- Milena (5/5): Dusty - The location was nice, close by a very lovely cafe just across the street. The staff were pleasant also. The room was VERY dusty, felt like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Shared bathroom was ok but just expected more for the price. Disappointing. But for my first 2 nights in Sydney it was manageable.
- Nick (10/5): -
- Shure (9/5): Enjoy the vibe - The staff and people around - regulars Parking situation, but I was lucky due to the friendly stuff pointing out a hidden gem I wouldn't have found otherwise - free parking all day/night
- Rik (5/5): Ok, great location. - Mcmahons Point area and the hotel is close to the water. No lounge or sitting area to have a quiet chill outside your room.
- Frances (6/5): - Hotel closed overnight till 11.00am. Breakfast nearby. Location near elderly friends. A Glass in the room. Small table
- Ashley (8/5): good - goos value
- Andrea (8/5): Great location to explore Sydney from with a small budget. - Great location, room is clean and good. Bus next door and walking distance from ferry to get to the city. No noise from the pub below. Good value for money. Despite minus points still like it. No airco. Shared mini kitchen not clean, noisy and smelly. Shared 2 toilets and showers clean but vintage. Painting in shared spaces some points coming off the walls.

- Esteban (10/5): Very good quiet option with great value for money - The Spanish guy who helped me during check-in was very kind and informative, which made the arrival very easy. I also really liked the comfort of the beds and the overall cleanliness of the place.
- Robert (8/5): -
- Emma (4/5): Below basic, very hot and disappointing - Location No aircon, unclean. Very outdated shares bathroom.
- Marg (8/5): Perfect for a quick one night stay. - Great Location. Clean and comfortable. I chose the shared bathroom and this was nice and clean and easily accessed as it was close to my room. Very good value for money. Stairs only. The spotlight from a neighbouring property that was going on and off all night.
- Bilal (1/5): So bad - No thing So bad
- Tracey (1/5): No air conditioning, dirty, avoid this hotel! - Location only. Other than that it was terrible No air conditioning, dirty, shabby and a complete rip off!! Not worth the money !
- Alex (1/5): Disappointing - No air conditioning in the room, Cracked plaster on the walls. No wardrobe, just some knobs on the wall and some very second hand coat hangers. Considering the cost of $350 per night, I don't think hit was good value!
- Mohamed Amirul Shahludin (8/5): -
- RayYogi (9/5): Excellent location and very comfortable - We have stayed here several times now and love it.
- Catherine (10/5): Very enjoyable and convenient - Bar staff - lady was very friendly and helpful NA
- jennifer (10/5): Just like I thought it would be, great! - Great old pub, very convenient location. Very clean. Really smiley, welcoming bar staff. Lacking power points!
- Marlies (8/5): Goede prijs-kwaliteit - Ruime kamer, netjes. Goed bed.
Vriendelijk personeel beneden in café-restaurant en prima eten.
Prima buurt. Afstand naar centrum valt erg mee. Geen dubbele beglazing, dus je hoorde het, overigens beperkte, verkeer wel erg goed.
- Pauline (7/5): Suitable for our needs and likely to return - Location and cleanliness of room Needs a wardrobe to hang and store your clothes. Perhaps also consider supplying tea and coffee facilities as well as glasses for a drink of water.
- Thomson (10/5): - The people. They were kind and accommodating.
- Glenn (10/5): -
- Fiona (6/5): Good location needs a refresh - Good location for my party Wifi non existent and not air conditioned. No hanging space or mini bar and paint peeling off the wall
- Andrew (7/5): -
- Andrew (3/5): Poorly run, budget hotel, masquerading as something more. - Location Recently renovated, however already looking poorly maintained. Poor water pressure, provided soap was an econo sized bottle on the shower floor. A bed and, one armchair and two bedside tables are the only furniture, no table or cupboard. Hooks on the wall served as somewhere to hang clothes. No internal fridge, kettle, coffee etc. The room seems to be above the very noisy ventilation fan, which runs all night. To top it off we arrived after hours and were not provided check in instructions or a means to get our key. There was no after hours number. We had to find somewhere else to sleep at midnight.
- Elena (7/5): Fine place - Comfortable spacious room, nice area, 10 min walking to metro or ferry. Although shared, bathrooms are clean and functional. Haven’t seen anyone (no staff and no guests) in 4 days. Very nice little cafe across the road. No staff…if you have a question or inquiry there’s no one to assist you. I met an old gentlemen at the entrance not able to get his room key to check in from the key box, because its battery was off. That’s not nice

