• Emmanuel (1/5): - I arrived the street in a taxi by some minutes past 1pm. Tried reaching out to the owner for the exact house number didn't pick for a while and finally she picked and said I should comeback by 2pm and she would give me the exact house number even after pleading as I was stranded in the cold. I had to take the taxi that brought me back to the airport where I stayed till the next day and took my connecting flight to Calgary.

The hotel. Com should not allow this kind of people present such an awful rooms to customer. Horrible experience. I am very disappointed

• jaswinder singh (1/5): I need refund - The bed sheet was dirty ,, and on a cool day ,, the air conditioning was on .. it was very cold … my guests were a A graded musician from India , so I had to book a hotel room from them ,,I do not want to put the place down ,, however my guest couldn’t stay there because it was too cold .. and there was no temp control in the room… may be I should get a refund

• Olugboyega (1/5): A nightmare and unpleasant place to me with not straight forward people - I don't like the property for anything. Right from the day I checked in, I observed a ritualistic flower on main door mouth and prior to that received a strange message not previously stated that I am not allowed to wear my shoes to the house, which I consider strange to a condition maybe religious attached to entering a public place paid for. I am not a Buddhist and don't think I should be forced to practice and observed the religious doctrines . On the whole, the management were so unrealistic and inconsiderate, with the way they handled my late checkout which after a lot of persuasion was extended for extra 2 hours, to my greatest surprise, even if they were to charge penalty fees of $20 per every extra hour, they should not have charged more than $40 but they were asking for $100 dollars which I objected to vehemently and advise booking. Com not to release any money from my account to them. The reason given for wanting to collect penalty fees which was earlier waived was on a false accusation of being rude. I never had any verbal conversation until the last day when I was requesting for late check out. I was never rude to the two people I spoke with, all my interactions were done in writing a message through their platform which is easily verifiable. My stay was not pleasant and so many distractions and bad policies in place. A bad experience and I will never go back there or advised anyone to stay, in actual fact for being a religious bigot and mixing religious sentiments and ethnic ideology with bussiness they should be removed from Booking. Messaged host to ask for towel and face cloth, and received no response. Suggest to have small table or desk and chair in room for eating or using a laptop or tablet. Not impressed and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

No towels, soap or extra linens. Get what you pay for… Had hoped for a comfy place for a very Swift stop over. Not relaxing!

• Stephen (7/5): Problems aside the room suited my purpose and the cost was very acceptable. I would book again. - Strip mall nearby which was convenient. Room was clean and other guests were quiet. I liked that we had to leave our shoes at the entrance. Nice to have a mini bar fridge and microwave in the room. With some exceptions at night the house was quiet overall. The neighbourhood itself is very nice and I felt safe walking at night. Far from downtown and VIA Rail station but close to cemetery, which was my primary destination. The bus to a Brampton transit terminal is nearby, although two bus trips are required to get downtown. Needed clearer information up front. Room key was in a drawer, under some stuff, but this information was not conveyed on arrival so I had no idea if I could lock my room. Actual address was not given until half hour before check in. You could inform guests that they should bring a face cloth and bath towel. Room could use a chair but that is minor point. I could hear the family conversation and smell the cooking from the family, which is fine, but it would be nice to know how the house is set up in advance. Being told this up front is much better than finding out on the day. Managing customer’s expectations is key.
