Guest Reviews

- Juliet (8/5): Overall we very much enjoyed our stay! - Very spacious, great central location (for potteries) airy, pretty, great view, delicious breakfast and very pleasant staff. Easy for others to sit outside your bedroom and chat, beds were on the hard side.
- Rana (10/5): Exceptional - First time ever in Fayoum and we thrilled by the hospitality and the generosity of the staff! Ramadan literally blew our minds away with his kindness. He made sure we had the best time. Got us dinner and took us to the lake by toktok at night. I asked him where to wash our clothes, next minute he washed and dried and folded them for us. My heart is full!
- Hesham (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (7/5): Noise pollution at its best. - I opted to sleep in one of the tents for one night in mid-January. What I liked the most was the reasonable price. I also liked the fact that I was the only guest there at the time. I liked the tastes of the fried egg and the "cow" cheese that was preparedfor my breakfast. I also liked the fact that only cats were wandering around the property and not dogs. The thing that bothered me the most and the reason I will probably never stay there again in the future is the almost constant noise from barking dogs. What was even more intolerable was the constant horn blowing from the tuktuk drivers for no good reason. Moreover, what really left me infurited the most about a place that has so much potential was a few young guys who decided it was cool to customize their tiktuks with blaring base speakers that shook the ground while they constantly drove through the village playing their music. I probably could have avoided much of the dog barking by staying in a room but certainly not the constant and completely unnecessary noise being generated by the village idiots driving the tuktuks. I know the property owners do not have any control over these issues but they are issues to be aware of nonetheless for travelers that may be cosidering this location.
