• Domi.M (7/5): Pour le prix ne pas être trop exigeant et - Le personnel est très attentionné et particulièrement hani qui est le meilleur des hommes que j'ai rencontré durant mon séjour. Même si les 2 repas étaient les mêmes hormis le poisson pané qui le lendemain était du poulet pané, ceux ci étaient très bon et copieux. Aussi a l'arrivée nous avons été surclassé dans un chambre avec vue sur les pyramides mais étais ce vraiment un cadeau? Entrée des pyramides à pied a 10 min La chambre bien que paraissant récente est assez vétuste, de même que la douche où il faut chauffer l'eau 15 min avant de se doucher et l'eau est un coup chaude un coup froide. Pas de pression dans la douche. Si vous ouvrez l'eau du lavabo, l'eau s'écoule derrière le lavabo! La moitié des prises ne fonctionnent pas. Même si la vue sur les pyramides est sympathique, vous ne restez pas devant ma fenêtre toute la nuit pour la regarder...donc le surclassement annoncé que vous payez plus cher si vous réservez a la base chambre avec vue, n'est pas un cadeau car isolation phonique nulle et nous n'avons pas dormi des 2 nuits entre le traffic et klaxons incessants de la rue et les aboiements de la meute de chiens errant vivant aux pieds de l'hôtel Un rooftop annoncé qui est en chantier avec piscine et restaurant de prévu...mais ça cela fait au moins 10 ans et je crois que cela restera de la fiction

La cosa straordinaria è stata la gentilezza dello staff. Hanno esaudito tutte le nostre richieste. Ringrazio tanto tutti ma specialmente ( credo sia ) il proprietario. Di una gentilezza esagerata. E poi la vista, al mattino aprire la finestra e trovarsi davanti la maestosità delle piramidi non ha prezzo. Quasi niente

• Virginie (8/5): Top - L'emplacement du Mak pyramid view est vraiment top. C'est un hôtel authentique. Tout n'est pas parfait mais à moins de 20 euros la nuit en demi-pension, c'est un très bon rapport qualité prix. Nous avons été surclassés gratuitement avec une chambre vue sur les pyramides alors que nous avions réservé une autre chambre. Pas de buffet mais un petit déjeuner servi à table. La demi-pension est correcte et bien pratique le soir lorsqu'on rentre d'excursion. J'ai particulièrement apprécié le mini bar approvisionné en eau et boisssons (payantes). Ce que j'ai apprécié plus que tout c'est la vue sir les pyramides de la chambre et de la salle de restaurant. J'aurais pu dire le bruit de la rue mais dormant avec des boules qu'ils, ça ne m'a pas dérangée. C'est à savoir tout de même.

Er hat uns stets geholfen und sogar Begleitet, wenn wir unsicher waren. Die Organisation von Guides und Trips war fantastisch. Für uns war es einfach toll, da es sich mehr Anfühlte bei freunden zu Besuch zu sein als dass man in einem Hotel wohnt. Die Lautstärke von Kairo ist enorm und nicht zu Unterschätzen... mir viel es manchmal schwer zu schlafen, da ich es deutlich ruhiger gewöhnt bin. Dies liegt aber nicht am Hotel

Zawsze uśmiechnięty, pomocny i dobrze zna język angielski. Zachowanie szefa, stresowało personel. Gburowaty typ, wiecznie niezadowolony. Do kolacji które były w cenie hotelu, na koniec doliczył płatne herbaty, o czym nie wiedzieliśmy.

La pulizia sopratutto,il rumore dalla strada, ristrutturazione fatta male era tutto non funzionante rotto e pieno di muffa,varietà di cibo adatta agli occidentali anche se ci hanno provato. Il resto dello staff e il proprietario non sono stati cordiali e non c'era modalità di dialogo. Non rifanno la camera se non richiesto.

