• Heseni (7/5): Puerto plata - Kamer was schoon, confortabel, locatie was goed en veilig. Kamer has alles wat je nodig hebt voor een kort verblijf 😊 Het enige wat tegenviel was de eigenaar. Mevrouw stuurde veel en onnodige berichten, om te weten om hoe laat ik kwam en het verzoek minmaal 15% over te maken via zelle of paypal, om de reservering te kunnen behouden. Dit word nergens vermeld en aangezien mevrouw al mijn creditkaart gegevens heeft, zou dit ook geen voorwaarde of probleem moeten zijn en heeft ze daarmee al verzekerde betaling. Aangezien check in pas mogelijk was vannaf 15.00 uur belde ik mevrouw rond 14 uur om te vragen of het toch mogelijk was om eerder te komen en onze spullen alvast daar te laten, mevrouw was kortaf maar dat was mogelijk. Bij aankomt mevrouw opnieuw gebeld, ze heeft ons binnen gelaten en de kamer getoond. Mevrouw was nogal humeurig en gehaast, vroeg om contant geld en vertrok gelijk, zonder afscheid te nemen. Kamer was oprecht heel fijn, niks mis mee, maar mevrouw was niet gastvrij, waardoor je het gevoel kreeg ongewenst te zijn.

• Arthur (7/5): Great room, but kitchen & garden are shared with owner! - The bedroom and bathroom are nice. It’s good value, and the bedroom area is really well equipped! It is nowhere mentioned the kitchen and garden are shared! We thought we were booking a one bedroom apartment with everything included, but this was not the case. On the listing, it’s not explicit that this is a room within the owner’s apartment. We were expecting (looking at the picture and description) to have our own kitchen/garden area. Owner and their family were still very nice, but we felt deceived by staying here and we would have not booked if we knew this place was half shared! Apologies for the bad review, but please make it clear that this is a room inside an apartment and not a 1 bedroom apartment :)

• Pizarro (9/5): Nice clean, quiet room. - Nice clean room, very quiet, safe neighborhood with 24-hour security. Great WiFi and excellent streaming service. Mosquitos getting in the room, better understanding of the use of the kitchen. I didn't know what to make of can you could use it or not. Highlight you only except US dollars. I didn't like the fact I had to make the time to get US dollars when I had plenty of DOP.
