• Alexis (10/5): Un accueil inoubliable et un service clientèle irréprochable. - Absolument exceptionnel! Vaea et Marokii nous ont accueilli dans leur paradis. L’accueil y est fantastique. Attentionnés et professionnels, ils ont su rendre notre séjour inoubliable. La chambre est très confortable, les hôtes sont d’une gentillesse extrême et les tours proposés sont superbes. Allez-y sans hésiter une seconde. N’être resté que 3 nuits.

Beautiful lady, can’t fault the hosts Only would be recommendations to have a screen door to stop bugs and keep airflow. Some sort of ventilation in bathroom. Eg window or extraction.

• Doris (10/5): Great stay - Vaea was super helpful when our flight got cancelled last minute and we needed to arrive one day earlier as expected. She picked us up from the airport and drove with us to the supermarket - it was a very warm welcome! The bungalow is clean and cosy, the air condition is working great and we had everything we needed. We booked a private lagune tour with Vaea's husband Marokii (Tai Marino Tour) and loved it!

• Ngaroariki T (10/5): Quiet, clean & safe - What a quiet, clean, private & safe place with a camera at the driveway. Same family as Tai Marino which is also an awesome home and view from that verandah-amazing. Just a 40sec walk to the beach from your room at Tai'inu. Enjoyed our stay at both properties thank you Vaea and Marokii.

• Beatrice (10/5): Wunderschön und einmalig😃 - Sehr schönes Bungalow mit grosser überdeckter Veranda. Mit allem ausgestattet was es braucht. Super Vaea und Marokii waren sooo freundliche und hilfsbereite Leute. Wir konnten auch vor Ort einen Scooter mieten. Das Wifi war super. Mit Marokii (marino tours) haben wir mehrere private Lagoontouren gemacht. Super schön😍
• Daria Carrero (10/5): - Absolut empfehlenswert! Was für eine herzliche und warme Begrüßung – gefolgt von einer kurzen Einführung und Erklärung zum wunderschönen Aitutaki. Zur Begrüßung gab es frisches Obst und Wasser. Das Bungalow selbst ist einfach allerliebst, sehr sauber, gut gelegen und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Geführt wird die Unterkunft von einem unglaublich liebevollen Ehepaar – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und zuhause. Unbedingt die Lagunen-Tour bei ihnen buchen – eines der schönsten Erlebnisse unserer Reise! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
• BAITIAN (10/5): Great place like a home to us - The location is very convenient, close to the beach. Vaea is very friendly and helped us rent a scooter in advance, took us shopping, and toured the town. She was very attentive to our stay. The bungalow was well-equipped, the internet and TV worked well, and the shower was powerful.

• Peter (9/5): Warmth of the welcome was outstanding - best hosting we have experienced! - We really appreciated Vaea's warm welcome and hospitality (the lei were beautiful); airport transfers included in the price; taking us to the supermarket so we could stock up on food for our holiday; and a wee tour. All email questions / communication were efficiently answered before we arrived. Any issues were swiftly dealt with. Given we stayed for 5 days we would have welcomed fresh towels halfway through - we could have asked (but we're not very good at doing that!).
• Bianca (10/5): True Island Feel - Thanks Kii & Vaea, staying at Taiinu for our first visit to Aitutaki was everything we hoped for. Taiinu had a true island bungalow feel. We enjoyed the privacy & being only steps away from the beach. Loved jumping on the scooter to find all the little places to eat & explore the island. Vaea helped point us in the right direction for everything local. We also loved the private snorkel tour with Kii… this is a must. We hadn’t snorkelled for some time but felt safe & enjoyed every minute as Kii shared his knowledge of the lagoon with us. Can’t thank you both enough. Hope to visit again.

The accommodation is clean and lovely, with everything we need. Definitely recommend to stay in this lovely place.

• Glenn (10/5): 4 nights in paradise - We had a lovely time at the bungalow on the stunning island of Aitutaki. Vaea was very helpful and met us at the airport. The room has all you need but not snorkeling gear. Bed was very comfy and although the beach is not that great here for swimming being quite shallow, it is a short drive to some beautiful beaches and the Lagoon. Nothing really.

Our hosts were amazing too and we learnt so much about Aitutaki. Also we thoroughly recommend Marino Tours lagoon day cruise if the islands, snorkelling & island walks.

• Richard (9/5): Wonderful host on a wonderful Cook Island - The host was first rate from pick up to drop off for the return flight. Fruit and full carton of milk in room on arrival were most welcome and an orientation tour was an excellent bonus. Location was great with good swimming and snorkeling a short walk along the beach. Scooter hire on site was very convenient and an excellent form of transport on the island although I would prefer helmets to be available. No dogs roaming the property was great too. Cockerels take a bit of getting used to!
• Genista (9/5): Superb - We were greeted at the airport by Vaea with the most fragrant flower eis placed around our necks and then transported to our beautiful little bungalow which had everything we needed for our stay (16 nights), the aircon was definitely a plus as we visited during Dec-Jan (very hot during this time) we were also greeted with a colouful array of assorted fresh fruits (which we devoured lol). The location was nice and secluded with just a short stroll down to the crystal blue waters and white sandy beach. We also booked a couple of bikes/scooters through the hosts, which is so convenient and easy to get around the island. Cannot wait to visit again 😊

Comfortable bungalow Had everything we needed. Easy walk to great swimming. Kii took us around the lagoon for snorkeling. Vaea went over the island map so we knew all the things to see.

• Vicky (10/5): Great bungalow and location, fabulous helpful host - Well fitted out with everything we needed, great big verandah, comfortable bed! Great beach nearby but shallow, short walk to deeper one. Vaea was very friendly and welcoming, and took us on a quick tour on arrival and to the shop (fresh fruit was provided in the bungalow ). Everything was fabulous.

• Warren (10/5): Great accomadation. Excellent hosts - Great hosts. this was our second stay at Tai inu Bungalows. Vaea picked us up from the airport and delivered us to our accomadation and dropped us back at the airport on our departure. Great accomadation handy to the beach.
• Lauren (9/5): Great place and great host - Nice property with everything you need. Not in walking distance from where the boats go so you just need a car. The host was super helpful in helping us source one.
• Wendy (10/5): Perfect spot to relax and enjoy the advantages of staying in locally owned selfcatering accomodation - Kii met us at the airport with beautiful ei's for each of us, he was so friendly and shared lots of interesting facts about the island. We saw Kii a few times during our stay, always friendly and helpful, but he was never obtrusive. The bungalow had a beautiful tropical garden setting with walk to the beach at the end of the driveway. The beach although shallow was full of fish, and the area at the end of the old runway was a short walk with very good snorkelling. Some live coral and huge variety of tropical fish to be seen there. Excellent sunset views from the beach while having takeaways from Aunty Odeez - recommend the chicken burger with island fries. We can also recommend Teking Lagoon tours if Kii's private charters are fully booked. The bungalow was very comfortable, with beautiful fresh fruit and basics provided at the start of our stay. Great to be able to have the Scooter to hire on site, this was an excellent way to see the island.
• Thom (10/5): Exceptional - The bungalow was very clean and airy. Comfortable bed and cosy space. Covered outside seating area and garden feel. It also felt private. Extra: bungalow has a phone you can use to call hosts or even local tours and restaurant. When we arrived they had a box a fruit a carton of milk. That made all the difference to us. ----
