Guest Reviews
- Evgeniya (10/5): Excellent! - I absolutely loved everything about the property. Giuseppe was incredibly caring and always very kind and helpful whenever we had any questions. The property itself exceeded all expectations — I have already recommended it to my friends, and I will definitely be staying here again next year. everything was perfect. There is nothing to add. It was an exceptional stay.
- Chris (10/5): Amazing stay. Would definitely recommend for a couple or single looking for a fun and different spot for your next Milan - Great location. I spent my days, by choice, exploring the city and calling has to offer on foot but this property is easily to access all major transportation as you might need. Great check in and out instructions. Host easy to communicate with and extremely helpful. Artistic layout, location and vibe.
- Donna (6/5): Ok for a night or two but no more - It’s nice and quirky and Giuseppe is great but the apartment is very small and while it has character it’s not great for more than a night or two. It’s very handy for bars, restaurants and the metro though so has good points Too small to have anywhere to put anything. Curtains don’t close and it looks out to a busy bar area, lighting is very dark so not great for getting ready to go out. I couldn’t have stayed more than two nights and not been driven mad by how cramped it is to be honest. It was nice enough but I probably wouldn’t book it again.
- Ionut (10/5): Lovely romantic gateway in Milano! - The innovative way to use a small space. The warm wood. The spectacular location

- Artur (3/5): A perfect stay - if you came to Milan to test your nervous system - I liked that I booked only for two nights - even that felt a bit too long for this place.
I did enjoy the interior decor and the overall layout, which, as a yachtsman, I found quite practical and familiar in its ergonomics.
I also appreciated that the host added me on WhatsApp, was always quick to respond, and very communicative.
And finally, a nice touch: the selection of books on the shelves This apartment is perfect for someone who enjoys spending half a day searching for the keys and the flat itself - just like a real-life episode of Fort Boyard. Maybe it’s just me, but a small warning would have helped.
It’s also ideal for guests who don’t plan to sleep at night and have a hobby of listening to everything happening through the walls, the corridor, and the noisiest street in Milan.
Another great match for those who don’t need internet, attentive service, or decent toiletries - the ones provided feel straight from a €0.99 supermarket shelf.
In short, it’s a place for guests who aren’t too demanding about comfort or service.
(Oh, and the shower ergonomics are terrible - but that’s just a minor detail)

Great place and host
- Solon (9/5): Superb -

- Dawn (8/5): Very good - The room is aesthetic even though it’s small, it was the perfect size for a couple. Location is great too and a 4min walk to the metro station and a 15min metro ride to Centrale. Many restaurants nearby too N/A
- Claudia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simonas (10/5): Exeptional place - Exeptional interior design, views from window.
- Kieran (10/5): The perfect stay in Milano! -
- Renee (10/5): Perfect blend of comfort, style, and an unbeatable location by the canals. - The studio apartment’s location is perfect—making it a great base for exploring Milan. What truly stood out was the stunning view from the balcony, where I could watch the canals and vibrant life of Naviglio Grande unfold. The apartment's design is equally impressive, blending a bit of modern design with cozy touches. The space is compact but perfect for a solo traveller or a couple who plans on spending most of their time out exploring. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a central, designed-focused stay in Milan without blowing your budget. You can read about more of my recommendations of this stay and Milan by visiting my website, Dream Plan Experience. It met my expectations.
- Sharath (9/5): Excellence stay - Great location, great host. Cute little room for one or two people. Perfect to experience local culture and night life
- Renate (10/5): Great Location - Location was good for exploring Milan, apartment was right on the canal and walking distance to restaurants and bars nearby, however it was an approx. 30min walk to Milan City.
Great host who was so lovely and very helpful. The room was architecturally designed in a unique way, the bed was suspended from the roof, surprisingly was very comfortable. The room was a little small, especially with large luggage.
Was a bonus having a lift to accommodate luggage
- Claire (8/5): Fabulous location for a short stay in Milan. - Fantastic location. Excellent design for a small space. Owner was very friendly and quick to respond to communication. Bathroom had quite a bad smell I think this was coming from the wooden toilet cover). No full length mirror. Very small space and the bed moves too much.
- Luke (10/5): Exceptional - Great host, with a lovely apartment. Can’t fault it. If I’m ever back in Milano I know where I’m staying.
- Agnieszka (10/5): The view at the Navaglio Grande and the sunset is just brilliant! - This apartment is just perfect, we loved everything about it! The interior, the bed, the coffee, and the view! The view at the Navaglio Grande and the sunset is just brilliant!
Giuseppe is such helpful and generous host - thank you!
Make sure to visit tiny place called Chill at the entrance to the buidling.
Also recommended is to visit Naviglio Grande in the last Sunday of the month when the big vintage market is organised - just amazing! It is a bit noisy in the night and over the morning when the cleaning is done but this is a tiny inconvenience taking the rest of great things about this place.
- Johanna (7/5): Fabulously located interesting little property! - The location is fabulous - you are right on the edge of the Naviglio canal and the view is incredible. The transport links are also great and there are lots of things left for your stay like coffee and water etc and we even had a steamer left for us which was amazing! The room is really unique and the design elements are all really interesting and add to the character of the place. Also our host was great, super responsive and helped us locate it when we arrived, but also told us about an event going on that we wouldn’t have experienced otherwise! The space is very small and some of the shelves are taken up with chess pieces etc so you do have to be quite creative with where you put stuff. Also we tried hoisting the bed to create more space but my husband is quite tall so he couldn’t stand up underneath it, just something to bear in mind if you’re quite tall! The only other thing is the noise, it can be quite loud at night - if you’re a really light sleeper then it’s maybe not the one but we used white noise and it drowned it out more or less. Also a small price to pay for being so well located!
- Ethan (10/5): Really enjoyable stay great little apartment - Perfect for a short stay
- Genevieve (10/5): Hidden Milan gem that really gives you an elevated experience of the city. - Every design element of the apartment was so thoughtfully considered and very practical. The location was A+ and Giuseppe couldn’t have been more accomodating. Can’t fault this place – it’s awesome! Would stay again in a heartbeat.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathleen (10/5): Unique stay in Navigli - The apartment was extremely charming and although the space was a little tight, it was big enough for us. Nothing. It was great.
- Niklas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sophia (10/5): Character filled stay with amazing host - So much character in this apartment! The host Giuseppe was so lovely - I was really sick during our stay and he was so incredibly helpful with letting us hang around past checkout to relax and also finding a doctor and checking in on me throughout the stay. Couldn’t be more thankful. N/A
- Melinda (7/5): loved the look but only stay 1-2 nights as so small - The property looked amazing, the workmanship was excellent. loved the quirkiness about it. it was very clean as a couple we found it just too small. the only chairs to sit on were also small & we aren’t big people. the only option was to lay on the bed.
- Julian (10/5): excellent location, responsive host. perfect location for a few days in Milan - great location, plenty of bars and restaurants right out the front door inside was a little small, but we made it work
- Kristin (8/5): Very good -
- Frank (10/5): Great suite, ingeniously decorated in a top location "in the other Milan"; the welcome particularly warm and p -
- Marco (10/5): Magical gateway Giuseppe and he’s artist from Palermo, cured every little details. - absolutely everything.
location and even Giuseppe the owner was absolutely outstanding.
He even went out of his way to give me an umbrella and the house was absolutely perfect.
The bed is sooo comfortable and seriously everything is just perfect.
such an amazing little gateway in the absolute heart of Milan. everything I can’t say one bad thing!
