- Jade (5/5): No linen, no soap - BYO everything to stay here! - The location was good for what we needed. Easy access with the lockbox on the front door. 11 of us travelled from interstate for a funeral in Edithburgh. As it was last minute, the only available property that would fit us was red/blue door retreat (we hired both houses). It wasn’t very clear in the listing that all bedding and towels, along with basics like soap wasn’t included. We enquired and they suggested we hire linen from an external supplier. Instead of going with that option, we added luggage to our flights to bring the linen required. Then, when we arrived we found that the beds DID have bed covers, but didn’t have sheets (which meant we didn’t have to bring so much stuff and pay additional luggage fees). Along with that, the houses weren’t particularly well maintained or cleaned (especially given the “cleaning fee” is $200+). I think soap for showers is a very basic requirement, along with linen if you’re going to rent out your house, so overall the stay was quite disappointing.

Wouldn't stay again unless property was fixed up - Good showers, spacious. many aspects of the property needed repair/replacement, i.e. the blind in ground floor bedroom was stuck in down position - it was broken and taped up. Also bed was not queen as advertised, but double. A bit shabby overall. The outside area needed weeding.
