Dylan (3/5): If you like to sleep in Sahara-level heat, this is the place for you. - Location was great. Just outside the town centre, but still walkable. Nearby Albert Heijn was very convenient. Staff was nice, while concurrently busy tending to their lively restaurant and quiet bar. Room cleaning lady was very helpful, and also understanding. Beer prices at the bar were good, compared to other nearby spots. However, the room I stayed in was extremely small, and was unbearably hot (35-40 degrees C!) with no airflow -- unless you opened up the small, screen-less window, which let in all sorts of flying insects, including voracious mosquitoes. Houseflies seemed to be everywhere on the property in general. The reason why I stayed there was so that I could be restful and enjoy the local beer festival, but the two sleepless nights due to the above ruined it for me; in retrospect, I was better off just taking the 2-hour-each-way bus back and forth each day, just so that I would have my airco home environment. The shower was the only bright spot of the en suite bathroom; the light when turned on activated the fan, which loudly ran for an extra 10 minutes or so once turned off. The only two surfaces to place things on, were the chair and a tiny, low-to-the-ground, rickety, metal night stand. A small fridge oddly accompanied the room, but it kept nothing cold inside (even on "max" setting), and its rear vents only added to the heat of the room. The walls are thin enough to hear other guests snoring; the sounds from their rooms also validated for me how miserable the conditions were for them, too. The bed itself was small, and the mattress drooped over to one side. Breakfast was OK; I feel like the food items were sourced from the local Albert Heijn just down the street, and thus I overpaid dearly for it. The room wasn't cheap, either, so the entire stay felt like a horrible expenditure. Wasn't a problem for me, but the staircase leading up to the rooms was typically Dutch-architecture steep, so anyone with any mobility issues should doubly avoid this option.

Shannon (10/5): - The owner, Pete, was welcoming and helpful. We got in late, but he kept the kitchen open for us, and we were able to have a very tasty dinner. The staff (Hank in particular) was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us great recommendations for a late night beverage and a walk about town the next day. The room was a little dated, but still very comfortable.

Steep, short steps to get up to first floor. No hanging space for clothes.

De kamer, inloop douche word gezegd, maar was een douchebak met douche gordijn. Slecht schoongemaakt. Veel spinne rag en dode insecten hier en daar. Badkamer van niks. Was fonteintje moet je dan je gezicht mee schoonmaken, veel te klein. Horen in ramen zou een tip zijn.

david (6/5): - Very little apartment from location. Old, cramped apartment. There was an A4 paper with tv instructions, but no wi-fi code. Kettle with 2 coffee sachets and 2 tea sachets ( one of which was open and empty, leading me to assume the rooms don't get cleaned much) Not sure if it's anything to do with the apartment or just the general location, but both me and my partner experienced many insect bites in the 2 days we were there.

Erg kleine badkamer. Hotel ligt aan een drukke weg, dus het raam open is niet echt prettig. Geen airco en dan moet de ventilator aan. Trap oogt niet heel schoon terwijl de kamers juist prima in orde zijn. Ontbijt komt nog bovenop de prijs . Dan is 133 euro niet goedkoop voor dit hotel.

Personeel is top! - De kamers hebben geen airco en het was een warme dag toen wij er waren, de kamer was dus ook bloedheet. De kamer was ook erg klein, je had aan het voeteneind zo'n 20 centimeter over om naar de badkamer te schuifelen. Het personeel maakte alles goed. Erg vriendelijke man die ons met alles hielp en geen vraag was te gek. Ook het ontbijt was erg goed voor de 15 euro p.p. die het kost. Kleine en warme kamer

Igor (3/5): Preis entspricht nicht der Qualität, Wert des Preis-Qualitäts-Verhältnisses tendiert gegen unendlich - Nur Lage Preislich gesehen ist es zu teuer. Der Treppenaufgang ist für ältere Menschen gefährlich. Es handelt sich um ein kleines Zimmer mit einem sehr kleinen Bad. Der Toilettensitz ist nicht festgeschraubt. Der äußere Türgriff der Eingangstür war nicht befestigt und riss immer ab, wenn die Tür schloss. Die Betten waren unbequem. Im Hotelzimmer ist ein starker Zigarettenrauchgeruch festzustellen. Ich wollte frühmorgens, bevor ich das Hotel verließ, Wasser kochen. Dabei kam es zu einem Kurzschluss durch ein defektes Kabel des Wasserkochers. Im Zimmer und im Bad gab es wegen des Kurzschlusses kein Licht. Duschen und Rasieren waren nicht möglich. Der Hotelangestellte antwortete am Telefon, dass er nichts unternehmen werde, um den Kurzschluss zu beheben.

Rien, le seul petit soucis (odeur de canalisation) a été réglé dès que l'on en a parlé, une autre chambre nous a aussi été proposé mais du coup pas nécessaire. Donc super réactivité et service 👍

CHANTAL (7/5): Leuk weekend! - Ontbijt was uitstekend. Heel vriendelijke uitbater, heel vriendelijk personeel. Gedineerd met social deal, heel lekker en heel gezellig buiten gezeten! Kamer is toe aan renovatie. Zwarte hoofdkussens en dekbedovertrek is niet aan de orde in een hotel!
