• Amanda (8/5): Very good - Good location, close to bus stop and shops Bus to train was great to get to the city Apartment was well set out and comfy for the 3 of us No shower door made it a little awkward to avoid too much water going on the floor. At the front door there was no way to simply latch the door locked from the inside in event one person went out without the other. You either locked them in with the key or got locked out yourself if they used the slip locks that were there. Aside from that it was a great place to stay

• Vijaya (4/5): I won’t recommend the place to my friends - The shower did not have a door hence the entire bathroom was soaking wet after a shower. The shower head was leaking all night with water dripping constantly. The WiFi did not work one bit. There was no fan in a bed room (not even a pedestal fan) and it was hot at night. He was kind to let us do an early check in. That is greatly appreciated.

Would highly recommend it. - Location was superb, so much space, very quiet I hate being negative but just a couple of things that could be added to make it perfect 1) a portable air con unit for the bedrooms there was a fan but that wasn’t very very good. 2) USB plug sockets throughout the property.

• Dawn (10/5): Clean, convenient, great place to call home. - It was spacious enough for us, a family of 4 adults. Very clean, and kitchen had all of the necessities needed to cook some meals. Bus stops close by grocery and restaurants just a few minutes walk away. Beach walk promenade also within a few blocks. Great location. Owners very responsive to our needs, and followed up quickly with some house items when asked. Thank you!!

Could do with a better clean but it is nice for its size - Location was perfect for what we needed Very loud creaking floorboards when walking on them. We had to be up at 4am each day and it was hard to be quiet and not wake up the people in the unit above.

• Judith (10/5): This was home from home, reasonably priced with good public transport links into the city. - This well furnished two bedroom apartment was perfect for four family members with a lovely lounge / dining and kitchen area. The hosts have been great for any query. Clean and very homely. Would definitely stay again. This didn’t bother us but about 30 minute walk to train station (or get a bus) for a then 30 minute train ride into the city. Lovely area in its own right though.
• James (8/5): A nice place with good facilities - if you can find it - The apartment was nice, clean and everything we needed for an overnight stay. Location was good but only slightly meters away from a busy main road - however road noise wasn't an issue and we found street parking nearby which was free. We spent 30 minutes trying to locate the apartment and the lock box - as the address we were given was not displayed on the exterior of any buildings there. The apartment was in a building with a different street number visible on the building than we were given. We tried calling the hosts for assistance but it went to voicemail. We eventually located the apartment and lock box by walking through the outside gardens and potentially encroaching on the wrong people's apartments and for a short while there we thought we had been scammed as we could not locate the property with the street number we were given.

• Andrew (9/5): I would highly recommend Peaceful Getaway to anyone - The place was really good. The towels in the bathroom were fabulous (I want some)and the location was close to shops including IGA RSL places to eat and beach plus the advantage of bus 947 stop near the corner of Walmer street There were no negatives but I am satisfied if there were any problems then Mario and Rebecca would have remedied any situation

• Louis (10/5): Exceptional - I loved everything about this place! Extremely comfortable and clean, well-equipped and a lovely sense of being at home as soon as you walk in. Great location - walking distance to town and the ocean, but far enough to live up to its name of being a 'peaceful getaway.'
• Sam (8/5): Very good - I had a very short overnight stay and found the place to have a nice vibe to it, clean & tidy and had lots of street parking. 15 minutes to the shire & 15 minutes to the eastern suburbs. The host were very quick in replying to my queries and helping out.
• Annette (8/5): Over all I did like the unit it was very comfortable and a great location - Great location close to shops and beach The bathroom needs more work. The drain in the shower has sunken below tile level and I was worried I would cut my foot on the tile. ( I’ don’t though) Also the 3 tier sliding door on the shower separates and is hard to use Finally the key lock location was quite difficult for older less agile person to open I would suggest moving it to a wall location or even the top rail ( perhaps behind the palms?)
• Joshua (10/5): ABSALOUTLEY AMAZING - The property was absaloutley one of the best home stays I have been hosted at ..from the fantastic communication and very helpful owner and the very simple check in procedure, there was so many positives as soon as you enter the apartment the vibe was very nice, it's situated in a very convenient location close to tavern cafes and 2 minutes to the beach . I absaloutley loved that the property came stocked with plenty of little things that make a huge impact including shampoo conditioner toiletry coffee milk a huge smart tv with Netflix and all streaming services The wifi has excellent service and the lounge was long and so comfortable perfect for a great night in , the proper also has fantastic heating and cooling system the bathroom is not the most modern but when you jump in the shower 🚿 with it's 7 speed change head and steamy hot water supply modernisation of the bathroom will not be on your mind as there are too many rights to dwell on something so miniscule The bedroom contains a large queen bed plenty of towels and extra linen it was extremely comfortable Overall this place is definitely the perfect place for a couple of a solo travelling buisness or family It surpassed my expectations and was a delightful experience I definitely recommend this apartment i definitely will be a staying there every time I require accommodation Thanks to the staff and property manager Mario for restoring my faith in quality apartments that still exist it was a blast No negative honestly