• micromax62 (10/5): Preis Leistung einfach Top - Wir wurden wie Familien Mitglieder versorgt, aufgenommen und betreut. Das Essen frisch zubereitet und wirklich authentisch und sehr lecker. Wir haben absolute Gastfreundschaft erlebt. Vom Hotel kann man die Pyramiden und auch das GM sehen. Mit Uber kostet es nicht einmal zwei Euro zum Museum, das ca 4 km entfernt ist mit dem Auto. Man muss sich darauf einstellen, das man nicht in ein fünf Sterne Hotel wohnt, sondern mitten im ägyptischen Alltag. Das war aber von uns keine Kritik sondern eine neue Erfahrung und ein Hinweis für andere Besucher. Das wichtigste für uns, wir haben sehr gut geschlafen.

• Roy (1/5): Avoid this lot of scammers. - We never actually got to this hotel. We were met at the airport by a man who said he was Hany, and one other. In the car en route, Hany said that the e Mak Pyramids View was experiencing electrical problems, and we would be taken to a different hotel, which he would not name. He would not elaborate on the electrical problems. He did say that the hotel we were being taken to was also owned by them, whoever they are. The Gaza Strip inspired building we were taken to is apparently called the Great Museum View Hotel, formerly the Pyramuse and goodness knows what else. This is a dump. It’s on the eighth floor of a former apartment building which is in a state of dereliction. We were brought to “Reception”, where Hany said he would leave us and return in the morning. When we asked when the electrical problems would be fixed, he shrugged and said “Maybe tomorrow or later.” He seemed keen to leave. The room had two dirty beds with stained linen, two dirty hand towels, one curtain one fridge and one broken wardrobe. The bathroom had a smelly toilet and a shower that was broken. The view was of a piece of waste ground, home to street dogs and vagrants and a lot of dumped rubbish. I complained to the man at reception, who came in and as he “fixed “ the shower, the tap came off in his hand. This man also brought us some food in the form of some rice and chicken which was stone cold. We declined. No sleep was had. Thank God for the vodka we bought at the duty free. I sent a message to Hany informing him that we would not be staying in this establishment any more than one night. He replied saying he would be back about 0930 the next morning. 0930 came and went, so we took our luggage to Reception. I told the man there, who had broken English (still better than my Arabic), that we were leaving, and asked where Hany was. He didn’t seem to know, but did say that the man who had brought us was Ahmed, and he would be back at 1600. We walked out. Didn’t see the Mak Pyramids View, but judging by very recent reviews, it’s being mis sold. Beware. Also don’t cancel with Booking, ever. They will take the money anyway.

• Bernat (9/5): - Fabulosa atenció de l'amic Hany, sempre disposat a ajudar dins l'hotel i també assessorar amb les excursions. Em van oferir l'habitació amb balcó i vistes a les piràmides, i també vam poder pujar al terrat per gaudir de les vistes. La ubicació és molt bona per visitar les piràmides i el nou museu. Faltaria una mica més d'interacció amb la resta del personal, potser degut a la barrera idiomàtica o personalitat. També estaria bé informar o proposar amb antelació en què consisteix l'esmorzar o el sopar.

El transporte tambien era caro 35USD por ejmplo desde Go-Bus al hotel tomando en consideracion que desde el aeropuerto me cobraron 25USD al hotel

• Sofia (9/5): - Avevamo prenotato una camera con vista città, ma lo staff é stato gentilissimo e ci ha fatto l’upgrade alla camera vista piramidi, bellissima. Posizione ottima se si vogliono visitare le piramidi, che distano 10 minuti a piedi. Colazione abbondantissima e staff molto molto gentile e disponibile.

