• katherine (9/5): Great Villa, friendly host, great location. - Location is perfect for walking to Papagayo beaches. It is also a lovely walk the other way along the well lit, beautiful coastal road that leads to shops and restaurants in the Rubicon Marina. Also this direction walks you to the Playa Blanca beach, which has sun loungers and umbrellas. It was good to have air conditioning, although we couldn’t get it to work compleately. Everything you need is in the well equipped Villa. Supermarket two minutes away. Also more shops and friendly restaurants very nearby in Las Coloradas. Air conditioning in main bedroom could have worked better.

• Andreas (8/5): - Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und liegt nah zum Meer in einer ruhigen Wohnstraße in einer angenehmen Gegend von Playa Blanca. Gute Ausstattung und sauber. Supermarkt um die Ecke. 10 bis 15 Minuten an der Promenade entlang kommt man zur Marina Rubicon mit einer guten Auswahl an Restaurants. Wie auch schon von anderen hier geschrieben, muss die Matratze im großen Schlafzimmer dringend getauscht werden. Selbst schlanke Menschen sacken so stark ein, dass man nicht gut schlafen kann. Die Wand zum Nachbarhaus ist sehr dünn, sodass man fast alles hören kann.

We cooked a bit and had everything we needed. Very accommodating Fixtures in bedrooms were a little tired, main mattress very soft.

• Debbie (8/5): Peaceful 2 weeks spent in gorgeous weather - Location good for walking to rubicon marina ,roomy accomadation ,not overlooked It was a bit rough around the edges but for the price I guess ok,no tea towels washing up liquid no dishwasher tablets minimal toilet rolls no change of towels during our 2 week stay
• Sarah (8/5): Great Location in walkable distance to beaches and town centre - The villa is in a great location for Playa Blanca near the Marina and the natural beaches of Papagayo. There are plenty of good restaurants in walking distance. Their are 2 good local supermarkets with plenty of fresh fruit and salads. You don’t need a car. The Villa is a good size and comfortable. To have your own private garden with pool is a bonus. The owners are friendly and helpful but important to establish contact with them before arrival so that any issues can be dealt promptly. It can be a little noisy from the local hotel but a quiet place on the whole.
• Vanessa (9/5): Relaxing time with friends. - We stayed at Villa Maria Luisa as two couples for ten days. It was our first stay in Playa Blanca. We usually stay in Puerto del Carmen but decided to try somewhere different. We were not disappointed. The correspondence with the host was excellent. We were allowed access to the property earlier than advertised, which meant that our first day could be put to more use. The villa was clean and tidy and had everything that you could need. We made use of the pool despite it being cold; but you soon got used to it. The air conditioning was a blessing as the outside temperature was warmer than it usually is for the time of year. The villa is on the outskirts of Playa Blanca. If you want bars and restaurants it is a 10 minute walk to the marina and a good 20 minute walk to the main strip. Just around the corner from the villa is a British supermarket and also a super Dino. We used the latter as the prices were better. There is also an Indian restaurant and Antonio's Cafe a 2 minute walk from the villa. Both are good. We frequented Antonio's Cafe mostly where the staff are friendly and the food is good. We would definitely recommend this villa as you are away from the hustle and bustle but still have easy access to it. The swimming pool was cold but it didn't stop us using it. It was well maintained. The pool was cleaned and topped up several times while we were there.

Comfy beds, lovely outside area and great communication with the owner. Property could possibly benefit from a deep clean and location just a bit further than we would have liked from restaurants and beach
• Steven (7/5): Nice but with issues - Nice pool, quiet, proximity to beach Host communication poor. Late checkout request ignored. Not helpful in iPad left at property. WiFi does not work upstairs so needs a booster fitted. The house smells quite badly, especially the kitchen
