• Inese (8/5): Nice place to stay for one night at an affordable price - There was no parking space at the accommodation, so I left it a long way away. I was alone in an eight-person room, which was cool, but if it had been full, I probably wouldn't have liked sleeping on the second floor, the bed would move at the slightest movement. But the little village is very nice and the view from the accommodation is also beautiful. Wifi is only available outside the rooms.

• Nuria (10/5): Ens ha encantat! - El personal de l'alberg ens va tractar superbé, sempre molt amables i propers, cosa que es valora molt. És genial que un poblet tan petit com Lújar tingui un alberg així, i es nota que hi ha darrere un projecte molt maco que estan tirant endavant amb molta il·lusió. A l’habitació hi hem estat molt còmodes, i a la cuina hi hem trobat tot el que necessitàvem. Les vistes des del mirador són molt boniques, i és un lloc perfecte per gaudir de la posta de sol. Les lliteres fan una mica de soroll quan et mous, però a part d’això la resta ens ha encantat. En general, ha estat una experiència molt positiva!

• Mike (10/5): Hunde freundliche Art, direkt in einem Bergdorf Minuten vom Meer entfernt - In einem Bergdorf gelegen, weit ab vom Schiff in einem wirklich süßen Ort trafen wir auf ein superfreundliches BesitzerPaar. Wir fühlten uns von Anfang an, auch vor den Angestellten willkommen, und es war uns eine große Freude, dass auch unser Hund mit durfte.

Die Kirchenglocken ( ⛪️ nebenan! ) hört man nachts bei geschlossenem Fenster und heruntergelassenen Jalousien ( mit Trick! 🤪 ) kaum! Kleines Bergdorf! Retro Mikrowelle + Kühlschrank 😃 Keine 17,5 km von Salobreña! Evtl. Fluglinie! Eher 45 km! Gefährliche Serpentinen ( meistens ohne Leitplanken )…. man braucht gute Nerven und… nicht in den Abgrund schauen! Keine Restaurants!

• Lourdes (10/5): Sin duda volvería - Era la primera vez que reservaba en un albergue y tenía mis dudas, pero me encantó. Las instalaciones estaban genial y todo muy limpio. Nuestra habitación nos gustó mucho y las camas comodisimas y nos dejaron toallas. Pero lo mejor fue el trato nos pusieron un platito con queso, tortilla, pantumaca de bienvenida y nos dieron una botella grande de agua. Nos asesoraron rincones cercanos para ver. Volvería sin duda En los baños no había jabón

• Ann (10/5): Wonderful hostal in the hills just off the coast in Southern Spain - Great hostal high in the hills above Castell de Ferro! Quiet comfortable room with air conditioning, clean bathrooms right down the hall,friendly helpful hosts! What a beautiful location! The common areas were perfect! We made a meal in the fully equipped clean kitchen and sat out in the courtyard looking out towards the sea. Very reasonably priced and just what we needed on our long travel!

• laura elisabetta (10/5): A Little gem in Costa Tropical far from the Costa caos, close to the Spanish warm soul - Amazing! I found this place looking for somewhere cheap to stay while my son attended an athletic camp in Sierra Nevada, and no other place could have been better! First , the owners: Javi and Maria are so kind and so Spanish in the way they treat their guests that I felt at home from the very first moment I arrived. As they knew I would be staying for quite a long time compared to other guests, they reserved me the room with the fridge and microwave. The room was very clean and tidy. There is also a shared kitchen with a fridge and microwave and all you would need to cook yourself whatever you want. But what I would suggest is to grab something from the bar . Maria is a great cook as well! The prices are super fair! And even if you don't have the intention to eat anything from the bar, but you just order a drink, you will surely end up eating a tapa (offered with the drink)! So kind of them! The bathroom was shared , but I never had to wait a second for it, and it was always clean . The village is a little gem in the middle of nowhere . The view is amazing ; you might end up meeting an old man walking down the narrow streets with his horse, and everyone is so warmly Spanish that after a couple of days, they would just say "ciao, Italiana. " Actually, the beautiful beaches of Costa Tropical are only a 15-minute drive away, so it is well worth staying here instead of in a dodgy hotel down by the seaside. I loved this place , and I would recommend it to all of my friends and definitely come back next year. Nothing

• Dale (9/5): Peaceful, charming hillside village hostel. - Large, immaculate hostel in charming hillside village. Great views and birdsong! Had the place to myself in mid-Feb for a one night stay. Easy access to the coast and lovely beaches. Very helpful hosts , thank you. The one induction hob for cooking was a bit of a mystery to use! Would be a bit limited for larger groups.
• Jeff (10/5): Great cycling, cool town, cool people - Lujar is a great cycling destination. The staff were all really great people. The accommodations were clean and pleasant. For an alburgue type of stay this place is really good. I will return.
• Andrea (10/5): Exceptional - Javi and Maria, just incredible hosts. The room was so clean and big, just for myself. In the evening they manage the bar of the albergue and you can chill out with true locals, tapas come for free with the drink. Really good stuff. Unique drawback: Lujar is a bit outside, the car is a must.
