- Belkis (10/5): Buena opción para alojarse en Puerto Viejo - Estaba en una zona tranquila y cerca de la playa chiquita. Llegamos tarde para hacer el check in pero no hubo ningún inconveniente, nos dieron las indicaciones claras para acceder a la habitación. Todo correcto

La almohada es demasiado grande y dura, super incómoda para dormir. Teniendo en cuenta que ponen 2 almohadas por persona, sería ideal que fueran de diferentes tamaños para poder elegir.

- S.H.B. (7/5): Mooie plek - De prachtige tuin, een bijzondere en heerlijke plek om te zijn. Het lekkere zwembad. We waren blij dat de eigenaar ons de mogelijkheid bood om te upgraden naar een huisje. Ons huisje had twee grote terrassen met veel privacy en meubilair, erg fijn. Zonder eigen vervoer is de locatie een beetje ver van de leuke plekken. Dit mooie resort verdient wat meer liefde. De eerste nacht verbleven we in een standaard kamer. Die vonden we erg gehorig en had weinig privacy. In ons huisje misten we goede gordijnen. Er hingen alleen doorzichtige witte dunne gordijntjes, waardoor het licht bleef. De tuinverlichting was de hele nacht aan.
- Magdalena (5/5): A budget resort close to the beach - Spacious, a nice beach short walk away. It had a pool which was a nice bonus to cool down after the day at the beach. The price was reasonable comparing to other properties in the area. There was nobody there to greet us after the arrival, we have only received instructions via Whatsapp regarding keys, code etc. It was difficult to sleep due to the monkeys constantly throwing the seeds on the roof of our property. The roof was leaking and our beds got soaking wet after the rainy night. The breakfast choice at the resort's restaurant was very limited, no gluten free choice and the staff wasn't English speaking so communication was difficult. The cleanliness of the property could be improved, there was visible mould on the windows etc.

- Saskia (9/5): Super schöne Unterkunft mit nahem Traumstrand - Die Anlage ist außergewöhnlich mit wunderschön angelegtem Garten, großem Pool, tollem Essbereich und sehr freundlichem Personal, Parkplätze auf dem Grundstück, ca. 5 Min zu Fuß zu einem Traumstrand, der sehr ruhig ist und ein mega Ambiente bietet. Unweit findet man einige Restaurants, kann aber auch sehr gut dort essen. Trinkwasser aus dem Spender gratis, vom Garten aus ließen sich Vögel, Agutis und Brüllaffen beobachten, am Strand haben wir ein Faultier auf einem Baum entdeckt, Frühstück war hervorragend, je nach Auslastung des Hotels gab es a la carte oder Buffet, Fahrräder wurden auf Anfrage für uns organisiert - top. Im Bad hat es sehr stark nach Reinigungsmittel gerochen, der Geruch verging auch nach Tagen nicht

- Aline (6/5): Mooie tuin en oké ligging met auto maar kamer wat aan de kleine kant en vernieuwing toe - De ligging en het mooie zwembad en tuin waar je dieren kunt spotten. Het ontbijt, weinig keuze maar wel heel lekker en vers Kamer redelijk klein maar zeker de badkamer! Veel vlekken op muren en hygiëne zoals haren op bed kunnen beter. Hang een spiegel in de kamer waar je je zelf volledig kunt zien (meer dan je hoofd).

La ducha tenía sarro, la puerta de la ducha estaba descuadrada, y el lavamanos estaba quebrado. El baño tenía olor a desagüe. A pesar de que el lugar tiene como nombre "hotel", no cuentan con servicio de limpieza diaria. Nuestras sábanas y toallas no fueron cambiadas, nuestra pieza no se aseó. Cuando consultamos sobre el servicio de limpieza a través del whatsapp, no recibimos ninguna respuesta. Se escuchaba todo desde la pieza conjunta. En tercer lugar y a mi parecer, un hotel es un lugar de descanso. Sin embargo, a la hora del desayuno se realizaban labores de jardín, como el corte de pasto con una máquina que no permitía una conversación a volumen normal. Por último, el personal se muestra totalmente indiferente al servicio para con los huéspedes. Recomendaría un poco más de hospitalidad y atención, que es lo que tanto caracteriza a Costa Rica. El hotel está alejado del centro, es necesario tomar un taxi.

- Carolina (9/5): Casa cómoda en el Caribe - Estaba cerca de la playa. Las habitaciones baon cómodas. Le falta un espejo grande, para verse de cuerpo entero,en alguna parte de la casa. Falta un tendedero portátil para poner a secar la ropa en el corredor Le faltan cuchillos en la cocina más apropiados para picar y cortar con filo adecuado.

