- Daniel (10/5): Great B&B to stay in if you're doing the rail trail - Beautiful house. Great host and antastic location just off the Rail Trail.
- Michael (6/5): Good overall - Location good, breakfast good, Bathroom facilities ,no Vanity only Laundry Tub....
Lack of TV in bedroom
- Melanie (9/5): - Peter was wonderful. The house is beautifully styled and comfortable. It was probably just the bathroom facilities that let this little gem down. Sharing a bathroom is one thing, but I think long term, a separate toilet would make sense given the number of people the house can accommodate.
- Linea (9/5): - The house was big, clean and with all the needed facilities for our stay. The swimming pool was a lifesaver after a long hot day of cycling. Peter was very kind and even gave us a tip for
where to find the local koala.
- Charles (10/5): -
- Melissa (10/5): This was the perfect rest stop for our group while we were exploring the rail trail. Super comfortable and quiet. The po - Beautiful bed and breakfast, perfect for BVRT riders. Peter is an amazing and thoughtful host and has supplied everything you might need from bike storage and charging through to frozen dinners if you just want to chill. He even came to our rescue when we snapped a chain nearby. Nothing
- Michael (9/5): -
- Sara (9/5): Perfect stop and relaxation during your trip - Beautiful house.
Everything was clean and tidy.
Fully stocked kitchen available, pool, board games.
Bike shed and also fresh oranges to be picked 🙂 Nothing!

- John (10/5): Possibly the best BNB we have stayed in - Immaculate . Very bicycle friendly
- Wombat Panther (10/5): Fantastic guesthouse - This is a beautiful guesthouse with very spacious rooms. The breakfast was excellent.
The host is super helpful.
It is a perfect place to stay if you're riding the rail trail with lock up bike storage, tools, and while charging.
The pool was very refreshing at the end of a day's cycling.
Very highly recommended!

- Judy (9/5): The perfect place to stay for our bike ride in honour of my husband’s and children’s dad’s passing - A beautiful old queenslander house was easy to find while bike riding the BVRT. The swim in the pool was very welcome and the size of the family room for 5 adults was big. Everything was lovely
- Ann (10/5): Cycling the BVRT - Fantastic overnight stay on the BVRT. Extremely comfortable and generous continental breakfast.
- Brendan (10/5): Peter is very welcoming, thoughtful and extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. - A beautiful house, with rooms very tastefully furnished and restored. It's well-stocked with all the supplies you need for a short stay.
- fiona (8/5): -
- Elliott (10/5): - Beautifully looked after old house. Fantastic host who has thought of everything!
- lynne (10/5): Our host Peter was so welcoming, the house gorgeous, we’ll be back. - Beautiful home with all of the comforts in a lovely little town. Beds were comfortable and all of the other amenities were top notch.
We will be back. Nothing at all.
- Debbie (10/5): Perfect - Wonderful place to stay, lovely hosts and a very special property. Thank you for having us.
- Anne (9/5): Friendly beautiful and comfortable place. - The place was amazing - we could have spent a few days there just lounging around. Only two toilets/bathroom for the entire B&B. With that much space it would be easy to double the amenities making the stay perfect.
- AMANDA (10/5): Clean, comfortable and excellent location. - Excellent location for our ride on the BVRT. Comfortable and roomy. Excellent facilities, squeaky clean and very good range and quantity of foods for the continental breakfast. A lock up shed for bikes is very helpful. Peter was quick to communicate and help with all questions. A bit pricy.
- Diane (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the setting, clean, & interesting decor. Hard to find in the dark, no street light.
- Diane (10/5): Very comfortable, we had everything we needed and more! - Montrose on Moore was perfectly situated half way for my friend and I to meet up. It seems to be 1.5 hours drive from so many places including Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Kingaroy. It is located right on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, so perfect for cyclists and hikers. The kitchen is very well kitted out with everything you need to cook a meal, it's large enough for a number of people to cook together. The beds were comfortable with good quality linen. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. It felt like home away from home. There was nothing we didn't like.
- Karen (10/5): An enjoyable overnight stay - The property was well kept and clean. Breakfast was included in the price.
Very spacious and the amenities were great, we used the swimming pool which was well looked after. Bike storage was not a problem, we did the BVRT.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Adam (9/5): Superb - Stayed here as part of my cycle trip on the Brisbane Valley rail trail. Peter was very helpful and knowledgeable about the rail trail. The accommodation was great and Peter showed me all the amenities and recommended other places during my holiday.
- Jacqueline (8/5): Very good - We liked the location. The house and gardens are beautiful. The house has no soundproofing, so it's a little noisy when guests are up late in the lounge or awake early in the kitchen. Also could do with another bathroom... we had to wait an hour to use the toilet with the queue of guests waiting.
- John (10/5): A must stay at if your riding the Rail trail - Very well set up for bike riders on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. Excellent facilities.
- Blake (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect facilities and thoughtful host for BVRT stopover.
We arrived late and in the rain. Peter had texted us to check in on how we were going, and had left towels out for us to clean up a bit before coming inside. He also had excellent knowledge of availability of local services and the trail and the accomodations washing machine was very convenient No flak on the venue or the host, but in the dusk/rain I made the mistake of trusting the GPS directions and not the signs which direct cyclists towards Moore town centre. Following the signs would have avoided 140m of riding on the main road / being chased down by a cattle truck.
- Darren (10/5): Fabulous stay! - everything was superb
- Deborah (9/5): Beautiful home. Lovely hosts. Would be great for a group doing the BVRT - Great place to stay as part of the BVRT. Lockable shed with charging ports for e-bikes. Breakfast included with a good variety. Bonus has frozen meals to buy, if like us, was thinking we would purchase meals at each stop. Nothing in Moore.
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional - Host greeted and showed us through the lovely house. They were very helpful and personable, making us feel at home.
- Susan (9/5): Superb -
- Barbara (8/5): Our stay at Montrose on Moore was very pleasant. We enjoyed sitting out on the verandah in the cool - The style of the house and the way it was laid out. The verandahs for sitting out on were great That it wasn't that close to somewhere to eat out.
- Jansz (8/5): Very good -
- Janet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zac (10/5): Awesome stay - Awesome place to stay, Peter goes over and above for his clients.
- Lauren (10/5): Best bed and breakfast on the Brisbane valley rail trail - Everything was fantastic, Best bed and breakfast on the Brisbane valley rail trail, thanks Paul! Everything was really great, Paul is a fantastic host.
- Whan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Galletly (8/5): Very good - Love old house in a quaint little country town. Highway noise from the odd truck.
- Nicholas (8/5): Very enjoyable, it was a nice experience to have shared kitchen and dining facilities with other families. - Very nice Queenslander era home. Very well fit out and designed kitchen and living space down stairs. Character and charm upstairs. Shared toilet and bathroom facilities for multiple guests. We are not used to staying in such an arrangement, not bad, just unusual for us. Some traffic noise into the evening, again, not bad, just a little unexpected.
- Karen (7/5): Good -
