• Amaia Elixabet (10/5): Perfecto para el precio - La ubicación y los propietarios. Nos reservaron una plaza para el coche y estaban siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Las vistas de la terraza en el desayuno son ideales. La habitación era la mas pequeña en la que me he alojado en la vida, pero tenía hasta nevera.

• Maximilian (10/5): Einfach super! - Beste Lage, sehr sauber, für die Lage außerordentlich ruhig. Die Gastgeber sind wirklich wahnsinnig zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Innerhalb von ein paar Minuten ist man auf dem Basar, perfekt um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Unser Gastgeber empfang uns täglich vor der Unterkunft und half uns beim parken. Die Anfahrt hat sich für uns allerdings beim ersten Mal sehr schwierig gestaltet, da sollte man etwas Zeit einplanen und sich vorher anschauen welche Wege geeignet sind (viele Einbahnstraßen). Dass über das Frühstück hier negatives steht finde ich nicht in Ordnung, es ist alles frisch und reichlich, guter Kaffee und jeden Tag etwas Abwechslung. Es ist eben ein Gasthaus, für uns war das super! Man sollte sich halt bewusst werden dass es kein Buffet gibt wie in einem 5 Sterne Hotel in der Türkei. 😀 Nichts.

The room and bathroom were very clean as was the entire property. The view from the terrace was amazing and a lovely place to sit in the evening. Breakfast was amazing! Fresh, yummy and abundant. We did not leave the breakfast table hungry! The location is easy walking distance to the main old town and the castle. It is quite a hike up but then you are in the heart of everything. Nothing, It is the perfect place for a weekend getaway!

Man ist zu Fuß 2 min zum Basar gelaufen, man konnte prinzipiell alles zu fuß erledigen. Frühstück war lecker und einen Parkplatz gab’s auch. Unser Zimmer war etwas klein aber absolut ausreichend und hatte alles was man brauchte :)

• Alvaro (10/5): - La ubicación al lado de lo más turístico a unos 100 metros estás , los dueños muy simpáticos , tienes parking gratis en la puerta de la casa , la terraza está muy guay con vistas a la ciudad y al castillo , la habitación no es que sea muy espaciosa pero lo suficiente como para estar agusto , la cama es comida y tiene aire acondicionado , en general nos ha encantado.

• Hendrik (9/5): Heel goed en aangenaam - Vriendelijke hosts, leuk uitzicht vanop het terras van het gebouw en het restaurant waar we ontbijt hebben gekregen. De host heeft gezorgd dat we voor de guest house hebben kunnen parkeren, ideaal voor de bagage. Kamers zijn eerder klein, maar je hebt alles wat je nodig hebt. Locatie is perfect om de oude stad te ontdekken. We zouden hier zeker nog terugkomen. Eerder kleine kamers met raam dat uitkijkt op een muur. Douchegordijn was ook niet zo stevig.

Perfect! Lovely breakfast served in the bar over the road. Room 2 is very small. We loved it but make sure you check you are happy with it before you book it. The photos are correct.

• Hendrik (10/5): - Äußerst gute Lage. Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus.
• Lisa (7/5): - Kleine private Unterkunft im Herzen der Altstadt. Unser Zimmer lag im untersten Stockwerk und war winzig klein, doch sehr sauber. Wir waren froh, dass wir nur sehr leichtes Gepäck und keine Koffer mit hatten. Stauraum war im Zimmer nicht wirklich vorhanden. Dennoch überwiegt der positive Eindruck: Sofort wurde uns dabei geholfen einen Parkplatz zu finden und das funktionierte reibungslos. Auch war die Begrüßung sehr freundlich und herzlich. Das Zimmer verfügte über eine Klimaanlage. Achtung: Barzahlung des Zimmerpreises! Der Duschvorhang im Bad ist leider nicht ganz so komfortabel. Frühstück gibt es ab 9 Uhr im benachbarten Restaurant. Das fiel für unseren Geschmack eher spärlich aus - Kaffee wurde uns nicht angeboten.

