- Bastien (8/5): Good communication, good place to stay overall - Location was very good The bed and the roof that is too close, couldn’t stand straight
- Eli (10/5): -
- Xanthippi (10/5): - Η τοποθεσία, ήταν κοντά με τα πόδια στα must see αξιοθέατα.

- Michelle (9/5): A fantastic apartment with everything you need. It is situated in an excellent area of Rome. - A beautiful accommodation with everything you need, including a washing machine and dryer. Trastevere area is vibrant and lively with restaurants very close by, however at night the apartment was surprisingly quiet. The host was prompt and very helpful in helping us obtain access to the apartment. I wasn’t aware of the extra charge to use the sofa bed until arrival at the property.

- Richard (10/5): Great apartment in great area - Property had everything we needed and was in a great location. Away from the city centre but within walking distance and plenty of bars, restaurants and shops locally but despite this the apartment was in a very quiet part of the area Nothing - everything was great
- Martin (9/5): - The suite had everything we needed and was good fun with the mezzanine level. Good location in a trendy part of town. However, there was no street noise or disturbance. The area is trendy but there is a lot of graffiti in Rome in general and a lot here.
- Trevor (10/5): Excellent 1st time too Rome and Europe experience, as per above comments 😀 - Excellent location to many affordable cafes/restaurants great location to many iconic attractions in beautiful Roma. Room was fantastic, with awesome living space, great bathroom and bedroom. Many appliances , cutlery crockery etc. Brilliant having a washing machine and clothes airer after many weeks of travelling and not always available. Host was excellent to communicate with. Highly recommend, would definitely return. Bit expensive, but that is probably Rome prices. Our 1st experience to Europe and Rome was amazing, grazis 😘 N/A
- Steven (8/5): Rome is an amazing place and would definitely stay in Trastevere again close enough to the centre but a lovely place to - Location is perfect. Very close to lovely bars, restaurants and a square. Despite this it’s quiet in the apartment. The shower wasn’t great.

- Anna (9/5): Fijn verblijf, schoon en goede bedden. Top locatie! - Goed bed, heerlijk geslapen. Goede airco. Leuke indeling van de kamer. Goed schoon appartement. Schone witte lakens en handdoeken. Super fijne top locatie. In superleuke gezellige wijk. Host is goed bereikbaar, goede support.
- Victoria (5/5): It was pleasant - Excellent location in the heart of Trastevere We did notice a few things that could be improved. We ran short on toilet roll, and found the walk to the bins a little inconvenient for guests. The apartment also felt smaller than expected compared to the photos, and the shower temperature was inconsistent—sometimes very cold and then suddenly very hot.
That said, we still enjoyed our stay overall and are grateful for the hospitality.
- Goyal (8/5): - Perfect location in the heart of Trastevere. Lovely apartment, very clean, with smooth check in. Easy communication with the host. Would definitely recommend staying there. The booking was made for 2 people (not a couple) and only one bed was prepared with bedsheets and towels. After texting the owner of the property and asking for second set of bedsheets to be able to use the sofa, he responded that for 2 people its one bed only, which was really weird and not in description beforehand.

- Katrina (8/5): Very good - Nice place to stay, good location Watch your head on the mezzanine floor!
- Julie (10/5): Trastevere was so busy and vibrant in the nearby piazza but walking round the corner was the quiet peaceful apartment. - The location was great and so quiet. It was a quirky apartment with a mezzanine bedroom.
It felt cool too even with soaring 36 degrees outside. Nothing

- Benoit (10/5): Grazie Mille Trastevere - Absolutely perfect.
Location is perfect.
Communication with the host is perfect.
Surroundings are perfect.
Apartment is perfect.
Price was perfect.
It was our first time in Rome and I couldn't have hoped for a better place to stay to get acquainted with the city!
On the practical side: the place is furnished with everything you need from cutlery to pans to ironing board/iron to hair dryer.
It also has a small fridge, stove top, and a washing machine.
The host was very accommodating (our flight was delayed) and the process to get and return the keys was super clear and easy.
Trastevere, the neighbourhood, is extremely charming and quite calm despite the very lively atmosphere. It has bars and restaurants aplenty and is a 5 minutes walk away from Ponte Sisto.
The hood is easily reachable by train from the airport (Trastevere Station) It costs 8€ per person. Then a quick tramway ride from the train station (1.5€ per person) and a very short walk gets you to the apartment.
It certainly was a first of many times in Rome and I sure will look to book the San Calisto Suite again and again...

