- Scan (9/5): Very pleasant - Very comfortable and quiet Free bottle of water would be nice in the room
- Gary (8/5): -
- Shayne (9/5): Fabulous!! - The style
- Susanne (8/5): -
- Ronan (8/5): -
- Danny (8/5): -
- Cheon (5/5): - Close to everything Super loud if you are on the first floor. If the parking spot could be seperate from the building that would be better.
- Theresa (7/5): - Location and very helpful staff As a single woman travelling alone, I would have appreciated a bolt on the inside of the room. Just something that makes me feel safer
- Baptiste (8/5): -
- David (10/5): -
- Theresa (8/5): - Very nice restaurant down stairs, half hour to 45 minute walk to city centre Room can do with a make over. Parking fees should not ne applied, as there is no responsibility from hotel if something goes wrong in the secure parking.
- Fiona (8/5): -
- Haig (6/5): I would stay again because of the staff and the location. - The location Not cleaned properly!
- Tommy (10/5): Loved our stay ! - The bed was super comfy! Room was a great size, really spacious. Close to the city, you could walk down to hop on the Yellow Cat which then only takes 5 mins to get into the CBD. We really enjoyed our stay! Would have been nice to have a proper shower with a glass screen or something instead of a wrap around plastic shower curtain, it wasn't the best shower.
- Vivienne (8/5): Comfortable and pleasant , nice being near park and shops and some restaurants . - Good position , clean ,spacious and good facilities. No hairdryer.
- Antonia (8/5): It's giving noughties' London student accommodation but with a great kitchenette and no damp - Clean and comfortable bed, spacious room, decent bathroom with good water pressure and a shower head that I didn't have to duck to wash my hair under (a common occurrence at 5'10"). Parking space right outside the door. Good security and outside lighting as a lone female traveller. Staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Location was great, opposite a fabulous park, lovely coffee shop around the corner, fish and chips next door. The colour scheme and the retro-style phone were the icing on the cake. Other occupants were pretty noisy at all hours of the night.
- Flora (3/5): - We stayed here for one night and were given a room with tiny windows that had no blinds or curtains, directly facing the building next door. As someone who wears a headscarf, it meant I couldn’t take it off at all. It was also impossible to go back and forth between the bathroom and the bedroom after a shower while wearing just a towel. It’s unthinkable for a hotel to have windows without curtains with such direct overlooking. I really do not recommend this place. We had to use one of the hotel’s towels to partially block the view.
- David (7/5): - Clean, straff gr8, but I'll wouldn't say next to the stairs again the coming and going outside early morning very noisy . as above
- June (6/5): - Close to hospital Chairs were uncomfortable. room cold and no extra blankets. Not able to watch TV comfortably. Extra charge to park car was not mentioned in booking.parking was free last time we stayed.
- GAVIN (6/5): Average - Room 18 not very clean as earlier Except cleanliness
- PAUL (8/5): -
- Ben (10/5): -
- Susan (7/5): -
- Barry (1/5): - Nothing
- Micheàl (10/5): -
- penny (9/5): - It’s close to where we need to go, rooms clean and good size , locked parking at the property , staff were great, I like the retro vibe
- Greg (8/5): Very pleasant - The staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed a lovely meal at the restaurant. Had a lovely discussion with the owner of the restaurant. Our stay was very satisfactory
- Katrina (6/5): -
- Ty (7/5): - Arrived late after 10 hour bus trip to find restaurant was closed on monday night
- Kaylene (6/5): Convenient but noisy if the adjacent rooms are occupied. - Close to the city, transport, the river and parkland, very convenient. Unfortunately the rooms are not insulated so neighbours were loud, the room didn’t match the photo online (much smaller configuration) and the kitchen light didn’t work.
- Leah (10/5): -
- shaun (8/5): -
- Maisie (7/5): - The room itself was very clean, comfortable and spacious. However, there were very noisy neighbours that blasted music for the several nights we were there.
