Breakfast Room very dated, dingy, no staff present in Dining Area. Breakfast/Coffee not hot or great quality, packaged goods (but fresh orange juice very good).

Surtout le petit déjeuner n'était pas à la hauteur des prix. Les viennoiseries pas fraîches ni la charcuterie ni le fromage. Le café très léger...En revanche les œufs brouillés étaient OK.

We were also told on the first night that we were going to be upgraded for the last night, which was a great surprise and very generous by our host. • Roberts (10/5): Plaka Arch Suites Anniversary Stay - We had the most amazing stay at Plaka Arch Suites, from arrival the staff were so friendly and helpful! We stayed in the Excelsior Terrace Dream Suite Room and had private access to the beautiful rooftop terrace which included the Hot Tub. The view of the Acropolis was incredible both day and night and the location in Plaka was close to most of the attractions as well as excellent restaurants and bars! The room was spacious and very clean and we were very impressed with the breakfast served each morning too. We would absolutely recommend Plaka Arch Suites and look forward to returning!

• Mike (7/5): Uns hat Athen super gefallen, wenn man viel unterwegs ist und viel sehen möchte ist das Hotel genial auf Grund seiner op - Super Lage, wir konnten alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen. Da die Unterkunft mitten im Plaka lag hatten wir auch super schöne Möglichkeiten zum Essen zu gehen. In einer Wand war ein Rohr undicht und dadurch Feuchtigkeit in der Wand was zu Schimmelbildung führte. Da wir im Winter verreist sind,waren die Temperaturen nicht so hoch, dass es sofort trocknet. Frühstück war nur draußen möglich, im Januar also mit Jacke - war mit Heitzstrahlern aber ok. Auswahl beim Frühstück eher dürftig aber ok.

• Ana (7/5): Spot on location - The location was fantastic – we were right at the doorstep of the Acropolis with restaurants and everything else we needed within walking distance. The bed and shower were incredibly comfortable. We were also allowed to keep our belongings there since our flight was only in the evening. Thanos was incredibly responsive and kind which I really appreciated. The breakfast was okay. Unfortunately our ground-floor room lacked natural light and was situated near the lift and the main door. This meant we could hear everything and everyone at all times (e.g at 6ish when the staff started working). The kitchen and breakfast area, located in front of our room, was also incredibly noisy, with all the preparation and customer chatter. This disturbed our stay and we noticed there were beds upstairs with great views and natural light, which we had overlooked. We had also been expecting a great view and a jacuzzi on the rooftop but unfortunately, we couldn’t find them. When we asked about the jacuzzi they informed us that renovations were underway. This was disappointing as we had paid for the location and the jacuzzi.

• Sasa (10/5): Alles in allem aber ein sehr gutes Hotel und absolut empfehlenswert. Vielen Dank! - Wir waren Mitte Januar für 4 Tage hier und es war wirklich super. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Jeden Tag wurde das Zimmer gereinigt und wir bekamen frische Handtücher, obwohl wir das gar nicht extra verlangt hatten. Außerdem gab es täglich neue Kaffeekapseln. Die Lage ist perfekt – absolut alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt sind in etwa 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Balkon und der Ausblick sind ebenfalls hervorragend. Was im Winter vielleicht nicht ganz optimal ist, ist der Frühstücksbereich, der im Freien liegt, sodass von beiden Seiten Luft zirkuliert. Ich bin mir aber sicher, dass dies während des Großteils des Jahres, wenn es in Athen sehr heiß ist, ein großer Vorteil ist – es hängt also vom Wetter ab. Außerdem gab es leider keinen Tee zum Frühstück. Allerdings waren Gasheizstrahler auf der Terrasse aufgestellt, sodass für Wärme gesorgt war. Was ebenfalls nicht ganz ideal ist, ist die Schallisolierung der Balkontüren – ich habe nicht ganz ruhig geschlafen, da man gelegentlich den Straßenlärm hört.

Odamız alt kattaydı, kahvaltı yapılan yere bakıyordu camı, kahvaltı için hazırlıklar ve kahvaltının kendisi de çok erken yapıldığı için seslere uyandık ama daha kötüsü odayı büyük olasılıkla ilaçlamışlardı ya da oda kokusuydu bilemiyorum, öylesine yoğun ve boğucu bir kokuydu ki öksürmekten tıkandık ve camlar açık uyumak zorunda kaldık. Tüm odalar dolu dendiği için oda değişikliği de yapılmadı maalesef..