- Marybeth (9/5): Great location clean and air conditioning in Rome! - Excellent location to food bars and city center. Host was very good and helped us get transportation to cruise chip from the suite. Air condited a plus since it was over 100 everyday!! Clean and would stay again or recommend a couple or friends traveling together in Rome. It was pricey but paying for location. Took me awhile to figure out coffee machine but once we figured it out it was very good.
- James (9/5): Ideal accommodation for a short stay - Location was great.
- Susan (9/5): Perfectly situated unique accommodation in the heart of Trestevere - A fun one of a kind accommodation with everything a couple would need. Within a minutes walk along a laneway to the best cafes. Great communication throughout too. We love it all.
If you are tall be mindful of the low beams
Very little natural light but you are in a small laneway so light is harder to get in.
- Abigail (8/5): We had a fantastic stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone. - Excellent location and the property was equipped with everything you could possibly need. Comfortably bed and sofa, and the host was really friendly and welcoming. Two minor things, the toilet seat was broken and the shower ran out of hot water one day.
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
- Taras (8/5): Very good -
- Louise (9/5): Very good stay excellent location for food and bars… we walked to every attraction, the furthest was villa borghese whic - Everything we needed for a long weekend stay
- Jadranka (9/5): Superb -
- Andrea (9/5): great stay in Rome for the Ryder cup - beautiful appartment ,had everything needed for a great stay
- Bonnie (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location in the heart of Trastevere (but very quiet at night for an easy sleep), clean & well-equipped apartment, very kind & responsive hosts, easy check-in with lockbox. Perfect for a few days exploring Roma!
- Brian (7/5): Great place to stay - Great location to all the restaurants and bars. The shower wouldn’t drain properly and had a musky smell.
- Cora (6/5): Pleasant - The location was fantastic and easy to access. The room was a good size. The air conditioning didn’t work well and there were mosquitoes coming into the room
- Emily (8/5): Safe spot and prime location (right next to a beautiful, busy plaza). - The hostess was pleasant and expectations of the property (garbage cleanup, where supplies were, etc.) were totally reasonable. I felt safe and secure inside the condominium complex with two keys to enter. The room was clean and ameneties were more than I anticipated (washer, dryer, dishwasher, etc.) The door was a little tricky to unlock (but a quick text to the owner helped me, and once I figured out how, it reinforced how safe I felt in the location). The upstairs neighbors were extremely loud on the first night, but that is not the fault of the property owners.
- Lina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (8/5): Couldn’t have ask for anything better. Loved it :) - It was so cozy, perfect location!!! Plenty of room just all in all was great ;) The shower didn’t have very good drainage. It was like a mini pool.
The freezer needs defrosting.
There wasn’t a drying rack for washing up and the dishwasher didn’t have any tablets.
- Danetta (9/5): Superb - The location was fantastic. The neighbour had a great vibe and very close to everything we wanted to see
- Philipp (8/5): Very good -
- Venelin (10/5): Amazing place to enjoy Trastevere and all the beauty of Rome! - The perfect place to enjoy Trastevere and Rome as a couple, full with art and cosiness. All the good bars, trattorias and osterias are around in walking distance. The nightlife in the neighbourhood is amazing and if you need some time to rest, the apartment is giving it to you, being situated in a silent patio. Well-equipped kitchen and everything you need for a relaxed stay. Highly recommended!

- Boris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Guillois (6/5): Pleasant -
- Camila (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jana (8/5): Very good - Very nice apartment, completely equipped with everything you need (even for a longer stay). Super comfy beds and pillows. Walking distance from the most important attractions, bus nearby. Lively neighborhood, a lot of nice restaurants and bars. We checked in earlier. The cleaning service wanted to enter once we were in the apartment and on the check-out the next guests came before our check-out time. They all had their own keys. It was, however, a matter of management, so not a big deal.
- Ivana (8/5): Very good -
- Eric (7/5): High potencial but needs better cleaning - The location is very good, the apartment is small but with a good layout. Anna is nice and communication with her was easy and fast. She even accomodated our early arrival and let us check in early.
Water, toiletries, and disposabal slippers were provided. The apartment wasn't cleaned very well. In the bedroom the floor had been mopped only in the center part but all around was super dusty, the inside of the cabinets were dusty and there were a couple of fleece blankets thrown there, not sure if they were washed.
The bathroom had a slimy shower floor, the toothbrush cup was dirty and the toilet seat was broken.
- Meredith (10/5): Fantastic stay - This is a very well appointed apartment, where everything has been thought-out with attention to detail. Trastevere is the best place to stay in Rome.
- Colin (9/5): Superb -
- Tom (8/5): Pretty good for the money. - Well-designed apartment.
Well equipped kitchen.
Lively neighborhood. No shampoo/conditioner.
Loft had a pretty low ceiling, had to walk hunched over. Might be problematic if you are above 180cm.
Would prefer a key lockbox, rather than waiting for the owner.
- Tim (8/5): Very good -
- Ruth (9/5): Superb -
- Lewis (10/5): Exceptional - Close to restaurants, quiet property, large space, nice host/ easy check in
- Kathy (6/5): Acceptable only if you want to spend as little time as humanly possible in the apartment. - We stayed at the San Calisto suite apartment from Aug. 29-31 2022
We have mixed feelings about this place. It’s a case of perfect from afar, but in the end, far from perfect. The positives : very well located. Trastevere is a cool, hip place, and the apartment was within walking distance from all the action, yet distant enough from the craziness of the hyper-touristy part of Rome. We chose this place because it had a kitchen (to save money, we wanted to cook/eat at the apartment) and a washer, which we needed at this point in our trip. When we got there, the lady who greeted us showed us the washer and the soap box which, we later found out, was empty, so we had to wash our clothes with our own sheets of soap we normally use in camping. We also had to wash their towels, which smelled terrible, as if they had been folded while still wet. We asked where we could buy some groceries… she didn’t know. Really? You live in Rome and you don’t know where the nearest mercato is located??? We then asked for a non-touristy restaurant. She recommended the Tonnarello, which is actually the most sought-after place by tourists, and there was a 300-people line-up to get in. Useless. The dishwasher had been left full of dirty dishes by the previous renters, so it smelled like a dead body in there, and there was no soap left for the dishwasher either. We had to wash somebody else’s dishes. And despite being an apartment with a full set of kitchen wares, there were no kitchen towels or anything to actually wash the dishes with, and we were told to use paper towels (which there was only half a roll left - a joke). Our desire to eat at home vanished when we noticed that there were a lot of hairs on the toaster. Disgusting. Same thing in the stairs. Hair was hanging from the steps. In the bathroom, the handle for the little hose that acts as a bidet was broken. The water temperature setting of the shower had a mind of its own : too little pressure and the water heater doesn’t turn on, and you freeze, enough pressure and it turns on without regard to the selected temperature, and you get boiled. The drain didn’t drain (clogged with hair); we found not one, but two bottles of Drano (not the first time this has happened…) and solved the issue. The A/C worked, but was either on or off.
