Enes (2/5): - Cennet mahallesi vari bir sokakta gece yarısına kadar gürültülü, rahatsız edici derecede pis ve küçük bir odada bir gece konaklamaya çalıştık. 7.4 puana aldanmayınız. Ayriyeten bol sigara kokusu üfleyen eski bir klima, sadece youtube a bağlanabildiğiniz televizyon, banyoda patlak bir duş başlığı ile keyifsiz bir konaklama oldu.

Antonio P.L. (6/5): Hotel con mala organización - Lo mejor es la ubicación, pese a estar en una calle que está bastante degradada. Sin embargo está bien comunicada con todas las zonas turísticas de Estambul. Además hay muchos restaurantes y tiendas cerca para cenar. En cuanto al hotel la habitación es la más pequeña en la que he estado nunca, solo cabía la cama y un metro a cada lado. Y un pequeño cuarto de baño. No correspondía con lo que reservé. El hotel no tiene recepción ni personal, y cuando llegué al meter el código en la habitación acordada resulta que estaba ocupada por otra persona. Nunca me había pasado algo así. Después de volver a contactar por teléfono con el encargado nos dieron como opción está pequeña y la acepté porque ya la había pagado previamente a través de Booking y no quería más líos. Lo que remató el despropósito es que a la mañana siguiente vinieron a nuestra habitación unos turistas italianos que decían que habían reservado nuestra habitación. Lo mismo que me pasó a mí el día anterior. Así que tuvo que llamar al encargado para que les diesen otra porque yo me negué a moverme otra vez a otra habitación La mala organización y las habitaciones minúsculas, al menos en la que yo estuve

Cmar (6/5): - The host was very communicative and quick to respond. Any issues that we had the host provided a lovely lady to come and fix for us within 30 minutes. The host provided us transfer for 2000 lira from the airport and there is a bus stop around the corner to get to the European side which is where most activities are. The bed was a very small double which would not fit a couple and my partner had to sleep on the sofa bed which is a large single size. Note that we had booked a family room which is meant for four people. Other things we noted were that on the description it says there are soundproof windows unfortunately they are not soundproof at all and you can hear children playing until 12 am. Perfect for budget travellers like us so thank you for a pleasant stay.

It's dirty, everyone sits on the street, garbage is thrown out of the windows. I had to come back for the light because I was scared.

The location was good, as it was at a walking distance to the Taksim Square. Only downside was the neighbourhood itself, but it still felt safe and people around were really friendly

Odamızı değiştirmek istediğimizi söyledik pencereli bir odaya aldılar en azından temiz hava alabiliyorduk ama evin konumu o kadar kötü ki sabah 4üne kadar gürültü konuşmalar bağırışmalar, hayatımın en kötü konaklamasıydı.

Klara (3/5): The room and location were good but terrible communication. - The location is good, close to main attractions and busses to take you to others. The room was good for the price. The communication was really bad. We got the automatic message one day before our arrival about our estimated time of arrival and details about our passports. We responded and didn’t get any answer. So I had to write them on whatsapp where I got the reply after 15hours. It was said that we get the password after we send the passport details. We didn’t get any passwords or room number and we got to the hotel where I wrote them and they didn’t respond. Luckily the cleaning lady was there to call them and let us in the room and after that we got passwords. They also told us we would have to change rooms the next day without any details to which room or at what time. And the whole next day no words from them so we didn’t even know what room will be getting, but after I wrote them they told us we can stay in that room. We got one and a half roll of toilet paper for the whole week for two. And after few days we asked for more toilet paper, which we got, but it was pushed on the outdoor door handle of the room and it was 3/4 of the roll. So we had to write again after some time for more and they said okey. We got in the room the next evening and there was no toilet paper. So we wrote them again and they responded with tomorrow, which means we had to use tissues. They didn’t change the sheets once but this is not such a big deal, but they should at least empty the trash sometime. I think they should really work on the communication with guests, especially since there is no reception and you can’t speak to anyone directly.
Shamali (4/5): Disappointing - It was okay as the apartment near public transport by waking distance and near to Galata tower. Around the apartment was dirty and noisy. Also we booked 2 rooms as we are 4 people however I got the 2 rooms on separate buildings not in same building and as i can see on my room details 1 room should be with a balcony and with city views but when I asked them they said they didnt get any balcony. Also, we kept feell like when we were not in an apartment, someone sneaked into the room.

