room next to it. Not surprisingly, more cockroaches. We told the girl about it. She mentioned that it was either that or the lightless room. We just laughed. Eventually, they fixed up the light in the first room. So we went back. Until now, I’m cool with the situation. But, we woke up the next morning with bug bites. Not sure if the place has bedbugs or cockroaches. Or any other animal.

Henrike (10/5): Muchas Gracias - Rooms are surrounding a calm and beautifully decorated pool area. We only stayed for a short time before departing from the airport, but Gabino made sure our stay was memorable - he is a fantastic host! With rides from him and Ecoplaneta being in a quiet area, my sister and I felt safe staying there. It was a great place to relax and wind down after a longer trip, and ideally close to the airport. Some more/other breakfast options would be good. Bathroom entrance was not physically separated in our room (the smaller one), so travel with someone you are comfortable with ;)
Michael (6/5): you will need transport to arrive and depart from this place as it is down a maze if sand roads off the highway. - cheap and convenient for a one nighter near to the airport. the pool and the garden were the best features. the internet worked OK. taxi drivers had no clue where it was but Google Maps found it.

Sean (5/5): Poor location and basic room for the price paid. - Proximity to the airport was good and the main reason for our stay. and the host was a nice guy it wasn’t clear beforehand that there is literally nowhere to eat nearby (there is nothing walkable distance) it is in the middle of nowhere. the only way to eat in the evening is to Uber eats or get a cab to somewhere. Shower was hanging out of the wall and rooms was super basic given the price tag. the pool is a bit tired and didn’t look inviting to go in - water needed a clean. and the floors had just been bleached probably just before we arrived so the smell lingered for the evening. just a bit of a random odd place but I guess most use it as a one nighter for the airport for which it is just about acceptable.

They said it is mistake and they will change description what they did. For us it was not nice surprise.. Anyway stay was OK. We came quite late and was not problem with accomodation. Location is in dark street. No sign that it is right place or not. We were a bit affraid.

Leilani (9/5): Cute guesthouse with pool nearish to Cancun Airport - Nice boutique guesthouse near airport. Owners were very nice and stayed up to let me in even when things got delayed and I wasn't able to get there til about 3am. Pool looked good, but didn't have time to go for a dip as roadwork on way to airport. They also laid out a simple breakfast with some fruit, toast and cream cheese and juice. I would stay there again before flight. I think the pool area is lit upat night which is pretty, it would be good to have block out blinds in room for people who like to sleep in a really dark room. That said, I was so exhausted I actually slept okay anyway

Mellow outdoor seating area by the pool and a little - I loved that it didn’t feel like I was in the city, but that taxis were easy to get and there were amazing street tacos close by. couldn’t figure out how to lock the sliding glass doors to my room, and neither could the staff member present!

Hinteregger (10/5): Exceptional - the host is extremly friendly and helps with everything; we were really glad to use his offer to drive us to the airport in the morning. the room has really everything you need, air conditioner helped a lot, and there are also extr towels for the pool. the breakfast is quite simple, but if you re hungry in the morning, there are shops and bakeries close by (Valentinas Cafe, las flautas... or similar). I think the offer is really good for the price, and its very practical if your about to go to or arrive at the airport, its the best you can have, also because its completely quiet in the night as it is located in a very quiet area with not many buildings.

Transportation to/from airport was not well organized. I waited 20 minutes to get picked up and as no one collected the transportation fee while I was there, I needed to send it via PayPal.
