Haechung (5/5): Don’t stay here unless you’re okay with limited air conditioning use or don’t plan to spend much time at the apartment. - The apartment was modern and well laid out. The pool was amazing and we really enjoyed the hammocks. Staff were professional and nice but super uninformed. They told us we were limited to “normal island use” for electricity/air conditioning but couldn’t explain what was considered normal beyond 8-12 hours of use, for sleeping. This would have been fine if this was disclosed on the website (not updated as of today, 7/21/2024) but the property details didn’t mention it. We found out about this during check-in when the girl took us to our apartment rental. The apartment has a washing machine but due to the over extensive warning about “normal electricity use” we were scared to even use it. The deposit also says it’s $300 on Booking but during check-in, they charged my card $500. The property was great but there were a lot of discrepancies between what’s posted online opposed to what we were told upon arrival. Check out was also a disaster. Thankfully, we have great time management. If we were in a time crunch, we would have missed our flight. Nobody was at the front desk at 8am and it took about 30 min to get a printed invoice at check out.