Mark (10/5): - Perfect location for our stay, 10min walk to bars, restaurants and food outlets. Communication was first rate with late arrival issue sorted straight away. As for the accommodation, it was clean, modern and had everything required for our stay. The property has a very steep staircase and the surrounding area is situated on an incline. In my opinion this accommodation is only suitable to able bodied guests. Istanbul is an interesting and densely populated city, on that note some areas could be deemed daunting and unsafe. This property is located on a busy working street. At first glance it's a bit of an eye opener. At no time during my stay did I feel compromised over my safety. Istanbul doesn't seem to sleep, part of it lure and charm. For me Beans House ticked every box, thank you
TADASHI (8/5): - The room was clean, and the air conditioning was working properly. Though not luxurious, it’s great for the price. The only complaint would be how the shower space had no slides, making the whole bathroom soaked every time I used the shower.

Alexandru (6/5): Pleasant - The place is clean and you can tell they put some effort in this because otherwise there would be so many problems from the trash on the street. Also, I'm grateful for an early check-in. The staff was very nice. You can tell that it's located on a shady street but I didn't imagine how dirty and smelly the area is. People actually throw their trash on the window and the cats are ripping the bags and scatter it. But this is something to expect at this budget and location. But the worst was how noisy everything was. I stayed in room 1 which is right next to the entrance. Of course some guests are always loud and indifferent in any place and this can't be controlled but I've never stayed in a place so noisy since my hostel days. First, the windows have absolutely no soundproofing and anyone outside seems to be in the room. I was on the phone when someone was talking outside and I was asked who's that I'm with. It's worse with drunk people that pass the window during the night. Then, the main entrance, located at centimeters from the room, is a metal door and everyone is slamming it. I couldn't sleep because of this during the first nights. Of course you can't control other guests but something could be done with that metal door to offer a better experience. Because there will always be people who come back drunk at 3 in the morning or others that leave to the airport at that hout and slamming doors and suitcases. Another issue is that next to the main entrance, on the hallway, there's a switch with a light symbol. It's actually a ringbell that I could't figure out what purpose it has and where it's ringing. But it sounded like it's the doorbell to my room. And people were pushing it thinking it was a light switch. Again something that could be fix to improve the experience of the guest. Together with the beeping sound of the entry code because that is also pointless. During the sleepless nights I also noticed the annoying clicking noise of the motion sensor on the hallway that is not working properly and makes the light go on and off when it shouldn't.

Parisa (7/5): Good - The view, room size, its renovated and clean, lightening, location it terms of having good transportation and having supermarket and restaurants nearby. facilities could improve a bit more. In my opinion more dishes, cleaning facilities and products, chairs in terrace and regular cleaning with additional amenities. Also it should have been mentioned how many stairs are there to reach the 4th floor, they are very narrow and not comfortable to move there with big suitcase specially that there is no help with luggage.

Немного тяжело попасть в отель с чемоданами, так как находится на подъеме, и район немного пугающий. В целом все было чисто, очень компактная комната, даже для чемодана места мало было.

Seunghyeon (10/5): - The area, ironically, is very safe neighborhood than what it looks, and considering the price, it is definitely a place where you can enjoy the “local life,” but it is true that the neighborhood is dirty and looks sketchy. Also, the room looked clean at first, but there are some places that may not be as clean as it looks. Nonetheless, it is close to the local bus stops and not very far from Taksim square, so it is worth trying.

Lloyd (10/5): - Our room was small but very well kept. The surrounding area is made up of very narrow and steep streets. Interesting part of the city! Not your average hotel. The owner was very helpful a number of times.