There were also neighbours across the parking lot from our room, who were also extremely noisy and had kids trying to sneak people into the venue through the rear gates.
Reception staff also didn’t inform us of the amended check out times. On our leaflet, they had crossed out the 10am checkout time and kept it as 11am. On the morning of our checkout, a member of staff knocked on our door asking why we were still in the room. Upon showing them the crossed out sheet, they looked very confused and said how “naughty” of their staff…I’d beware of this incase of incurring late check out fees.
- Jessica (8/5): Great value for money! - Location was very good!
The bedroom was quite big!! It was missing a hair dryer.
Other than that, all good!
- Lynola (9/5): Great bed, shower and location. Convenient Perth stay. - Comfortable bed. Hot shower. Convenient location. Good customer service. N/a
- Sebastien (8/5): A bit old fashioned in a nice way - The proximity from the city centre
All the complementary services (laundry, milk, coffee etc)
- Francene (6/5): -
- Danielle (8/5): -
- simon (5/5): -
- Suzanne (9/5): The staff are always excellent! - Good value, cute character filled rooms
- Ross Milne (7/5): Nice stay - Good location All good
- Claire Bird (3/5): - facility is old and very tired looking.
- penny (10/5): We were very happy with our stay and we will use it again - It was a bit different to most hotels being retro, even though it was older it was clean and comfortable, it was near where we needed to go and we had parking , it doesn’t have room service but that didn’t actually matter as there is a restaurant and a deli in celebrations and you get uber eats It advertises it has a pool, that needs to be changed,
- Theresa (7/5): -
- Austin (10/5): Perfect place to stay like travelling Perth - Clean and close to all the places I needed to be during my stay I liked everything
- Gillian (10/5): Ideal spot - Nice spacious room. Good shower and comfy bed, ideal for our one night stay in Perth. Very handy for collecting hire car the next morning. N/A
- Adam (9/5): Cool motel - Great location and setup. Feels like a “proper” US motel from the movies. Large, comfortable room. Parking isn’t free (it’s $15 a night), which feels a bit “wrong” for a motel. The room isn’t fully serviced each morning, only towels and coffee are refreshed.
- Anil (6/5): Good hotel - Beds
- Ainslie (6/5): - Central
Off street parking No cutlery or pot
It was very expensive for 1 night
- Caroline (8/5): -
- Nadja (10/5): - Everything was perfekt! Rooms are spacious. Location is great and stuff is super friendly
- Janine (10/5): Great location & value - Very friendly welcoming staff clean facilities great location Unfortunately very early noisey neighbours
- Kim (10/5): -
- Heidi (8/5): -
- Nicole (8/5): - Clean room with setup with all required furniture Mattress was a little too hard but still okay for a single night.
- Susan (8/5): Very nice staff were helpful and friendly. - Didn't have breakfast everything Everything was good
- Lutz (9/5): -
- Hunz (10/5): Getaway weekend - The room was spacious, bed was comfortable, easy access to everything Could do with a bit of a paint job, bathroom door was peeling.
- Woodroffe (7/5): -
- Kaye (7/5): The bed was the best part very comfortable. - Convenient. Bed was great. The exterior could do with a paint that would make it more appealing. The shower also needed an update.
- Adriana (7/5): Affordable&good location - Nice place to stay, affordable and in a very good location, within walking distance to pretty much everything. The CAT bus station (free bus) is just around the corner. Only a few small things, we enjoyed the retro style, but I have to say the paint job in the bathroom looked a bit sad. The bathroom counter and tiles were painted red, with paint splashed around.
The balcony also needs sweeping and mopping, as it was quite dirty.
Some dishes in the cupboard hadn’t been washed properly, most likely by a previous guest. This didn’t bother me as I washed them myself, but I think housekeeping should check that dishes are clean before new guests arrive.
- Neville (8/5): A 4 day stopover. - We like the area, walkable into the city, so can get to anything. 3 good Italian restaurants very handy and a large park across the road, with a very good playground area.
