• Saskia (10/5): - We had a lovely time at the North Star Hotel. We arrived a bit earlier and Haris was very welcoming, chill and funny. You are treated like a friend here. Rooms are lovely, very clean, breakfast is delicious and the location is in a nice, quiet area, but still very close to the centre. Definitely recommend.

• Frank (8/5): - Der Besitzer ist sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns Tipps gegeben, wo man preiswert und gut essen kann. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut. Das Badezimmer hatte eine Dusche, die nicht alles unter Wasser setzt. Das Bad hat sogar einen beheizten Spiegel. Das Bett war extrem angenehm, die Handtücher waren angenehm weich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Im Zimmer könnte man hören, wenn in der Lobby laut geredet wurde. Aber das hat uns nicht weiter gestört.
• Mirjam (9/5): - Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im North Star Hotel. Der Besitzer Haris hat uns sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen und uns mit allem (Ausflüge, Tipps für Restaurants,...) geholfen. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und als wir früh los sind zu einem Ausflug hat er es uns auch zum Mitnehmen vorbereitet. Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb, aber in 10 Minuten ist man in die Stadt gelaufen und es gibt einen Supermarkt und Cafés, Restaurants direkt um die Ecke.
• Anna (10/5): - The room is very clean and the bed is comfortable (the best we had during our trip in Albania). There is a small outdoor area with a couch and a table. The breakfast is good and plenty! Haris is very welcoming and will help with whatever you need. We’d come back any time! Nothing, except maybe bit more space for hanging clothes or towels in the room but otherwise everything was great!

• Sabine (10/5): Außergewöhnlich schöner Wohlfühlort! - Das North Star Hostel ist überragend! Unser Zimmer war groß, geschmackvoll eingerichtet (alles ziemlich neu!), hatte einen Balkon und das Bad war ebenfalls superschön - sogar mit Regendusche! Der Besitzer des Hostels tut alles dafür, dass Gäste sich wohlfühlen und ist absolut serviceorientiert. Er ist total freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Wir haben an einem Tag, an dem wir früh los mussten, unser Frühstück als Lunchpaket gerichtet bekommen - das ist schon ein außergewöhnlicher Service, den wir sehr zu schätzen gewusst haben! Das Frühstück war - gemessen an Preis-Leistung - gut und ausreichend. Kaffee und Tee gibt es, so viel man möchte. Es gibt einen Sitzplatz draußen, den wir gerne genutzt haben. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es im Hof oder an der Straße. Da das Hostel in 2.Reihe zu einer Hauptstraße ist, kann man das Auto auch ohne Probleme an der Straße parken, da es eine Seitenstraße ist. Zudem ist es in einer ruhigen Lage, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Gleichzeitig ist man aber zu Fuss in max. 15 Minuten im Zentrum von Shkodra, so dass man wirklich kein Auto braucht. Direkt an der Hauptstrasse gibt es Cafés, Supermärkte und eine Bäckerei. Ein perfekter Platz also für einen Aufenthalt in Shkodra! Nichts - war alles bestens!

• Altink (9/5): - Super aardige host die erg zijn best deed om alles voor ons te regelen. Heeft bijvoorbeeld voor ons een leuk restaurant gereserveerd waar we heerlijk gegeten hebben. Houdt ook rekening met allergieën. Prima locatie, tegenover supermarkt en op 10 min loopafstand van het centrum. Konden de auto laten staan toen we een paar dagen op pad waren voor de Valbona Theth wandeling.

• Patrick (10/5): Absolute aanrader - Prachtige ruime gloednieuwe kamer met een fantastische eigen badkamer voor een zeer aantrekkelijke prijs. Haris (de eigenaar) en zijn moeder zijn zeer gastvrij. Het ontbijt was verrassend en goed. Haris ging om de hoek nog snel even verse broodjes halen. Via de app stuurde Haris ons allerlei tips voor in de stad. Alles ligt op loopafstand van het hostel. Super. Dit hostel is absoluut een aanrader. Niets eigenlijk. Behalve wellicht dat het via Google Maps wat lastig te vinden is.

Парковка внутри ограды (если не займут другие посетители). Нет плотный штор или жалюзи, светло по утрам. Номер очень красивый, но не функциональный - даже одежду повесить некуда. Зачем-то стоит мебель для кухни, но нет ни плиты, ни микроволновки, ни хоть какой-то посуды. Завтрак строго в 9 (можно и позже, но ваш завтрак будет вас ждать все это время на столе)

• Jane (9/5): Ein guter und schöner Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung von Shkoder und Umgebung. - Man war in 10 Minuten im Zentrum. Am Abreisetag bekamen wir das Frühstück sogar als Lunchpaket mit, weil wir zeitig in der Früh starten mussten. Der Besitzer war sehr nett, gab uns Tipps für Ausflüge und Lokalitäten. Wir hatten auch einen Balkon. Für Zimmer ohne Balkon gab es auch eine Terrasse zur allgemeinen Nutzung.

