Guest Reviews
- Andrea Gebert (10/5): - Beautiful building, fantastic location. Water in the bathroom didnt drain quickly enough and made the dressing area wet and slippery.
- Raine (9/5): A lovely respite in a long, tiring journey. - The coffee and tea were well presented with plenty of milk and sugar. A real bonus. Thank you
The property had been lovingly restored and was very comfortable, modern where need be and Federation in its decor. A lovely home. The fact that we could not stay longer.

- Alexandra (8/5): Perfect for a weekend away with friends and family - Lovely light-filled home with everything we needed for a long weekend away. Close to local restaurants and with good parking options. The sunroom was a particularly good place to sit back and relax. The broken blind in the shower was disappointing, and the bathroom could have done with a thorough clean.
- Rachel (10/5): Comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. - Gorgeous older home and very comfortable. Host was lovely. Thank you
- kate (10/5): -

- Chris (9/5): I loved the heritage feel for which I am accustomed. The house was clean and tidy and the garden was a delight. - Location was great, facilities were wonderful, it had a cosy old world ambiance
- Tanya (10/5): Fantastic - Comfort, electric blankets, location
- Tenille (9/5): Central location, comfy home perfect for families, with backyard for kids to play. - The location was perfect, walking distance to many pubs, restaurants, cafes and took a stroll along river to epic playground back past St Michael's cathedral to home. Webber BBQ didn't work so well, but am sure is easily fixed.
- Rachel (8/5): It was a very comfortable & worked well for what we needed. - Lovely little spacious house.
Convenient location. More attention needs to be paid to cleaning externally - paths & verandahs in particular.
- christine (9/5): Very pleasant and enjoyable - Location
- Lena (4/5): Location good, but heating does not work and a lot of dust & cobwebs - Location Central heating did not work in bedrooms. They were freezing.
Car noises all day and night.

- Justine (8/5): A lovely comfortable older house close to the CBD of Wagga! - It was a large and comfy house with several shared rooms -- lounge room, family room and dining room -- which was great for four people. A nice big kitchen. The gas heater in the lounge room was excellent - kept us comfy and warm. The beds were beautifully made up with lovely sheets, pillows and doonas and great mattresses. Appreciated the electric blankets. The shower was excellent! Very easy to get the keys from the lock box. The ducted heating system didn't seem to work, though we successfully turned it on; it didn't seem to warm up the house. So we kept the gas heater on while we were in the house.
The fireplaces in the bedroom were rather dusty and dirty (not being used -- just decorative, but they needed to be cleaned behind the decorations).
The blind in the shower area wouldn't go down and I could see out to the street and neighbour's yard while showering. Didn't see anybody in the neighbour's yard but it would have been nice to have more privacy.
The back door seemed to be unlocked when I went to unlock it upon arrival.
I locked it for the night later, but my sister then said it was unlocked in the morning.
I then locked it when we left. However, I recommend you have a check of this back lock because of these experiences.
- Syver (10/5): - It was in a great location for us, nice and close to the CBD with access to dining, cafes and hotels.
The actual house was lovely and we didn't want to leave.
The owner was very nice and happy to help us.
I would highly recommend this stay to others especially families.

- Aaron (9/5): Fantastic, would definitely stay again.. - Great location, home is beautiful and has lots of character
- Peter (9/5): Very enjoyable stay - Proximity to town centre. Well equipped house for our stay and very spacious and comfortable. Nothing comes to mind.
- Graham (7/5): Convenient location with plenty of charcter. - Nice house with lots of character and it was good to have an attractive rear garden and outdoor space. Its on quite a busy street and traffic noise was a bit intrusive.
- Jennifer (10/5): The house served us very well. It was warm and welcoming and very comfortable. - The house served us very well. It was warm and welcoming and very comfortable. The undercover carport was very welcome when we were loading our car in the rain.
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicki (10/5): Very happy. Host was very good to deal with - Easy to find, check in, clean and suited our needs.
- Leanne (10/5): Fantastic stay, comfortable home away from home!!! - The country style. Spacious, plenty of room for a family or two couples. Close to town. Nothing that we didn’t like.
- B (9/5): Superb -
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
- Janelle (7/5): The house was large and cosy and convenient to the centre of town by foot but more detailed cleaning would make it fabul - The central location was great. The property was roomy and comfortable with many inclusions. The backyard outdoor area had a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere, which we enjoyed. This beautiful Federation-style house is very convenient for an overnight stay in Wagga. Disappointingly, we found the house was only superficially clean. It really needs a deep clean to bring it up to a higher standard.
The main rooms had fresh bedding and towels and the bathroom felt clean, and the lounge and dining rooms presented well. However, the smaller details were overlooked.
For example, in the kitchen, the kitchen bin had crumbs and a bit of rubbish left under the new bin liner, so the bin itself had not been cleaned.
While it was very good to have the coffee machine with coffee pods provided, unfortunately it contained old used pods that hadn’t been emptied and the cleaning function for the machine had not been activated so it was difficult for the machine to operate properly (perhaps cleaning solution and instructions could be left). The cooking pots provided were old with damaged surfaces and really needed to be replaced. The wooden bread board was not clean.
The room with the single beds had dust and some leaf-like debris on the surface of the bed covers, as did the carpet in this room- not vacuumed?
The laundry floor needed a good clean around the washing machine.
Also, provision of basics like salt and pepper and some laundry detergent for the washing machine would have been appreciated.
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (10/5): Spacious rooms and great location - Great place to stay for a group of adults. All the rooms are large and plenty of seats in the lounge and dinning space. Location was perfect for us and it was nice to have off street parking.
- Gina (8/5): Very comfortable and a great location. - This was a very comfortable stay for a family get-together; we had two couples and a single, and there was plenty of room, including a sun room for a bit of extra me time :) The beds were comfortable; the shower pressure was good; the kitchen was clean with plenty of utensils. Great off-street parking for three cars and there was virtually no street noise during the night. There's a Woolworths a short walk away and plenty of places to eat out. The outside toilet didn't shut off after flushing - no big deal once we were aware of it. My personal bugbear - why do the coffee cups and wine glasses have to be on the top shelf? First world problems!
- Erin (10/5): Beautiful, comfortable house in a great location. Highly recommend. -
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - The property was very homely, lots of space and great amenities. Shops and places to eat were a short walk away, it’s a great area!
- Christine (7/5): Adequate property for a short stay in Wagga Wagga - We chose this property for its proximity to our family. There is a Woolworths and petrol station nearby and walkable to some shops. The house has 3 bedrooms, one bathroom and an extra toilet in the laundry. Instructions to gain access are easy to use. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and the shower is good and strong, however the property could benefit from a little TLC. Overall though, it was adequate for our needs and the price reflected the quality of what to expect. Kitchen pots/utensils need to be updated. All round cleaning could be improved. It was good to have a second toilet however the laundry toilet needs attention by attaching it securely to the floor.
- Lisa (10/5): Great place to stay for the whole family. - Great location and very comfortable!

- Charis (8/5): Very good -
