Ralph (6/5): - grootte van het huis en zwembad Warmte in huis en ontbreken van de airco. Ook vonden we het jammer dat de eigenaar met honden naast het huis woont. De privacy was er daarom niet.
Chris (10/5): Amazing villa with pool close to Florence - Amazing peaceful stay in old converted mill. Place is beautiful and photos don't really do it justice. Short walk to local shop and cafe. Only around 20 mins outside of Florence and easy reach to other towns in Tuscany.

Rossana (10/5): Magical loving experience in a villa in Tuscany - Everything was magical , Gianna and her family husband and son received us as friends from life , we were treated as family, Gianna’s food was glorious , Julio’s her son taught us how they made wine , the vineyards the pool the garden , the flowers , even Giotto their dog was loving , we had an amazing time there we didn’t wanted to end Mercatale Val di Pesa in Chianti is a small town of vineyards , peaceful and beautiful I sightseeing if you want to taste good wine , relax and enjoy La Toscana
Mary (8/5): Great location, good base house to explore the region. - The location is fantastic, in a small village away from the more touristy spots. Beds were comfortable and the area was quiet but still close to the town. The owners were very friendly. The house is like someone’s home so was quite comfy and very spacious. Fans in all the rooms. You definitely need a car to get here and there is ample parking. It would have been a welcome touch to have a bottle of the local wine in the fridge on arrival. Seems the owners are new to holiday rentals so a few extra touches will make this place 5 star! The wifi seems to be based in the owners house next door so there was only one corner in the house to get moderate connection. That needs to be fixed as phone reception was virtually nil. Good if you want to switch off, but bad when seeking places to go. The kitchen is small without a conventional oven and the barbecue mentioned in the description is simply a stone pizza style oven and the grate wasn’t clean. Please note that there are dogs on the property! They are friendly 😁 but the property did not advise they are there in any correspondence. A little difficult to find the house so it would be a great help if the owners sent clear directions prior to arrival.