It's a safe hotel, mostly quiet and relaxing. Plenty of room in our unit. TV is quite poor, with a small TV, and in some rooms, no Netflix connection. It depends on which you in, in the complex.
- Hunz (8/5): Birthday weekend - Location was good N/A
- Mark (9/5): - Location was great for us. There’s a nice park across the road. Staff were very helpful. It was good value for money.
- GAVIN (7/5): Good 1 day stay - Clean rooms None but no warm blankets in room
- Alison (9/5): -

- Natasha (10/5): -
- TAKESHI (9/5): -
- Kayleen (5/5): -
- Yuka (10/5): Lovely staying. Super friendly staffs and kind! - All cat bus was free so the motel was really easy to go around city! You can hear everything from outside. They can’t do anything for that…
- JOHN (8/5): Central, clean and simple. I will be staying here again. - Location was good as it is close to a sports ground that l needed to be at and also has cafes and bars close by.
- Silvio (8/5): -
- Bronwyn (8/5): - Location Having to pay extra for car parking
- WATTSRKN (8/5): -
- Janette (9/5): Staff where very kind and accommodating - Considering the location was very quiet
- Elizabeth (10/5): Ease of situation. Staff excellent. - Very good location and easy to find.
- Sue (9/5): Great fun little hotel - Great retro feel and friendly staff , Italian restaurant in complex was great Small rooms are good for a short stay
- Cathy (8/5): -
- Jane (10/5): -
- Rebecca (8/5): - The location is ideal.
Private and secure parking.
- Bernadine (8/5): -
- Daniel (5/5): Ver budget accommodation for the price - LOCATION WAS GOOD When looking for something I had dropped on the floor, I found a shoe, a hat and a bottle of shampoo among all the dust under the bed!
- Ben (10/5): -
- Stefan Marcus (6/5): - First time in a motel, nice concept, the motel complex gave Americanish vibes. The location was quite close to the city, in East Perth We visited during winter/spring time - the room was very cold. I’ve understood inside heating isn’t really a thing in Australia in general, but made it even worse that the bathroom had an open window that was unable to close. I don’t think it’s that normal to sleep in some 10°C during the night, can’t lie it was uncomfortable. The bathroom was run down, toilet dirty, room not that clean in general when we arrived dirt on surfaces etc. The Wellington Square park right next to the motel so its surroundings get rather sketchy during the night, had some uncomfortable encounters with agressive induviduals
- Simon (1/5): Absolutely disgusting will never go there again please stay away - Nothing at all Sheets and doona and mattress and mattress protector were all stained with urine and blood in the first room they put us in and the second room they put us in aswell
Sat on chair all night
- michelle (3/5): -
- Taylor (8/5): -
- Sandra (8/5): A hidden gem - I chose this accommodation for its price point and proximity to Optus Stadium. On arrival, I was wondering what we had let ourselves in for, as the reception area stairs reminded me of an old high school. The motel doors all opened into the central car park. Parking was secure. We managed to get 2 rooms side by side and could park right in front. Although the complex is old, our two rooms were redecorated nicely, with some very cute retro touches. The bathroom was not done up, but it was clean and maintained. The kitchenette had multiple appliances that could be used to heat or cook. Overall, looks can be deceiving, The motel was secure, our car was secure, and our walk to and from Optus Stadium was safe. There were plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from. Beds were comfortable, and rooms were clean.
- Sue (10/5): -
- Damien (7/5): still good just needs some love - good location and safe parking needs updating
- Callum (4/5): - I didnt like the whole experience I felt very unsafe for some reason.
- helen (9/5): -
- Wilma (8/5): - Quite quirky and clean!
- Kirsty (6/5): Clean, comfortable and great location. Rooms are dated but if all you need is somewhere to sleep it does the job. - Central location and free onsite parking Very dated rooms
- craig (10/5): -
- Darryn (9/5): Terrific location, walking distance to OPTUS Stadium, very comfortable room and awesome staff, willg - Good onsite parking. Room was very comfortable, with all the amenities required. The staff were exceptionally accommodating.
