My unit was on the 8 th floor The lifts in the building are in a chaotic condition.One lift door opens with no floor.There you go , eight floors down the shaft and mourning relatives back home.Pay a little more and get yourself a functional apartment. The bad condition of the building.

I paid for a private apartment since I have friends in Cairo and the owner told me that I could not receive visitors, if you rent an apartment people have a private space. In order not to receive visitors I stay in a hostel! Everything else is fine

• Maria (5/5): Nice apartment but I won’t stay there anymore because of landlords behaviour - Simple but nice apartment. Comfortable bed, spacious bedroom, big terrace with the busy Cairo street view (which I actually liked). Clean towels and many pillows. Well, that’s gonna be one hell of a review… Landlord isn’t very responsive. I also need to say it out loud, since such behaviour is unacceptable in my opinion. One day I came back to apartment around 4:30am. I think landlord stays next door, yet I am not sure. 5 minutes after my return I got a WhatsApp message from landlord which I didn’t manage to read before it was deleted. The following message said “I was about to do something stupid, but I backed out”. To be very honest it creeped me out and I didn’t feel comfortable in this place anymore. Also on my first day a weasel run into my apartment through the hole under the door (8th floor!) and immediately run away when I moved. I learned later they live on a streets of Cairo.

• Koichiro (10/5): 自炊出来る方には最高の一部屋。 - 旧市街の入り口で、地下鉄駅まで徒歩5分、宮殿まで徒歩10分の素晴らしいロケーションです。大きな道から一本入った場所であり、且つ8階にあるため、静かに過ごすことが出来ました。キッチンも電子レンジが備えられており、十分自炊することが出来ました。 この部屋が存在する8階は、エレベータのボタンが壊れており、降りる事は出来るのですが乗る事が出来なかった点が挙げられます。

• Kevin Stefano (1/5): EVITEN RESERVAR EN ESTE LUGAR!!! - Nada Para empezar, el edificio donde se encontraba el departamento era realmente espantoso, parecía abandonado, las ventanas estaban rotas y los ascensores parecían que iban desplomarse. Al momento de hacer el check in, no pudimos hacerlo porque no estaba disponible nuestra habitación y tampoco nos dieron otra solución más que esperar, nos hicieron perder el tiempo yendo a otro hotel del mismo propietario solo para darnos agua y hacernos esperar cuando ya teníamos un tour reservado (al cual claramente llegamos tarde). Recién pudimos ingresar a nuestra habitación a las 6 pm, la cual estaba sucia, el baño tenía pelos y no habían cambiado el papel higiénico, las sábanas tenían manchas y pelos, y la cocina tenía muebles y vajilla rota. El propietario no siempre contestaba los mensajes a nuestros reclamos o pedidos, y tampoco tuvo la decencia de realizar el check in por su cuenta como así tampoco el check out. No había recepción, por lo que, mientras estábamos en el tour, nuestras valijas quedaron al “cuidado” de una persona que se encontraba ahí, quien nos recibió y entregó la llave del departamento. No lo recomendaríamos en absoluto, ni volveríamos a reservar aquí.

• Joan (10/5): Immerse yourself in the spirit of Cairo. - It is very clean, very comfortable bed , the bathroom has been completely renewed. It was very in the center of downtown, metro station ,etc. It has WiFi connection. The elevators are very old and not always were perfectly working, but it is not something new in center of Cairo, the porters were assisting you straight away to use the elevator.where all buildings are pretty aged.The kitchen needs to be renewed,but even though it was working fine.

• JOSE MANUEL (10/5): Big, cheap and great location - El apartamento es grande, el baño es gigantesco al igual que la habitación y la cocina y con una terraza magnifica. Esta equipado básicamente, pero con todo lo necesario para tu estancia. Totalmente recomendable.

• Artur (6/5): I saw the life of normal people in Cairo, I tried juicy and aromatic fruits. I saw the heart of Cair - the location was good for me. it was the center of old cairo. Egyptian Museum, Nil. On foot it took me 30 minutes. I saw the lives of normal people. you can see places where an ordinary tourist doesn't go. you have to want to see it. I will not judge it, because I wanted to see the life of Egyptian citizens. Everyone who decides to visit this place will have the opportunity to see it and evaluate it in their own way. This place is for undemanding people.

• Yuhan (10/5): What a fantastic stay!!! - The studio was awesome! The location is great, close to everything! The room is spacious and so pretty. Bedding is sooo comfy, bathroom super clean, kitchen is so handy for a quick meal. The balcony is def the best spot to watch sunset with a cup of tea. The host is very very very friendly and helpful! The communication went super well. I really enjoyed the stay and from now on this is def the top choice for me in downtown Cairo.

Also the studio is spacious compared to others, has a newley renovated toilet, with decent furniture too! Overall was great stay and value for money. Stuff Location Balcony
