Guest Reviews
- Honey (10/5): Gorgeous stay with the most welcoming host! - Fetie is honestly one of the nicest people I have ever met. Even though she didn’t speak much English we managed to communicate well. She was a great host and her house was gorgeous. It was in a great location, only 10 mins drive away from Berat and surrounded by Olive trees and her chickens. Would 100% recommend to anyone. And her cat was adorable too!
- Hagar (10/5): - Fetty is an amazing woman. warm, funny and very welcoming. The accommodation is a room inside her home, also very welcoming, nice and clean. The garden is beautiful and Psika the cat is so cute! Warm recomadation❤️
- Renata (10/5): - Fetie is a very warm-hearted person. We felt like staying at grandma’s house. The breakfast was great, and the garden is beautiful. All the locals are very helpful. Nothing
- Steczek (10/5): - Przesłodka pani, mimo sporej bariery językowej pani była serdeczna i przemiła :) Miejsce w maire blisku zamku w Beracie, pyszne śniadanie z własnych składników pani :)
- Bryan (9/5): - An interesting place in the heart of Albania. Perfect place to connect with traditional and local experiences in a cozy farm near by Berat. Fetie is a wonderful host and makes you feel like a member of her family. She makes a big effort to help and addapt herself for the guests. She offers homemade food from her garden and she is a open minded and friendly person. The information on the profile wasn't specified, that the place is shared with the owner. Bathroom, kitchen and entrance are NOT private but common areas to share with the lady. This should aware other guests in case that someone is looking only for privacy. There was a big problem with language. The host doesn't speak English at all and with the technology was sometimes impossible to understand each other.
- Samuel (10/5): Fetie was so welcoming, and never let us go hungry. With lots of fresh fruit and a smile she gave us great value for mon -
- Sledi (10/5): -
- Angelica (8/5): Very good -
- Karolína (10/5): Perfect - Very nice old lady, who does not speak a word of english, but will do everything to make you feel like at home. Made me great breakfast, showed me old pictures, we had some good conversations, even tho we did not understand each other.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - Fetie was amazing since the moment we got to the property. Offered us fruits and snacks on arrival. Was always with a smile.
- Fredi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Benedetto (10/5): A peaceful retreat just outside Berat - Guest House Fetie was a wonderful find: easy to reach by car and neighbours and perfectly located away from the hustle and bustle of the city, as I was searching to rest well, yet still close to everything by car. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. They even helped me recover an item I had lost during my stay in Albania — a gesture I truly appreciated. A special thanks to Mrs. Fetie, who lovingly repaired a torn bag for me as a grandma. It's the little things that make a place unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and heartwarming experience. Honestly, there wasn’t a single thing I didn’t like — everything went smoothly and exceeded my expectations.
- Perparim (10/5): Exceptional - Different experience. Thank you !
- Zsolt (10/5): Exceptional - The hosting lady is a brilliant person and made me feel like I'm a part of her family. She also made a fantastic breakfast. My room was comfortable, tidy, clean. Everything was perfect. Hope to get back! Finding the property is a bit tricky. I would advice to signpost the location properly to avoid difficulties and doing circles around the neighbourhood.
- Bourdon (10/5): Exceptional -
- François (6/5): Pleasant -
- Caroline (7/5): A very Typical Albanian experience with a lovely caring host - Loved the cat and hospitality ,great breakfast and host fed us all fresh from her garden, pomegranate, grapes, mandarin, olives, eggs , fig jam
Thanks Fetia xx Was too far from Berat
It was a 15 minute walk to the bus stop and a 10 minute bus ride, once your out in town , it’s difficult to come back , then go back out again if you don’t have a car
Also there are no restaurant’s in the village,
A few LOCAL bars and small stores for snacks
It was very difficult to communicate as we don’t speak Albanian
It is a bedroom in the ladies home , with no privacy
- Zuzanna (10/5): Exceptional - We had a wonderful stay! We were welcomed incredibly nice by the host. The room is clean, big, comfortable and it has air conditioning. We really enjoyed the breakfast made with natural ingredients.
- Zuzana (10/5): A tranquil village place - Oh, where to start?! It felt like a visit at your grandparents house, thanks to Fetie, the owner. She treated us like her own, she was so very kind. Plus, in the morning she fed us breakfast - eggs by her hens, grapes from her garden, and melons, cheese and jam. We left fed and charmed by Fetie’s hospitality. 1000% recommended!
- Aleksander (10/5): Exceptional - Delicious breakfast and family atmosphere
- Joseph (10/5): excellent! - the woman running the guesthouse was extremely kind and welcoming, the food was delicious, and the location was very beautiful in a small village outside berat, reachable by bus or foot -
- Peter (8/5): Room in appartment with friendly
owner living there - As described in earlier comments, it is a room in a three(?) room appartment. An older, nice and friendly lady lives in the appartment. She doesn't speak English but with the help of Google translate and her niece on the phone we managed to communicate. And I left with a gift of grapes enough for two days. The description might lead you to believe that you have the appartment for yourself. But I had a good night there.
- Anne (8/5): Different! - Staying with an very nice elderly lady in her lovely small home. She spoke no English but served us a lovely breakfast. House set amount the vineyards, chickens, roosters, kittens. Not sure really. Did not expect to be staying in someone’s house but was actually a pleasant experience!
