Christine (3/5): It wasn't a welcoming experience and definitely not worth the money we paid for it. - Good location many decorative pillows When I made the booking, I saw that a pin code was listed. When we arrived, we didn't know where to park. We found the reserved parking space 76 (the apartment's address is 76B Gotthardstrasse). A resident came and said we weren't allowed to park there. I asked him where we could park. He pointed to a neighbouring property. I tried the pin number. It didn't work. I called the phone number listed. The owner's answering machine said he only responds to texts or WhatsApp. I use my brother-in-law Gerhard's smartphone. I can only make calls and have never sent a WhatsApp. I called Gerhard and asked him to send him a WhatsApp. He called Gerhard immediately, and Gerhard asked for the PIN. He was very rude to him. When Gerhard tried to explain our situation, he told him to stop talking and that he was talking now. Gerhard called us back and gave us the PIN number. There were no instructions on how to use the apartment. How could we access WiFi? I had to call Gerhard again, and he sent another text to the landlord. He replied: the modem is on the sofa. I went online, and there were 13 different Wi-Fi networks. After driving here from Italy, we were quite tired and very annoyed, the parking, and the treatment we received. We showered and got ready for dinner. There were only two bath towels on the bed, no washcloths or hand towels. We discovered that the sink drain was clogged. As we were getting ready for bed, we realized there were no curtains in the bedroom. I saw there were curtains in the living room, but they were much too narrow for the wide window. I guess someone complained, and they moved the curtains to the living room. There was a roller blind in the bedroom. At first, we couldn't figure out where to lower it. Such things should be mentioned in the apartment description. In the morning, we thought we could have a coffee. There was a nice coffee machine, but NO COFFEE.
