For example, they were extremely caring and even prepared gifts for our child, which made her elated. We had an unforgettable stay and we’ll definitely revisit in the future!

When we got to our room, there was a strong smoke smell. I realised later when we returned to the room that we were in a smokers room. We were moved to another room around midnight and the staff were helpful but it would have been great if we were allocated the correct room initially as it was tricky to move our family luggage (and sleeping kids) to the new room.

• Chi (7/5): Nice room and to be improved communication - I stayed in the suite, it is very nice room and good supply of fruit and drinks. The checkin counter didn't share us information about the business lounge, even we told him that we will be going for some light food before the check-in time.

The front desk staff was unprofessional, we stayed for birthday celebration, we got the birthday cake and card from the hotel, but their had a big mistake the name in the card was wrong, that showed your staff was inattentive. The lift lobby assistant(??) who assist us to the room and inside the room for asking the tips, that was most felt worst and never got that at other 5 star hotels before. And also our shower room was drain blockage, and the air conditioner was so noise.

It's also great to have complimentary welcome fruits and min bar. The in-room fridge is not enough cold for cooling the soft drinks.

• Kishi (4/5): Disappointing - The inside of the hotel is clean and there is a washlet in the toilet. Even though it is a Japanese affiliated hotel, there are few Japanese employees. The room is not prepared at check-in, so I have to wait for a long time. The USB opening is in an inconvenient place.

• Grace (8/5): Value for money, great place for family activity. - We're surprised to have room upgraded. Cosy bed. Good to have separate bathtub and shower cabin with overhead shower. Free access to Grand Resort Deck, skytop wave pool and longest skytop aquatic adventure river ride. Good to play in the grand resort deck for whole day even after check out. There's locker rental service provided. Kids have fun in skytop water park. It took us more than 15 mins to wait for coach going to the hotel from Cotai Pier. Smoke smell is quite strong in the room. The temperature of the shower in Grand Resort Deck was not stable, switching between hot and cold.

And free WiFi throughout Galaxy. Pool view from our room definitely won our hearts too since we had kids with us. Basically nothing. Or if a good printed map is provided, will be bonus.
