• Gian Marco (6/5): Per una notte si può fare… - L’appartamento è bello e confortevole con una bella vista sulla laguna. Terzo piano con scale ripidine. Fuori dalle porte degli altri appartamenti si presentano scarpe e ciabatte degli inquilini che danno una forte idea di promiscuità. I fiori e le piante finte nell’appartamento che orrore!

• Elena (9/5): Superb - Beautiful apartment, modern and recently renovated, located in a very nice area 10 minutes walking from San Marco Square. Actually I liked everything.

• Finley (10/5): Elda house offers everything you need and more! - If you're looking for a spacious place to stay away from the tourist hot spots, but still within reasonable walking distance, Elda House is perfect. The host met us on the street and was very accommodating showing us all the amenities in the apartment. Situated on a pleasantly bustling street filled with restaurants and shops, this place has everything you need. note that an ATM directly opposite doesn’t charge you extra to withdraw - unlike those towards Piazza San Marco. The apartment is very spacious, the bed is comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped, the shower works great and there is a lovely terrace overlooking the street below/Grand Canal. It is difficult to pick faults with this place! The apartment was spotless. Despite being in a quieter area, the neighbourhood is still beaming with life and character and is only a 10-15 minute walk along the Grand Canal to Piazza San Marco and other central locations. If, like us, you plan to get a shared water taxi from the airport, the closest destinations are Arsenale and Giardini, which are both an easy 5-minute walk from the property. Be aware, however, that these are the first stops when coming from the airport (we made the mistake of putting our luggage on first, much to the skipper's dismay when we wanted to get off first). Nevertheless, we couldn't recommend Elda House more. Nothing!