• Anastasia (9/5): Value for money!!! - Η τοποθεσία ήταν εξαιρετικά βολική και για τη δουλειά μου και για τη χρήση των ΜΜΜ. Το πρωινό είχε επιλογή gluten free και οι δύο κυρίες που ήταν υπεύθυνες ήταν ιδιαίτερα ευγενικές και εξυπηρετικές. Το δωμάτιο ήταν ευρύχωρο και πολύ περιποιημένο.

El día que dejamos el hotel, cuando fuimos a tomar un taxi hacia el aeropuerto, nos encontramos con que había huelga de taxis. Llame por teléfono al hotel y nos buscó un medio de transporte rápidamente. Gracias a eso no perdimos el vuelo. Todos los días nos ponían agua de cortesía. Los desayunos eran muy básicos y las ventanas no estaban bien aisladas del ruido, menos mal que la zona es tranquila y el ruido no es continuo.

Ellerinden geleni yapıyorlardı Tesis inanılmaz kötü durumda ilk gün bize verdikleri oldu tahminimce bir depo alanıydı çünkü dışarıya açılan penceresi bile yoktu otelin iç duvarına bakıyordu pencere. Odada duvarlar nem içindeydi küf vardı ve korkunç kötüydü aynı zamanda kokuyordu. Banyodaki pencere otelin içindeki bir holü açılıyordu kocaman bir pencereydi ve perde dahi yoktu havluyla kapatmak zorunda kaldık. İnsan sağlığına zararlı çok fazla şey vardı yunanistan’da çok fazla otelde kaldım ama ilk defa bu kadar kötü bir otel gördüm

Açık büfe seçeneklerinin yanında bir tabak farklı çeşitlerde yumurta menüsü var. İstediğinizi seçebiliyorsunuz. Kaldığımız oda genişti. Özellikle bizim kaldığımız odanın balkonu çok genişti. Kış mevsiminde kaldığımız için tadını çıkaramasak da daha sıcak havalarda mükemmel olacağından eminim. Çalışanlar da çok yardımsever ve güleryüzlü. Özellikle Thanos Bey otel ile alakalı olmayan konularda bile bize fikir verdi yardımcı oldu

Aamiainen ulkoterassilla, kun lämpötila oli alle 10 astetta, oli aluksi totuttelua vaativaa. Kaasulämmittimet sai kuitenkin käyttöön pyytämällä, ja sitten tarkeni. Ei ole majoituspaikan syytä, mutta lähimmät ravintolat ovat kaikki aika karseita turistirysiä, joissa ruoan laatu on kehno mutta hinta iso. Hiukan etäämmälle kävellen löysi parempaa ruokaa likipuolta halvemmalla.

• Cherity (9/5): Treat yo'self! We did and it was worth it! - We booked ourselves a real treat with the Excelsior Terrace Dream Suite. What a way to close out a trip to Greece! The room was quite large. In fact, it was the largest of our entire trip to Greece. We made sure to take advantage of the roof top hot tub with Acropolis view each of the three nights of our stay. The roof deck was huge. I wish we had even more time to have a picnic dinner up there. The Plaka location is perfect for exploring on foot. There's countless restaurants and shops withing walking distance. Check-in was quick and simple. Staff were helpful across the board. Breakfast included some cooked to order options. I enjoyed an omelet each day. This stay will be one that stands out in our travel memories.

Our room was impeccably clean and felt like home- had all the amenities we needed that even expensive hotels do not provide (wi-fi, complete toiletries, sponges, shaving tools, bath robes, hair dryer, sleeping accessories, slippers, sponges, tea and coffee station). They also offered breakfast options aside from the buffet choices. Staff were incredibly friendly and accomodating especially Thanos. A really memorable experience, exceeding all expectations

Not only was the place well presented, clean and comfortable, but there were robes, sleepers, but even a complementary bottle of wine! Breakfast is included and in addition to the buffet you can order eggs to your liking. The place is located near the main tourist area 5 minutes from Acropolis, cafes and restaurants. Nothing really.
• Stephanie (9/5): Location brilliant and room was huge! - Location amazing - very close to the Acropolis and all the shops, cafes, bars, tour meeting points etc. Very large room and bathroom, comfy bed, and large balcony (ours had a partial view of the Acropolis which is lit up at night). Breakfast was cooked to order each morning and delicious! Staff all super friendly and they offered to store luggage for us after we checked out if we needed.