- PETER (7/5): A COMFORTABLE CLASSIC SYDNEY ART DECO PUB - The Blues Point Hotel is a classic Sydney art deco pub nicely located about half way between North Sydney station and McMahons Point ferry wharf. Both of these locations have good transport connections to central Sydney. I had asked for a quiet room and my allocated room 8 fitted that description. It also had a private balcony which was a nice bonus. The room was spacious and nicely decorated and the double bed was very comfortable. I had booked for 4 nights commencing on Boxing Day. Unfortunately the hotel - which is usually open daily from 11am to midnight - was closed on Boxing Day. The hotel had emailed to advise me that my keys would be in a locked box near the side door and had provided the box code. When I arrived at 2pm to check in I found that the box was not operating. Another guest was in the same boat. I tried to contact the hotel and could hear the allocated phone number ringing unanswered inside the locked hotel. My 3 text messages also went unanswered. In the circumstances I had to find another hotel for that night. It turned out that the battery was dead on the locked box. The following day I was able to pick up the keys at 11am when the hotel opened and I was given an immediate refund of 1 night's prepaid accommodation. However, the inconvenience was huge. Had it not been for this locked box debacle I would have given the Blues Point Hotel a score of 9.
- Holly (1/5): Not again - Rooms okay. Fan didn’t work in room. Toilets outdated. Couldn’t let me check in on desired day so spent an entire afternoon running around trying to find somewhere to sleep. Wasted money and time.
- Downs (7/5): Relaxed environment - Great location and large room and en-suite which was clean and bright. Early morning drilling from one of the neighboring rooms on one of the mornings.
- Deborah (8/5): Great location exceptional staff really good food - Great location
Exceptional staff
Good value Nothing
- Michael (7/5): Very pleasant - Bathrooms could maybe do with an update.
- Peter (6/5): -
- Matthew (5/5): -
- Smith (7/5): - Location, price, conveinent. No air/con. Noisy outside. No mini bar.
- Jones (9/5): -
- Ross (8/5): Next time we stay it will be during the week when its a bit quiter - Nice pub great location The streets noise has increased over the past 3 years since we started to stay at Blues Point Hotel. There are hoons in noisy cars and bike racing up and down the road at all hours of the night, mainly on Thursday to Saturday nights untill 2am. One way the hotel could address this would be to install air con in the rooms so you can close the window. There hoons definatly needs to be address by the Council and police as it must be hell for the residents.
- Jennifer (10/5): Fabulous location, comfortable accommodation and at a reasonable price. - Rooms were very well maintained. Fans and windows that open instead of aircon. Friendly, helpful staff. Easy to walk to ferry terminal or North Sydney plus a bus stop right outside door of hotel. Within easy walking distance of cafes, restaurants and small supermarkets. Hotel is an historic building and retains its character. Lots of good local walks. A larger kitchen would have been great but it was adequate for storing food and making a cuppa. Also had a microwave.
A few extra coathangers in the rooms would be helpful.
- Chiraag (8/5): - Customer Service
- vasquez (10/5): -
- Tsuneko (8/5): Comfortable place - Comfortable quiet room. There are not many restaurants and supermarkets near by.
- Jackson (5/5): Lovely building, great spot - accommodation could be a lot better - Location's great and wasn't noisy - even on a Saturday night; pleasant room - albeit sparse. The room didn't have a wardrobe, ironing board, hairdryer, table or toiletries. Shared bathrooms were barely passable. There were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room - but a kettle in a kitchenette down the hall. Pub food - could have been a lot better, especially for the price.
- Michael (10/5): Great business hotel close to North Sydney and public transport - Great room at a fair price close to North Sydney office precinct with a traditional food menu which was very tasty Nothing
- JeanT0 (8/5): Bon rapport qualité prix - Chambres agréables situées au-dessus du pub, qui ferme vers 11h. Lit confortables, WC et douches partagées sont propres et fonctionnels. Beau bâtiment de style.
- The Bostralian (10/5): - great pub and location
- Crane (7/5): -
- Matt (10/5): -
- Kristen (4/5): - Bed was comfortable No air con and no fly screens made for an uncomfortable night. Price was much more than I would have expected to pay for this standard of accomodation.

- Hui (6/5): It was okay for a short stay. - The location is convenient, near to ferry, so it’s easy go to the city. The room is clean and has a warm fan. The bathroom is shared and not clean, the facilities are old. The shower head is very high, water split everywhere. It doesn’t have a chair in the room. A bit noisy as well.

- Peter (1/5): Bad - Less than zero - because I didn't get any accommodation at all. I want to know why booking.comlists a venue that lies to its customers and takes their money for nothing & leaves them stranded at midight with nowhere to stay See above. Waiting for answers.