Il nous a même préparé tard le soir un petit déjeuner à emporter pour notre excursion. C'est dommage que la grande cuisine ne soit pas équipée (verres, couverts, ...). Les fenêtres n'ont pas de volet : réveil à la pointe du jour.

Harris and his mother were so accommodating, we had to leave at 5:30am and they even still made us our breakfast! So lovely and such a beautiful stay highly recommended this place!

• Clarisse (7/5): Très bien. Je recommande - Bon emplacement à 20 minutes à pied du centre ville. Grandes chambres avec climatisation. Nous avons pu laisser nos bagages 2 jours à l’auberge pendant notre périple à Valbona et Theth et laisser la voiture juste devant l’établissement. Harris est très accueillant et amical. L’absence de rideaux occultants et de lampes de chevet. Harris est seul pour gérer l’établissement donc l’organisation est parfois un peu compliquée mais il arrive toujours à trouver des moyens pour arranger les choses !
• Alexandra (7/5): Hôtel correct mais sans plus - Le propriétaire est très gentil et la chambre est très bien. Le petit déjeuner : premier jour une box froide qui ne paraissait pas fraîche (saucisse, légumes...). Le 2eme jour Harris a fait un effort, on a eu le droit à du pain grillé en plus, mais avec la même box que la veille. L'établissement n'est pas très loin du centre (10-15min à pieds) mais le cadre n'est pas extra.

• Jaqueline (10/5): Super recomendo! - Haris foi super amigo e prestativo! Localização próximo do centro uns 8 minutos q são adoráveis de caminhar, pois assim voce sente a vibe de como o local é tranquilo! Água da torneira pode beber sem problemas! 👍🏼 Apenas o blackout do quarto!
• Julian (7/5): Preisgünstige Unterkunft - Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Freundlicher Gastgeber. Innenstadt fußläufig (15min) zu erreichen. Wasser in der Dusche ist nicht abgelaufen. Geruch nach Kanal aus dem Badezimmer. Dreckiger Teppich im Zimmer. Der 'inkludierte' Parkplatz ist nicht vorhanden, man muss sich einen Platz an der Straße vor der Unterkunft suchen (der Gastgeber meinte es ist in Ordnung halb auf dem Gehsteig zu parken).
• Alberto Juan (7/5): - El propietario Haris fue muy muy amable con nosotros y muy servicial y no doy menos puntuación especialmente por él. Nos recomendó buenos lugares para comer también. Realmente fue lo mejor del alojamiento. La habitación era grande y la cama también. La ducha tenía una mampara completa, difícil de encontrar en Albania. Aire acondicionado y parking. Buena ubicación. El edificio en si es viejo, aunque creo que muchos alojamientos parecidos son así en la ciudad. Hay que subir varios pisos a pie para las habitaciones. La habitación no tiene persianas, ni siquiera una cortina opaca y le daba el sol de lleno por la ventana casi todo el día. Tampoco tenía frigo pequeño o tele, como muchos alojamientos en Albania. Estaba limpia en si pero por ejemplo las cortinas estaban manchadas. Cuando regresamos por la noche después de pasar el día fuera,olía fuerte en el baño a tuberías. Por un precio similar, todos los alojamientos que tuvimos en Albania fueron mejores. (Desconozco la oferta real en la ciudad)
• Ariel (10/5): Excelente alojamiento con un trato excepcional - Hemos pasado una excelente estancia gracias a la comodidad de las instalaciones (que son nuevas) y al increíble trato de Haris y su madre. En cuanto al sitio, tiene para estacionar y dejar el auto sobre una calle muy tranquila y se encuentra a unos 10 minutos a pie del centro. En cuanto a las instalaciones, súper cómodas y nuevas. Funciona perfecto la ducha, el aire acondicionado y la cama es grande y cómoda. El desayuno es excelente también, muy rico y completo. Lo dicho, Harís un genio. Desde que nos recibió hasta que nos fuimos fue super amable y divertido, nos dio un montón de recomendaciones de sitios para comer (riquísimos), nos gestionó todo el transporte de ida a Valbone y de vuelta desde Teth. Repetiremos, sin lugar a dudas. Lo único que podríamos mencionar es que, al igual que la mayoría de los sitios en Albania, las cortinas no son opacas y entra mucha luz a la mañana temprano.

• Rithu (9/5): - The hostel was a walkable distance to the city centre, it was clean and tidy. The manager Mr Harris was lovely. They were so helpful in arranging our transport and even packed each of us a nice little breakfast to go. We also got good recommendations - places to see, restaurants to eat, etc.

