• Luke (9/5): Great apartment, used as a base for a week's sunny break - Our host Diana was great, she met us at the property, explained everything and later gave us some recommendations for bars/restaurants. The property has a charming little balcony with a sea view, a few essentials were found in the cupboards (cooking oil, ice cubes, coffee, tea, salt, sugar) and some oranges left in the fruit bowl which was a welcome touch. The bed and pillows are comfy and the bathroom well appointed with a decent shower. Air Conditioning works well and is easy to control. Flat is on 7th floor and has tri-locking door which is very secure. would have liked the chairs on the balcony to be more comfortable

• Stephen (9/5): Great location in Almeria - Location very good. 5 min walk from bus/railway station..from where you can travel to various local walking areas etc ( and also take a bus back to airport) .A 10 minute walk from city centre. Plenty of local supermarkets and cafes. A well appointed modern studio apartment. Balcony was pleasant too. No significant issues.
• Tamera (7/5): Good - Despite the studio-size dimensions of this apartment, the kitchen was well equipped with a washing machine, an oven, a four-burner stove, and a variety of pots. We were able to cook most of our meals during our 4-day stay -- thanks to the kitchen and several nearby supermercados. In addition, the lengthy coastal paseo was within walking distance, across a couple of busy streets. Meeting up with the host was easy, and the building proved to be safe (a vigilant yet friendly woman remained stationed at a lobby desk throughout the day), and building residents were polite. Laundry and dish soaps, in addition to coffee and apples, were generously provided. I believe that this unit should be characterized as a studio rather than a one-bedroom apartment: neither a solid wall nor a door separates the bedroom from the kitchen/living area. Although the location is convenient to the train station and paseo, it proved to be very loud due to nearby traffic, as well as to building residents who became noisy very early in the morning by turning on TVs or music, closing doors, and wearing high heels. Because the cleaning fee is quite high for such a small unit (30 euros), I would expect better results. For instance, the coffee machine contained old coffee grounds, the panini press was too dirty to use, and the vents in the bathroom and over the stove were dirty. Very strong air "fresheners" attempted to mask the bathroom odor. In addition, the shower water remained hot for only a short while. Although it was winter, only a thin polyester bedspread was available for the bed. There were only 5 clothes hangers in the closet, and no additional blankets, other than a small throw blanket on the sofa.
