• Guzman (9/5): Wonderful place to stay. - Great hosts. The place is spacious, lots of natural light and spotless. The rooms upstairs facing the lake were a bit hot and humid to sleep comfortably. A/C would be a perfect upgrade.

• Amy (9/5): The house is beautiful and the view/location is fantastic! - The house is on the edge of town, so in a very quiet spot, if that's what you are looking for. You could walk into town, but it'd be a bit of a hilly hike. The house is clean and appears to be very new. Modern appliances and bathrooms. Nice bedrooms with an upper balcony. Then there is the location and view! Fantastic! The house looks out onto Lake Arenal (also not really walking distance) and the outdoor space is really nice with a lower terrace, nice lawn and upper balcony. There were tons of birds around including toucans, chachalacas, brown jays and parrots. If you want something peaceful out in the country, I highly recommend!!! It was very difficult to find, even after the host sent me aerial pictures. I knew there was a gate, but didn't realize the entire street the house is on is behind the gate, not just the house itself. However, we ended up parking right in front of the house where the neighbor lady lives who has the keys and gate opener so it ended up being fine. The host was also very responsive on What's App as we were trying to find the house.

• Anna (10/5): Exceptional - A beautiful compact villa with a wonderful view over the lake. Comfortable beds and nice bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a nice garden. It's close enough to all the attractions of Arenal (we enjoyed hanging bridges, Zipline, kayak, hiking and watching the local fauna) as well as supermarkets, restaurants and cafés. At the same time it is in a quiet area, so we could thoroughly enjoy the stay with our family. The owner is very nice and helpful. Highly recommended!

• Emily (8/5): Very good - We loved the location! Lovely location, lovely host, and nice house. Would definitely stay again! The one issue we had was that there were no mirrors in the bathrooms or bedrooms. There was only one in on of the bedrooms , Making it difficult for four people to get ready.

• Hessam (9/5): My family loved the view! - Communication prior to arrival was excellent. There are two markets and a gas station very close by for all your basic needs. Also there was a great bar and restaurant called moyas and a german bakery that was fantastic. House had just enough things to be able to cook for our family of 7. It's about a 45-60 min drive to arenal national park and la fortuna. Showers were hot and house had all our basic needs. No A/C in the house so if it gets warm maybe rough, but we were always out and about during the heat of the day, and at night it was cool enough, and worst case all rooms have fans.
• Jean-mathieu (10/5): Exceptional - Really clean place we loved our stay there, hosts are really kind and it is close to the town but really private. I highly recommend this place.
