• de Groot (1/5): Turned us away and kept our money - We arrived, were turned away by the owner and young girl who informed up there was no rooms available. Booking.com and myself have both tried contracting the property for a refund and the hotel has not responded.

• Isabell-Christin (8/5): - Owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful (e.g. offered a place for drying our wet clothes which was urgent after heavy rain). Has a beautiful view over the Danube and down to Schlögen. The location is also very close to Schlögen/the bike ferry from Schlögen to Au.
• Klasen (7/5): Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Schöner Blick auf die Donau - Frühstück in Ordnung. Zimmer angenehm groß, Bett ebenfalls. Bad okay. Abendessen auf der Gasthof Terrasse mit Blick auf die Donau. Steckerlfisch lecker. Der Gasthof liegt an einer tagsüber stark befahrenen Straße.

• Hans (6/5): Eenvoudig - De licatie Het eten was erg basic. Verder wAs de zeepdispenser leeg en had de eigenaar ons te verstaan gegeven dat er geen shampoo en/of zeep beschikbaar waren
• Rita (9/5): Sehr freundlich, kostengünstig und gute Lage - Die Wirtsleute sind superfreundlich. Auf Wunsch bekommt man ein reichhaltiges Frühstück mit Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten gerichtet. Die Gemüsesuppe ist frisch zubereitet. Jeder Wunsch wird einem von de. Augen abgelesen. Am Tag ist die Straße sehr laut. In der Nacht ist es aber o.k.

• Dagmar (7/5): Good - The room was modern and clean. The daughter of the owners was kind and gave us information in English on the day of our arrival. Unfortunately she wasn't available the next day. It was difficult to find it. The location in the map was incorrect. The staff didn't speak English. They didn't reply to my messages and they didn't warn us in advance that there was a problem with our room (missing key stolen by previous guests). It was impossible to pay with the credit card and the tax they initially wanted from us was higher than what was in the listing. The lady who was there on the day of our departure wasn't friendly at all. At least they eventually gave us a small discount for the inconveniences, but her attitude certainly put me off of staying again.

• Patrik (10/5): Really nice room and staff, who despise me - It was clean and the room was newly refurbished. The staff was nice and helpful The windows could be a bit more soundproof as there was a main road right next to the building.
• Patricia (9/5): A lovely family-run guesthouse - Such a beautiful location, on the bike path and overlooking the Danube. We were accepted as a last minute booking when most hotels were closed. We enjoyed a lovely dinner and conversation with the family as well as a bountiful breakfast. It was too chilly for the outdoor patios, but they will be lovely in summer.

• Petrbifkrejci (6/5): Pleasant - The guesthouse is right next to a busy road along the Danube. The room was clean and sufficiently equipped. The restaurant is closed but at least they made meat in a pan with salad for dinner. The breakfast for an extra charge of 8 Euros was very modest, but it was enough. ATTENTION on the booking website, the location is incorrectly entered by approx. 5 km.
• Doiminic (10/5): Exceptional - The hostess and her daughter were exceptional. This is a lovely spot for the Danube Cycling Path. They even washed my clothes. A real treat. At this price point, everything was perfect. You could pay double the amount in Schlogen for not much better.
