• Darren (5/5): I will never pay up front again - The room was ok ..? If it was $120pr night The outside rundown you could see in to the store room as you entered the premises total disarray ! A smash car in the carport parked that just screams Welcome “ no garden maintenance old cctv camera wires haggling behind the foyer door that was a bit creepy .The out door furniture was filthy not a professional setup at all . Water pressure was poor the room wasn’t ready on arrival as soon as we arrived I was ready to leave !! Drove past’s it four time couldn’t believe that was the place for $260 a night Tried to find another accommodation surrounding locations Unfortunately it was a long weekend .. we didn’t have a choice ! SO I gave it the nickname HOTEL California We were trapped ! (Money up front and nowhere to go) For the money if available could have stayed in a water front cabin out the gate and on the beach. Very Disappointed BOOKING.COM Not what we expected from the photos !!

• Nicky (7/5): Was very easy and a good spot near the town and beach - Location to Birrubi beach, which was great. Bacon good and pizza shop next door. Very clean and easy Nothing
• Tanya (10/5): Great weekend away - The property is spacious and quiet.The airconditiiong works well. Its close to shops and the Tavern and there's a lot to see and do. The hosts are very lovely.

• Cassandra (5/5): For the rate we expected more in the basics. - The little extras in the kitchen were well appreciated for the teens with me. Hot chocolate pods, herbal teas and breakfast cereals. The tv didn’t work at all. There was no bedding for the sofa bed despite booking for 3 persons. And hot water shower in morning had next to no water pressure.

• Luciana (9/5): Lovely place, close to everything you need! - Very well located, close to everything and fair walking distance of the sand activities I felt it was a bit pricy but in general, everything was nice, clean and good service
• Elany (10/5): Excellent value for money! - Loved everything about this place. From the plants, the outdoor area, the nice touches from the pantry items, and the decor. That I only stayed 1 night. I will be booking more nights here in the future.

• Bob (6/5): Overall we were disappointed and would look elsewhere if staying in the area again - The room was spacious, clean and had a comfy bed. it is located close to the pub and cafes and the beach is 10 minutes drive away. The unit is up two flights of stairs; the shower had poor water pressure and there was nowhere in the bathroom to put toiletries or hang towels and clothes. In the kitchenette, minimum crockery and cutlery was provided and it all seemed to be from KMart. The passage to the owner's family residence passed directly outside the main windows. While there was no issue, curtains had to be kept closed if you wanted privacy. They do not take credit cards and you have to pay cash.
