• c9b1dbae45ba7222f5fd87f1295a40d5 (8/5): Muy buena - Muy amables las personas que atienden y la dueña, y muy central. Excelente ubicación Tienen un buen restaurante y la recepción es muy agradable, así como la piscina. Tienen que estar más pendientes del aseo a la habitación y cambio de toallas.

• Britt (10/5): - Wat een heerlijk verblijf hebben wij hier gehad. De kamer was super mooi en schoon. Het personeel en de eigenaren zijn heel erg vriendelijk. Het zwembad was lekker verkoelend en de locatie is top. We hebben 1 avond gegeten en ook het eten was erg lekker voor een goede prijs. Omdat de kamer open is is deze wel gehorig (hier hebben wij zelf geen last van gehad). Mocht je een lichte slaper zijn zijn oordopjes wel handig. Als we iets zouden moeten bedenken: een waslijntje voor de natte was zou handig zijn.

• Gail (8/5): I enjoyed my stay at Haku Hotel thanks to the privacy of the pool and the welcoming atmosphere of this small establishme - I loved the quiet peaceful ambiance and having the delightful pool all to myself. I was the only guest in the pool for the most part of my 4 night stay. My cabin was basic but well maintained and carefully cleaned. The staff , Diego, Melodie and Maide, were accommodating and pleasant when requests were made, such as water for tea. The garlic shrimp evening meal I had in the restaurant was tasty. I appreciated the absence of raucous music at this small hotel and the comfortable seating options in the pool and other public spaces. Close to restaurants and a 5 minute walk to the shore made it a good location although a bit away from the trendier part of Palomino. There had just been a tremendous 24 hour rain storm a few days before I arrived so the beach was not even accessible for walking. The breakfast could use a bit more variety. Eggs, cold toast and a small fruit bowl every morning could be changed up a bit.
• Alexandra (10/5): - I really liked Haku ❤️. The quiet and relaxing atmosphere and the birds chirping! The rooms are very spacious. The bed is large and comfortable. You also have a large terrace to sit outside. Diego is super nice and can help you with extra activities such as horseback riding on the beach and much more. ❤️

• xie (5/5): - They washed 2kgs of clothes for us and made us pay for 5kg. The room is not closed, not very clean and we saw cockroach.

• Paulina (5/5): Has seen better days - Good Location close to the Beach and many Restaurants Room smelt mouldy, water dripped in the room during hard rain, no aircon, only a fan. You can hear the karaoke from the hostel next door until late. Mushrooms grew around the pool area. Breakfast was a bit disappointing: only eggs, butter and 2 arepa (nothing else)- my dad asked for one additional arepa, which was not possible. Staff was not really friendly.

• Diego (9/5): - El lugar es muy lindo, muy cómodo y la atención del personal y sobre todo de su propietaria Helena es excepcional !! Me quedé en una de las cabañas privadas con la intención de descansar y fue espectacular, me sentí muy cómodo. A veces se sentía la música de alrededor de los vecinos. Pero uno entiende que son cosas externas al hotel.

• Alvaro Adolfo (7/5): - Bien situado. Con mucha vegetación. Muuuuuy ruidoso. Se oyen la música de los hoteles de alrededor. El wifi no llegaba a la habitación. La puerta de acceso tenía holguras de más de 1 centímetro por donde los mosquitos entraban fácilmente. Y había un montón. Desayuno un poco escaso. Sin zumo y no ofrecen un segundo café. La relación calidad precio no es buena.

• Simona (8/5): Very good - Fantastic staff who were super friendly and helpful! The food was gorgeous too! The nearby hotels all have parties until 4 am and it was a little impossible to sleep as we didn’t really have any solid walls! But if you can’t beat them, join them! We had a great time at the live music event!!
• Phoebe (10/5): Fabulous new hotel in Palomino - pure bliss and relaxing - We loved our stay at HAKU - the hotel is pure bliss in the centre of Palomino. Perfect clean pool with sunbeds, beautiful gardens, spacious rooms which never get to hot due to a high speed fan and mosquito net which is perfect. Loved the outdoor shower. This place is paradise with a real boho vibe - fabulous cocktails and food served after 5pm too. The family run team are also very lovely and helpful!

• Doug (7/5): Good - Great location, clean rooms, nice bathroom and shower, staff are great. Mosquito nets around beds really handy. Rooms are big and airy. Doors could have been sealed better as all manner of bugs could easily crawl in and up into the bed. Breakfast was just ok. New septic system can’t handle paper . No hot water ( ok this last one is a bit picky but I hate freezing cold morning showers)
• Igor (10/5): Excellent location. Good kitchen, friendly smiling helpful staff. - We spend 10 nights here and we would ha be e stayed even longer. Very nice new hotel with cozy rooms and a nice little swimming pool. Everything exceeded our expectations. The location is excellent as it's close to the beach but far enough from the beach party hostels. Good compromise between party and good sleep. Diego the owner is always helpful and open for a nice chat. We will be back

• Thijs (10/5): Luxury beach getaway - Haku has just arrived, it’s your secret getaway at the Caribbean coast in the middle of Palomino. We loved our luxurious stay in the middle of where it alle happens. Made possible by the most amazing staff! It was all perfect… maybe… in the future.. WiFi can be added in the rooms, that’s all.
• Julia (10/5): A wonderful stay at an extraordinary place! - All of the personal working there has been so nice to us, it was a pleasure to stay at the beautiful HAKU. The food is extraordinary and the cocktails at the bar are delicious as well! It was a very lovely stay and I can only recommend staying in this beautiful place! Nothing that could have been changed. HAKU is in the center of the village, so you will hear music from other places at night. Bring earplugs and everything is fine!
• Vida (10/5): Exceptional - It’s been a lovely stay! We felt as if at home with constant care of the owners. It was so good that we barely left the hotel :-) every room has its own mini patio which is private enough to do your life. Rooms are spacious and if you are lucky enough you can have you morning ritual in company of birds, squirrels and iguanas hiding out in garden. Pure piece of heaven :-) btw, restaurant food is great!! That we had to leave
• Julie (8/5): A modern, clean and lush experience with delicious food - It’s brand new, clean, lush and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the cocktails were great. Location was good and prices were reasonable. We stayed in the room located furthest from the main area, and unfortunately, the Wi-Fi did not reach our room. Additionally, as the room is a partly open cabana, there were instances when street noises made it seem as though someone was trying to enter our room. While the staff were very friendly and helpful, the service in the restaurant seemed to lack attention at times.
• Alex (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel is awesome but it was the food that really blew us away. Street lighting would flood into our room at night - staff was notified and i am confident it will be fixed shortly.
