• Julius (6/5): Thank you for your help and my lodging - If you stay there it’s an okay Hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms aren’t that clean but it’s a passable hotel. I could leave my luggage there for the next day after checkout, that facilitated everything for me Cleanliness could be improved definitely

Other than that, the location is perfect, and stuff behavior is really good. Moreover, bookingcom pics and real-life pics are accurate. But it's a pretty busy place, so the background noise will not make you sleep for sure.

• Rubel (1/5): Fully waste of money - They took extra price of the given rent by Booking.com There Behaviour is very unprofessional as well as disrespectful to me. I was feeling insulted when they talk to me. In front of my spouse, that was a very shameful situation. They used very poor and disrespectful word and sign. The environment of room was disgusting. Unfortunately, I was not in that mood to capture real photo.

• Edward (8/5): Good budget stay with friendly staff. - We moved from Hotel71 over to Dhanmondi Lake View because we preferred a smaller and cheaper place. The receptionist, manager and the staff boys were all very kind, helpful and hospitable. You will find an elevator on the ground floor which takes you to the reception in the 4th floor (to the left when you exit the lift). Sometimes it's out of order. We looked at several rooms but decided for the more expensive family corner room 504 with two window fronts. Be aware that you should go for a room towards the backside of the building if you have a light sleep as the Dhaka traffic never ends. Room 504 was just in a better state and pretty large. Ask for the blue white striped sheets - they are new ;-). The beds were harder which I personally prefer. In room 504 you have a new TV, fan, A/C, large rubbish bin, windows to open, a bright bathroom, ok water pressure (just take off the shower head), the obligatory water bucket, 3 pillows on each bed, a clothes rack for wet shirts, a little sofa, small shelf with large mirror, new electricity plugs, wifi (works best at night - also enough for streaming) and two blankets. The area is quite ok and there is a chic restaurant next door called The Courtyard (if you want to afford that). A few convenience stores and veggie / fruit stalls on the street. Even (warm) beer you can buy on the opposite side of the street from 09:00 to 13:00 (except Fridays). We enjoyed the stay for a relatively good price as we looked for space. Thanks for hosting us! This review is for corner room 504 - family room with two Queen size beds. There are a few points which could be improved: - The floor is covered with laminate though there are proper tiles below. - Due to constant dust in Dhaka a bit of attention should go to swabbing the floors and sanitary facilities / provide clean towels, sheets and pillow cases. - The very cheap rooms need a make over. - Noisy front side rooms due all the lorries honking when passing by. - It seems there is a bit of renovation in progress so sleeping in the morning hours after 08:00 can be a challenge. To avoid that pick a room on the other side of the building next to the reception. It's a good place if you don't want to ruin your budget and you are only 300-400BDT (30mins during traffic) away from Old Dhaka.

• Ataur (8/5): Good enough for budget stays. - Location is good. Stuffs are supportive. No hassle for married couples. AC works fine, bathroom is clean. I am satisfied with their service in this price range. The blanket they provided was way too small for a couple. Quality of the bed sheet and towel could be better. This facility is located just beside a very busy road, so expect lot of traffic noise 24 hours.

• Fahim (8/5): Good - When I went there and told them that I had a reservation on my name , at first they agreed but then they said that they didn't have that room vacant then. And showed me a room which was slightly expensive, however, they didn't charge me extra.

Despite the cold weather, blankets were not provided, as we were informed they were out of stock. Additionally, none of the bathroom taps were functional, causing significant inconvenience. The room itself was exceptionally small, offering barely enough space for two people to stand comfortably.
