• Alexander (6/5): Misleading Booking, Poor Hygiene, No Refund - The location was great — close to everything we needed, yet quiet and peaceful at night. The bed linen was clean and fresh, and the towels smelled nice and felt soft. The apartment was overall in good condition, and we appreciated the modern kitchen — it had everything we needed to cook our own meals comfortably. Unfortunately, there were several things that disappointed us during our stay. We originally booked a room with a private bathroom, but just one day before arrival, we were informed that the room was no longer available due to a “system error.” As a result, we were placed in a room with shared bathrooms — three toilets and showers for 14 rooms. That’s nearly five-seven guests per bathroom, which is far from ideal. The cleanliness of the shared bathrooms was poor. The kitchen and our room were also not properly cleaned — the floor was dusty and not mopped. The overall hygiene level didn’t match the photos or description. To make things worse, the view from our window was of a messy backyard filled with post-renovation trash and debris — not pleasant at all. There were also loud guests in nearby rooms, and we had to ask them to lower their voices around 1 AM to get some rest. At the time of writing this review, we still haven't received the refund for the price difference, even though we have written proof from the staff promising compensation. Also, there was no air conditioning in the room, which made sleeping uncomfortable. For such accommodation, some cooling option should be provided. Overall rating: 2 out of 5. I cannot recommend this place unless major improvements are made.
• Ece (1/5): Horrible - Common area looks aesthetically pleasing when it’s sunny? Didn’t receive the check in instructions until the next morning. Couldn’t check in the first night, had to book another hotel. Reimbursement takes weeks. The common areas were not clean, especially the kitchen and the shower. Located at a bad neighborhood. The entrance looks like a horror house at night, with no signs whatsoever. Very cheap but isn’t worth the money.

I would’ve never thought a room could exist without air conditioning. There was spoiled food in the fridge and it smelled terrible. Some individuals were brushing their teeth in the kitchen sink, which was quite unhygienic and disturbing.

• Kye (4/5): Disappointing - The location is 5 minutes away from the metro, which makes heading downtown quite easy. There is a kitchen and washing machine. Overall, outside of the room, the shared spaces were not clean. Since the spaces are shared this could be expected, but they should be cleaned more often. The showers could definitely be cleaned more frequently. The dryer did not work properly and failed to heat up. The owner did not respond to our issues with the showers.
• Brenda (9/5): More like a hotel than a hostel! - This was the cheapest place for my own room and it really just felt like a hotel with shared bathrooms and a kitchen with 3 fridges. They even have towels and shampoo/body wash which is rare in a hostel! The rooms also had a hair dryer and a desk and chair and the hostel was extremely quiet. It's only a 25 minute walk to the central train station too! They also had free washing and drying machines! The dryer doesn't really get your clothes dry but I can't complain since it was free.

• Qiuyang (6/5): Staying one night or two is fine, but we stayed a whole week which is not great experience here. Little service, things - Old building can stay cool in the strong sunny days. Room can be too warm under the sun, but they provide a fan which is helpful. Has washing machine and dryer to do washes easily. Shower room is always blocked, everyday in seven days. The effort of making this place comfortable is quite minimal. Very little plugs in the room and located in not convenient places. We stay for a whole week, during this whole time no changing the towels or cleaning. I didn’t see any staff around.

• Hallie (7/5): Budget friendly option - Nice little room, has everything you need. Kitchen was well stocked and decently clean. Location wasn’t ideal, but relatively close to the metro/tram stops so it was perfect for us who were on a budget Bathrooms were disgusting. They need to be properly clean. Walls were covered in who knows what, hair on the sink & toilet, all of the drains clogged etc. I was confused because I did see someone cleaning rooms (switching sheets and what not) so not sure why they didn’t do the washrooms
• Elenazobird (8/5): Some comfort and cleaning issues - The apartment is cosy, bright, warm, and stylish. It has 3 showers and 5 toilets, which is very convenient for 13 rooms. The kitchen is decent and functional. The location is excellent for tourists—Billa supermarket is less than 100 meters away, and the underground station is just a 7-10 minute walk. In only four stops, you’re in the heart of the city, close to many attractions. If you head in the other direction, you’ll reach the Oberlaa thermal baths and a beautiful, expansive park—both perfect for relaxation. Highly recommended! Some Comfort and Cleanliness Issues The mattress was way too soft, making it uncomfortable to sleep. If you care about your back and spine, think twice before booking. There was dust under the bed and on the lamp, and the shower wasn’t very clean. Also, during our five-day stay, we didn’t see any staff at all. The check-in instructions were only sent after we called, which was inconvenient.

• Mel1ike (3/5): Never again - Staff was helpful. Understanding. This is a hostel guys- nothing to do with trendy convenient room and shared bathroom concept. The kitchen doesn't have a room so anything cooked, the smell ends up in the whole corridor so fills the room. The room had spider webs all around. The open shelves were covered with dust. The bed was broken due to over use. Overall, 3 months ago when I booked this place it had 8.5 score. I totally get why now it has fallen down! If you are below 25 yy and can handle problems above, this place is okey.
• Jorge (3/5): An experience I wouldn’t want to repeat - The room was fine The heating in the room was practically useless — I might as well have slept outside! The power outlets were ridiculously far from the bed, making it a challenge just to charge my phone. Sure, it’s nice that the place has a kitchen, but the refrigerators were a nightmare — filthy, smelly, and honestly, I was afraid to put anything inside. Out of the three bathrooms, only one shower worked properly. The other two flooded so badly it felt like I was standing in a swamp. Disgusting and definitely not what you’d expect when you’re just trying to take a shower. The laundry facilities were an absolute disaster. My clothes spent over three hours in the dryer and still came out damp. As if that wasn’t bad enough, on my last day, the stove suddenly locked itself, and I couldn’t cook. I tried to get help, but since communication is only through electronic messages, I got no response in time. I ended up leaving hungry, frustrated, and with a terrible impression of the place. Honestly, this place looks on when you first arrive, but by the time you leave, it’s just a complete mess.
• Van (8/5): Great place to stay in center Vienna - The appartement was easily accessible with public transit. Everything was clean upon arrival. Kitchen has everything you need, except for a microwave and an oven. The duvet felt quite thin, so I was a bit cold at night. Bathrooms often have a wet floor, which sometimes extends into the hallway, so bring slippers for inside if you don't like wet feet.