• Maarke (9/5): - Heel erg bedankt voor de geweldige service! Toen we aankwamen in Albanië was onze bagage verloren geraakt. Het personeel heeft geholpen om onze bagage zo snel mogelijk terug te krijgen. Wij zijn hun hiervoor heel dankbaar voor! De volgende dag moesten we vroeg vertrekken en kregen we een ontbijtje mee – superlief én heel lekker! We voelden ons echt goed verzorgd. Aanrader!

• Guest (10/5): - L'hôtel est très bien situé dans la ville. Nous avons eu un super accueil de la part des hôtes, disponibles et très généreux. Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel.
• Rasmussen (9/5): Fornøjeligt ophold. - Personalet var super hjælpsomme til at informere omkring beliggenhed og hvordan man skulle komme rundt i byen og ud til andre byer med offentlig transport. Ligeledes hjalp ejerens mor en med at finde ud til en shuttle-bus og ejeren gav et lift til busstoppestedet, da turen gik videre til næste by, vel og mærke uden omkostninger. Jeg kan kun råde en til et ophold her. Den lokale mad var også i top. Morgenmaden var en lidt for lille portion til at holde sig kørende på i varmen, men smagen var dog rigtig god.

Il nous a même proposé un petit déjeuner à emporter pour notre excursion à la journée au lac de Koman. L’hôtel est situé à 15min à pied du centre, avec beaucoup de commerces à proximité (supermarché, boulangerie,…) Les chambres étaient spacieuses et confortables

• Anton Max (10/5): - TOP-Unterkunft, netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber (Café sowie Raki als Willkommensgetränk und etliche lustige Unterhaltungen), schöne große und komfortable Wohnung, wir mussten schon Frühmorgens auschecken und haben dafür ein Lunch-Paket mitbekommen, konnten unser Gepäck aufbewahren lassen, ideal für einen Kurzaufenthalt

Il nous a donné des recommandations parfaites (restaurant excellent, location de vélo). Il y a des commerces juste à côté, un très bon glacier. Le petit déjeuner était très bon. Merci Haris ! À 15 minutes à pieds du centre ville/historique (ça ne nous a pas dérangé de marcher mais c'est bien de le savoir 🙂).

• Julia (9/5): Great room, great location, great host! - Quiet, but central. The hostel sign was not there. So I was confused. Also, the address in booking.com doesn‘t seem to match with the real address. But that didn’t bother me too much.

• Eva (7/5): Unterkunft mit tollem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis - Die Unterkunft bietet geräumige Doppelzimmer und ein leckeres Frühstück. Die Lage ist auch gut, man muss ins Zentrum ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß gehen. Die Sauberkeit war in Ordnung. Es hätte aber noch sauberer sein können.

• David (10/5): An awesome stay at the North Star Hotel in Shkodër!!! - The North Star Hotel was perfect for our stay in Shkodër. The owner, Haris, was fantastic; very friendly, welcoming and was ready to help if we needed anything. The room was nicely appointed, very clean and very comfortable. The breakfast and coffee were fantastic and the service and hospitality were impeccable. Great location, too, we had a blast in Shkodër! We highly recommend the North Star Hotel!!!
• Alice (9/5): - The hotel is located close to the main streets, a walking distance away, but on a quiet street with lots of supermarkets and places to eat. The room we got was huge, big bed, big balcony, everything was clean and nice. The host is very welcoming and ready to help with whatever.
• Sandra (10/5): Simpatia e excelente pequeno almoço - A simpatia dos anfitriões. A meu pedido, trataram de uma tour, e no dia da mesma, garantiram-me o pequeno almoço às 7h e acompanharam -me até que a carrinha chegasse. Estacionamento mesmo em frente. Limpeza impecável. Nada a assinalar.
• Blanca (8/5): - Nos gustó la ubicación. El desayuno era correcto. Nos gustó mucho amabilidad y la hospitalidad del personal. La cama era grande y cómoda. El baño contaba con mampara algo que no suele ser muy habitual en Albania. No había ascensor pero suele ser algo común en el país. Entraba la luz desde primera hora ya que tenía cortinas que no eran opacas. Nuestra habitación no tiene nevera.

• Julian (10/5): Clean, relaxed, well located – and a host who really cares. - We stayed for one night in a private double room with an en-suite bathroom. The room was clean and functional, and the bathroom seemed recently renovated. The overall vibe of the hostel was relaxed and welcoming. A big plus was the host, Haris – he was friendly and really helpful, even arranging our trip to Valbona, including the pickup, at no extra charge - even though we stayed for only one night. The location is convenient: it’s about a 10-minute walk to the small city center of Shkodra, which has a couple of pedestrian shopping streets. There are also supermarkets and restaurants just around the corner. Thanks again, Haris – much appreciated!

El anfitrión nos estaba esperando a pesar de que era tarde, nos acompaña a la habitación, nos explico el funcionamiento del aire acondicionado y nos recomendó sitios para cenar. El desayuno fue excelente. No hubo nada que no me gustase.