• Alberto (10/5): CONSIDERED DONE - Il soggiorno al Mak è stato favoloso. Posizione ottimale, vicino a tutti i siti archeologici. Vista spettacolare direttamente sulle Piramidi. Colazioni e pasti a richiesta, però non ci hanno mai fatto mancare niente. Abbiamo delle menzioni speciali da fare: 1. Hany, nonché gestore dell’hotel, factotum, uomo del CONSIDERED DONE. Ogni nostro desiderio prendeva forma, con puntualità e dedizione. 2. Moustapha, detto anche Ali Babá, giovane cameriere con grande senso dell’umorismo, nonché braccio destro del sopra citato Hany. 3. Cuoche e cameriere, gentili e sempre sorridenti. 4. Hassein, il capitano silenzioso che ci ha accolti al check-in ed ha capito le nostre richieste grazie a Google Traduttore. Non per loro colpe, ma la zona è molto rumorosa dovuto al traffico, ma comunque abbiamo sempre dormito come dei grandi.

• Hind (4/5): Une très grande déception !!😞 - Absolument rien photos mensongères impossible d’accéder au pyramide à pied. L’hôtel en tant que tel est à peu près propre. Mais la fameuse entrée est deguelasse et fait peur on a été accueilli par 5 chiens sauvage tout était deguelasse. Je ne peux pas parler d’hôtel car c’est un mensonge c’est un appartement avec plusieurs chambres appartement sur deux étages les chambres sont en bas au 4 ieme sinon c’est bel et bien un viel immeuble du Caire tout délabrer. Mention spéciale pour le déjeuné médiocre pour ne pas le décrire par autre chose nous finissions de déjeuner à l’extérieur. Évidemment demi pension une vrai arnaque ne la prenez surtout pas en faite fuyez et ne réservez pas dans cet hôtel !!!! Tout
• Marco (9/5): Welcoming, clean and safe - We stayed as a family of 5, the room was spacious and the hot water was working well. There is a view on the pyramids from the restaurant area and from the balcony of our room. I have see the other rooms have even better rooms on the pyramids from their balcony, so that is indeed a plus of this hotel. They plan to finish the floor above from which the view will be absolutely impressive. The staff is very welcoming and not pushing at all, ready to help when anything is requested. The dogs that are mentioned in other reviews are not wild, they are street dogs yes, but absolutely trained and do not disturb you when getting out of the hotel. Of course, everything is proportional with the cost and the price-quality offer is absolutely great, as long as the price is right and you realise for the price you cannot get 4* hotel. For us it was absolutely perfect, dinner is good and breakfast excellent. Hany in particular is very dedicated and communicative, sharing graciously information and advice. We ended up not using their tour services because I managed to arrange privately but the prices were honest and transparent, I have no doubt I would recommend this hotel and would go back with my family if in Cairo again.

From arranging our meals to providing little treats and gifts, from helping us navigate Giza to coordinating our arrival and departure, to making the best excursions happen, he truly made our holiday. The rest of the staff is kind but speaks no English. It would have been nice to interact with everyone

• Tatiyan (8/5): Great location! - My stay at Mak Pyramids was very good. The free breakfast and dinner were both filling. The location was great due to its closeness to the pyramids. The staff was very accommodating and even gifted me with a papyrus at the end of my stay.

• Irina (9/5): - Wir haben uns wohl und sicher gefühlt. Frühstück und Abendessen waren gut und sättigend. Der Manager Hany hat auch unsere Wünsche, z.B. nach Joghurt oder Obst, schnell erfüllt. Er hat auch die private Tour für uns nach Sakkara, Memphis und Dhaschur zu fairem Preis organisiert. Zum Haupteingang zu den Gizeh Pyramiden waren es nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß.

• Benedetto (7/5): Overall great price and nice view or pyramids and great help from Hany - Nice View of the pyramids, Hany was always obliging in helping in any way possible, arranging transport, excursions, giving us local treats to try, like Egyptian mango and guava and bakery food. Fridge in room with water and soft drinks. Room had air con too, which was great. The surroundings of the hotels were a bit run down, work was going on in an empty spare of ground, just outside our balcony, it looks they were going to build a new Hotel so hopefully this will improve overall area appearance. If you have early excursions booked give yourself a bit extra time as early breakfast can be a bit slow. The rooms don't have wardrobes or chest of drawers for storage so if staying a few days might need to live out of the case. You need to ask to get your room service and leave key otherwise it won't get done. Breakfast no choice but filling and can be quite repetitive if staying a few days.