• Vladimir (8/5): Good value for money - The room was clean and near the bathrooms, which was a huge advantage. I couldn’t imagine living in the rooms that are on the other side, where you had to walk through the kitchen to get to the bathrooms. The kitchen had pans, a kettle, a toaster. It was easy to find the booking and easy to check in. Not all of the bathrooms were constantly clean and without water on the ground but that’s on the people staying. The thermostat was a little finicky to work with, we came into the room and it was set to 50 degrees Celsius. It was easy to fix. However sometimes the sensor thought that the window was open when it wasn’t, the only thing that helped was a factory reset. The sound proofing wasn’t the best as well.
• Jatta (6/5): Pleasant - The room is nice and kitchen is clean enough and there is good ampunt of cooking utensils! The bathrooms/showers are quite dirty and would need some regular cleaning. There is much dust and ”dirt” on the walls and floors. Because the showers are in the same room with toilets, the floor can be wet on the mornings and evenings. Also the rooms (especially the paintings) are a bit dusty. For the price of the accommodation, the facilities are good. Only the bathrooms lowered my score for the review. There is no recycling :(
• Metehan (6/5): Pleasant - the convenience of easy check-in. They put a thermostat in the room and try to heat it with it, and it takes 1-1.5 days to warm up. When you lie down on the bed it sinks in from the middle and it is very uncomfortable.
• Dimé (8/5): Mini quest - The room was very clean, it was very safe, and it had all the necessary shops around. Everything was done online, we didn't meet the host, we had instructions how to get to the room, how to get the key and all. Felt like a mini quest, which was welcomed. The boiler was leaking, and beneath it were the toilet papers, and some of them were wet from it. The kitchen and toilets were shared, but there were a couple of toilets so at least one was always available. The internet wasn't the fastest at times, but other guests were there as well, so it might have been preocupied.

Also, the next morning, we planned to check out at 11:00 since there was no exact checkout time mentioned in the description. However, at 10:00, a cleaner came to us and very rudely informed us that we had to leave immediately. Fortunately, we were able to arrange with the host to check out later, and we were given time until 10:40

• Katia (7/5): Good - We were surprised at first when we discovered that showers weren’t included in the room, actually we missed the info that it was hostel. Rooms were comfortable and we can adjust the temperature but the fact that shower is in the other part of apartment is disappointing. We had to cross the kitchen and corridor to take shower or even to just brush teeth. Also, hot water is only available in the morning. In general the value for money is good, it was just our inattention reading the description of this booking. The location is good, street is quiet. Neighbors were friendly. The thing that I don’t really like is that the place doesn’t seem to be safe. There is only one door (from the outside of apartment) that is actually locked, and when we checked they were opened. When you come in there is no other security, you just go upstairs and kitchen is there. Rooms got one key but the lock also is not as protected.

There are quite new furniture in the room and necessary amenities (lamps, hairdryer). Bathroom is also renewed and comfortable. clean bed sheets and towels. Previous guests in our room were smoking so there was a smell in the room. The surfaces in the room were dusty. One day there was a lack of toilet paper in the bathrooms.

• Anita (8/5): Well equipped rooms and friendly contacts - The room was small but equipped enough, clean and quiet. It was easy to find and reach and we easily found parking place on the street. We have got perfectly detailed instruction for the lockbox, no personal contact was needed - our contact via chat was superfriendly and helpful. The bed was unfortunately very uncomfortable, the mattress was highly overused, therefore we rolled into the middle hole - not the best nights.
• Vira (10/5): 2 days in Vienna - It was trevel together with my mother. The apartments have good localization, a lot of cafes and restorants not far from it. Subway U1 and tram as well very close. Very clean bedroom include 2 comfortable beds. On the floor 3 showers and 5 toilets - no crowds in morning. Place quite enough. Big kitchen with possibility to prepare breakfast.

• Krstic (9/5): Awesome stay - The location is mega, you're outside of all the noise but close to markets, restaurants and multiple ways of transportation that connect you to the city center in no time. Rooms were clean and cozy, and beds were super comfortable.Bathrooms were clean, there were plenty of them so one was always available. Common area got everything we needed and provided a nice space for socializing. Entrance to the building felt a bit weird

A few minutes by tram from downtown/inner Stadt - The room is spacious and clean Beds and sheets are comfortable It is decently close to tram and subway - quick walk And close to supermarkets and drugstores Located in a very quite and safe neighborhood (at least we felt very safe even at night) Missing a small refrigerator in the room to keep your personal food. We had a beer and Red Bull stollen from the shared refrigerator in the kitchen and some other people had wine stollen. The outside door failed to open in one morning but we were able to force it open! Hope it’s fixed now