Bardzo pomocna i dobra osoba. Gospodarz zapytał gdzie zostawiliśmy auto i poszedł z nami je prze parkować bo dostalibyśmy mandat. Zaoferowali możliwość zostania dłużej w hotelu abym mogła się lepiej poczuć na dalszą podróż. Bardzo polecamy :)

Uśmiechnięci, pomocni, pomimo słabej znajomości języka angielskiego potrafili się komunikować. Mały pokoik oddawał klimat ciasnego miasta jakim jest Gjirokastera. Lokalizacja zaraz pod zamkiem - maksymalnie 10min. spacerem. Wieczorem można się wybrać na spacer po pięknych, równoległych uliczkach. Bardzo dobre śniadanie w restauracji obok.

• Mall (8/5): - Emplacement, le bâtiment charmant tout comme les hôtes et la vue superbe du balcon de la maison. C'était très propre. La chambre était minuscule et le lit forcément pas très grand. Ça va pour une nuit. Petit déjeuner en face dans un restaurant , très moyen., café non inclus...Notre hôte nous a payé le lendemain un petit-déjeuner dans une pâtisserie non loin, de bien meilleure qualité

• Damien (10/5): A great way to experience Gjirokaster. - A beautiful Guest House located perfectly to all the main sites of Gjirokaster. The hosts were so lovely and made me feel very welcome. The booking and room information are all correct. The breakfast is a good size and had traditional Albanian elements. I loved staying here for the night.

• Sanne (10/5): - De kamer die wij hadden was heel erg klein, maar alles was er. Het was super schoon en netjes. De gastheer- en vrouw zijn echt mega aardig en willen je met alles helpen! Het is leuk dat je echt in een authentiek huisje slaapt, maar hou er dus rekening mee dat het echt klein is. Er is een dakterras waar je gebruik van kunt maken en dat is heerlijk. Daarbij is de ligging top en dat scheelt je een hoop loze meters naar boven wandelen! Hou rekening met de grootte van de kamer, maar voor 1 of 2 nachtjes vonden wij het prima!

• kathleen (10/5): Just loved it. - Mimoza and Pandeli were oh-so-kind to me. I was not feeling well when I got there and they got me to a doctor immediately, then nursed me for days well beyond the call of duty or anything. I stayed longer than I planned and hated to leave. Breakfasts were great and immense. Again, super clean and nice. Would definitely recommend it. The streets outside throughout the area are cobblestoned and very steep. Difficult for my old feet to walk on but not for the young. Goes with the territory.

La guest est très bien placée dans l'hypercentre à 2 pas du château et du vieux bazar tout en étant très calme. Nous avons pu facilement nous garer dans la rue juste devant l'entrée. La guest house dispose d'une terrasse avec une vue magnifique sur les montagnes. Petit déjeuner compris niveau rapport qualité-prix difficile de faire mieux.

• marc (10/5): Exceptionnel - Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse de nos hôtes. La chambre est très propre avec un mini frigo. Il y a des volets aux fenêtres. La terrasse commune est fantastique, arborée et vue impressionnante sur les montagnes. Très bon rapport qualité prix. L’emplacement est parfait. Le vieux bazar et à 2 min à pieds et il y a une place de parking en face de la Vila. Bon rapport qualité prix nous recommandons. Attention paiement en cash (pas un soucis pour nous) La chambre réservée est exiguë mais nous le savions. Impossible d’ouvrir une valise, alors 2 … Petit déjeuner compris dans le restaurant d’en face : bien mais sans plus, il a fallu payer en supplément pour avoir un café (non compris initialement).
• Bayiha Daho (10/5): Best place I have stayed in! - A 10 min walk from the castle. The hospitality was top notch! Mimosa made us feel at home. She even upgraded us to a bigger room on arrival. The view outside is nothing short of incredible. Very highly recommended. Nothing to dislike! Everything was perfect.
• Carmen (10/5): - Buenísima ubicación y fácil acceso en coche, teniendo en cuenta la ciudad (cuestas y empedrado antiguo). Hay aparcamiento justo en frente. El alojamiento estaba impecable. Aunque nuestra habitación no era muy grande, para ir a descansar y a ducharse y dormir, era perfecto. Mimosa y el señor griego que nos ayudó a aparcar son unas personas entrañables.
• Emily (10/5): Amazing stay with a spectacular terrace and the absolutely kindest hosts. - Everything!!! This was the best place we stayed in all of Albania for several reasons. The guesthouse itself is small and cozy. The location is unbeatable: less than 10 minutes walk to the bazaar and other sights, and very quiet. The restaurant across the street is almost an extension of the guesthouse and the staff there are welcoming and the food is good. The room itself was very small but that’s okay because we only slept there- most time was spent around Gjirokaster or on the terrace. The room and property is immaculately clean, and has one of the best showers I’ve ever had. The real highlights were the terrace and the hosts. That terrace with the view, shade, breeze, and smell of flowers is my happy place. Perfect for reading, relaxing, or having a drink outside. Mimosa and Pandeli are the most gracious, generous, kind, fun, hosts!!! We had so much fun using Google translation and pantomiming to have conversations. Mimosa was kind enough to bring us fresh fruit and salad on the hottest of days. Truly amazing people. Hope to see them again soon!! The room is tiny, but that didn’t bother us since it’s only for sleeping. I’d recommend offering more variety at breakfast, including fresh options (fruits and vegetables).