Всегда на связи, поможет по любым вопросам. Угостил нас местным манго, было очень вкусно и очень приятно! Wi-fi хорошо ловит. Завтраки и ужины очень вкусные и сытные. Спасибо за гостеприимство.

In particolare Hany è stato super disponibile e amichevole, ci ha organizzato il trasporto dall'aeroporto e due tour organizzati che sono stati stupendi e con guide in italiano molto preparate. Un ottimo soggiorno. Vista piramidi dalla camera e Hany ci ha fatto vedere anche il terrazzo panoramico. Cibo buono, ci hanno offerto anche frutta locale e spremute. Camera con l'essenziale e con aria condizionata, pulita. Se lo chiedi ti puliscono la stanza anche nei giorni successivi, ma hanno bisogno del permesso e non lo fanno in automatico. Reception presente h24. In camera c'è anche frigo con acqua e bibite a basso prezzo. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Sappiate che Il Cairo è una città caotica (e inquinata) ed è rumorosa anche di notte. La città è abbastanza degradata, quindi anche i palazzi e l'hotel esternamente. La pulizia non è come da standard europei, ma qua nell'hotel si vede che ci tengono alla pulizia. Cibo buono ma ripetitivo e non c'è possibilità di scelta.

Chambre propre, spacieuse, bien équipée avec en plus bouilloire et petit frigo (très appréciable pour avoir des boissons bien fraîches en saison chaude). Literie confortable. Bon fonctionnement de la climatisation. Petit déjeuner correct avec une très belle vue sur les Pyramides. Accueil très sympathique. L'ensemble du personnel a été très agréable. Nous avons plus particulièrement apprécié Hani (en espérant ne pas trop se tromper sur le prénom) qui nous a donné de très bons conseils et a été toujours très disponible pour nous. A la fin de notre séjour, il nous a réservé un taxi pour nous rendre à l'aéroport. Tout était parfait. Pour nous rendre au Centre ville nous avons pris le taxi il faut compter environ 30 minutes pour un prix de l'ordre de 5 €. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement. Encore un très grand merci pour l'accueil. Tout était parfait.

Abbiamo , tramite la struttura, prenotato sia il taxi da / per l'aeroporto che l'escursione per la piramidi Tutto perfetto! Ci siamo sentiti molto a nostro agio. L'ultimo giorno, avendo il volo in tarda serata, ci hanno lasciato la stanza per l'intera giornata cosa molto comoda e molto apprezzata che ci ha permesso di sfruttare la giornata senza il pensiero della valigia. Colazione e cena poco varia senza possibilità di scelta. Cibo locale che comunque abbiamo apprezzato. Non sono previsti tovaglioli e il bere durante la cena, neanche l'acqua che portavamo dalla stanza

Čo sa týka izieb, no neohuria, ani nesklamú.. na prespatie dobre. Lokalita. Schodisko strašne smrdí.. ale výťahom sa dá ísť v pohode.

• Ulanova (10/5): On reviendra! - Nous avons pris une demi-pension et nous n'avons pas regretté: la cuisine est delicieuse! L'hotel est très bien placé, avec la vue sur les pyramides... Le personnel est d'une gentillesse incroyable, tout le monde etait au petits soins, le chef d'équipe, Hanni, est super! Pour les visites , l'hotel nous a proposé le taxi climatisé, nous etions accompagné par Mohamed, le guide francophone et ça c'est très bien passé. On reviendra!
• Besír (7/5): - Szép szoba, részleges kilátással a piramisokra. Összességében van segítőkész személyzet. Nagyon várták a borravalót, a transzfert is nagyon drágán intézték, olyannyira, hogy Magyarországon is olcsóbb lett volna. A piramisokra való kilátás csak a szoba egy szegmenséből elérhető, amúgy egy romtelepre néznek a szobák teli patkánnyal, kutyákkal, utcán alvó emberekkel. Reggeli nincs kirakva, hanem valamit kihoznak, azt tudja az ember enni, és a konyhát sem lehet látni, el van dugva mindenki elől.