Everything was very clean and the location in the jungle just marvelous. It still felt very private. The pool is also super beautiful. Would definitely come back

- Lukas (9/5): Ich würds wieder Buchen. - Sehr nettes Personal, schöne Anlage, gratis Kaffee, gutes Frühstück, late check in möglich :) Die Duscharmatur ist sehr umständlich (nur Regendusche), generell sehr enges Bad. Bei den Eingangstüren ist das Glas so vom Rahmen abgesetzt, dass man Personen hört die vorm Zimmer reden.

Leckeres Frühstück in geschmackvollen Ambiente. Sehr sehr nettes Personal immer mit freundlichen Tipps unterstützend. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft weiter, der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

- Mariel (9/5): Un hermoso lugar, con ubicación perfecta y rico desayuno - Muy hermosa, la ubicación es perfecta, lejos de todo pero al mismo tiempo lo suficientemente cerca, la piscina deliciosa, la habitación privada y espaciosa, teníamos el desayuno incluido y estaba riquísimo, y el personal muy amable Tuvimos el problema de que del baño salía un olor a tanque séptico, pero una vez que lo dijimos en recepción nos solucionaron el problema de inmediato, y recomendaría que el rotulito que dice sobre no hacer ruido para respetar a los demás esté también en inglés, está solo en español y tuvimos que decirle a una pareja que creo que eran rusos, que por favor no hicieran tanto ruido a las 5am porque ya era demasiado

- Stephanie (10/5): Toller Bungalow für erholsame Ferien. Es hat viel Tiete die man direkt auf dem Grundstück beobachten kann - Wir hatten den Deluxe Bungalow und der war einfach toll. Sehr geräumig mit Whirlpool. In 5 Minuten ist man einem ruhigen Strand. Wir hatten großartige Tage in Puerto Viejo Eine Hängematte wäre noch super gewesen.

Wunderschöne Gartenanlage mit schönem Pool und vielen Vögeln zum beobachten. Auch das Personal war sehr nett und es gab ein Super Frühstück zu genießen. Wir würden hier wieder buchen.

- Andrei (9/5): - Location of the hotel is in jungle, away from main street so you hear the sounds af nature (birds, monkeys walking on pur roof etc). They changed our room by request for a personal health issue and gave an entire house at the same price, for only 2 guests. The house is made of wood and with no windows(only nets instead) so you hear anything from outside (even the cars/motors from main street or road near). Two nights in a row a (quite big) cockroach “visited” me even in my bed and on my body(neck), but I suppose this is a price to pay when you’re immersed in jungle.

Our included breakfast would have cost $20 or more at a restaurant! Our last day there only one of the kitchen staff showed up but she handled it like a champion and our food was brought to us quickly and it was good and hot! The glass doors in the shower would not slide smoothly and caught every couple of inches. It wasn't an issue for us so we didn't say anything until the morning we checked out. The staff was appreciative for informing them.

- Gretchen (1/5): Horrible odor - Nothing The hotel has severe drainage and plumbing problems. There were cobwebs in the corners of the doors, a clear lack of care and cleanliness. Because of the drainage issue, the entire room reeked of sewage. The bathroom smell was unbearable, unacceptable. It was impossible to use the toilet comfortably or even be in the room with that odor. Words cannot describe such a horrible experience on the night of my birthday celebration. A cleaning problem this severe should be reported, investigated, and fixed. If it smells so bad that the sewage odor penetrates all of room #6, it's very likely that other rooms have the same drainage problem, and the fact that the receptionist couldn't help by calling maintenance at the time was also irresponsible and unacceptable. It seemed the only one interested in helping was the owner, obviously to avoid a complaint. I really appreciate the owner getting in touch, but unfortunately, that doesn't change my rating or my experience of the place. The receptionist said I could buy incense to put in the room; even with burning incense that smell was untolerable unbearable, didn’t get rid of the disgusting smell coming from the bathroom, which penetrated the entire room. It’s clear that the room was not checked by the staff before arrival. Also, as you leave the property, the trash is piled up next to the gate, which isn't good either. People have the right to know if there's anything wrong with the place they're considering staying.
- Maria (10/5): Maravilloso lugar para descansar, volvería de nuevo y a quedarme más días definitivamente!! - Me encantó que está rodeado de naturaleza y las casas mantienen cierta distancia así que no se escucha movimiento alrededor, un lugar muy relajante! Lo que podría ser mejor es un poco más de utensilios de cocina y de ser posible una arrocera era lo que faltaba.