• Jonathan (10/5): - This was our favorite place in our whole trip. After a long drive from Tirana, the view was absolutely breath-taking. The owner helped us park right away (easy parking in front of the building) and greeted us with fruit. The rooms are spotless and comfortable! The restaurant across the street was awesome and the breakfast was great, too! Only a few steps from the bazaar and a short hike to Ali Pasha Bridge. The view alone is worth the trip. We wished we could have stayed longer!

• Anno (9/5): Fantastisch - We werden gastvrij ontvangen door Mimoza. Onze alleraardigste gastvrouw. De ligging is perfect; je loopt zo de bazaar op. De kamer is heel klein, maar was prima voor de 2 nachten dat we hier waren. Mimoza houdt een parkeerplek voor de deur voor je vrij. Heel handig. Uitzicht van het terras is mooi. Je kijkt op het kasteel en de stad. Het enige minpuntje vonden wij het ontbijt. Dit is uitbesteed aan het tegenover gelegen restaurant en het ontbijt is vullend, maar zoals ik eerder in een recensie las, fantasieloos. Je kunt hier ook pas om 9 uur terecht. Wat wel heel lief was, was dat op de dag van vertrek (we wilden vroeg weg) er een ontbijt werd geregeld bij de om de hoek gelegen bakker/ traiteur. Super
• Danièle (9/5): - Guest house Emily est une toute petite maison ancienne bien restaurée et décorée avec goût,. Notre chambre était très petite au 2eme sous sol, mais par les températures de plus de 35°, elle gardait la fraîcheur. Et pour profiter de la belle vue, l'accès à la petite terrasse du RdC est suffisant ! Nous avons aussi apprécié l'accueil de notre hôte et les bouteilles d'eau à volonté ! Le petit déjeuner, correct, est servi sur la terrasse du restaurant juste en face de la maison d'hôte, mais il est dommage qu'une seule tasse de café ne soit incluse dans le prix !
• Joan (8/5): - De eigenaresse was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De lokatie was super! Uitzicht op het dakterras is geweldig. De badkamer was ontzettend klein en je kon er met 2 personen niet in. Er was geen douchegordijn waardoor tijdens het douchen alles nat werd. Het bed was voor ons erg klein, maar dat is persoonlijk. We hadden een kamer helemaal onderin, toen ik me realiseerde dat als er iets zou gebeuren, wij geen kant opkonden.

• Lucien (9/5): - L'accueil et la gentillesse de Mimoza, la propriétaire. La petite terrasse avec vue sur la vieille ville, la mosquée et une partie du chateau! Très bien situé et au calme malgré la proximité de la vieille ville et l'animation. Les chambres sont petites, mais fonctionnelles et tout y est. Nous recommandons sans aucune hésitation!
• Carina (8/5): - Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und die Unterkunft hatte eine tolle Terrasse mit super Aussicht. Die Lage der Unterkunft war auch perfekt. Das Zimmer war zwar klein, jedoch sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das inbegriffene Frühstück im Restaurant gegenüber ist sehr einfach gehalten, wir empfehlen woanders zu frühstücken.