A special thanks goes to Hany at the reception - an incredibly kind and helpful person. We met on my first day, and he was always there to assist, support, and guide me, making sure my stay was as comfortable as possible. People like him are rare, and his attitude truly makes this place feel like home. The hotel itself is wonderful: very affordable, yet offering a stunning view of the Pyramids. It is honestly the best value for money you can find near such a world wonder. Rooms are clean, the staff is attentive, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Breakfast and dinner are included in the price - tasty and satisfying, which is perfect after a long day of exploring. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Giza who wants to combine comfort, excellent service, and a reasonable price. I am sure that everyone who stays here will be more than satisfied with their choice. There's nothing not to like! A wonderful hotel and wonderful people who work there!

• Hernan G. (10/5): Monumental - El personal dispuesto a ayudar con lo que sea necesario, las habitaciones grandes y con mucho confort y diversidad de iluminación. Los desauyos y la cena muy buena. La ubicación es cerca de las pirámides para llegar a pie de modo fácil. Destaco una vez mas que el personal estaba diapuesto a ayudar en todo momento y haciendo que uno sienta del hotel y sus instalaciones, la propia casa. Sin dudas que si un dia vuelvo o tengo que recomendar, será aquí. La verdad en relación precio-calidad fue sorprendente. No hubo nada que no me haya gustado.

Si trova al quinto piano di un palazzo con ascensore in un quartiere populare a quanto pare pero molto accogliente con gente per bene. La vista sulle piramidi sia dalla stanza che dar ristorante era mozzafiato. Il cibo era tipico egiziano molto abbondante e buonissimo. Il staf e sempre stato a disposizione per qualsiasi bisogno. NON SONO INVADENTI A OFFRIRE TUR.

C’è molta attenzione al cliente, ne è la prova il fatto che hanno preparato una camera con cigni e palloncini per accoglierci al nostro arrivo Molto bella la vista delle piramidi dal balcone. Se si ha l’esigenza offrono un servizio di transfer da/per l’aeroporto del Cairo e tour guidati ai siti di interesse del posto Posizione comoda per raggiungere le piramidi in circa 15 minuti a piedi ma zona non “tranquillissima”

Siamo stati accolti e trattati come a casa, e Hani ci ha organizzato con un sovrapprezzo una giornata guidata a Il Cairo, con driver e guida molto preparata. Siamo stati molto bene! A primo impatto il palazzo e la zona non è delle migliori, ma non c’è niente di pericoloso e inoltre è a 10 minuti dalle piramidi. Unica pecca che le colazioni e le cene sono sempre uguali

Para quem quer visitar as pirâmides mas também absorver a vivência egípcia real do Cairo recomendo. Tendo em conta a realidade egípcia. Não me posso queixar de nada. O hotel não é facilmente visível pois está integrado num prédio normal. Nada de estranho para a realidade egípcia. No entanto dificulta a sua localização, mesmo para os taxistas. Levem o número de telefone do hotel e peçam ao taxista para ligar e ver onde fica se ele não souber.

• chaimae (10/5): Best value of money in Giza without any doubt - It’s the best value of money in Giza without any doubt. The staff was super friendly and accommodating especially mr Hani. They offered us a bigger room with a great view on the pyramids. The room was clean and comfortable .I liked the breakfast .it was nutritious ( foul, falafel , eggs , coffee or tea , bread , jam) .The dinner was good as well (fried chicken , juice , salad , Tahina sauce , pickled vegetables). The location is great if you want to visit the pyramids as it’s very near to the ticket office (10 min walking ). Highly recommended ! Thank you mr Hany and the staff.
