• claudio_nov (7/5): - El hotel está completamente aislado, y eso es positivo. Pero el personal en el bar hace pausa de 14 a 18 horas. No puedes beber nada durante ese periodo. Hay mucho mosquito. Es natural. Estamos en la naturaleza. Pero por lo menos deberían poner mosquiteros en la habitación.

Great staff (though they should add more people to give some breathing room, to the two people working the pool area/restaurant Feels a bit rundown and as if it’s not being maintained. Lots of loose wood boards in the pool area. We had booked Suite, but was given Junior Suites and some random explanation, that they were under renovation. They weren’t as other families lived in them.

• CAROL (8/5): - hôtel très tranquille, loin de tout belle plage bien entretenue, petite piscine agréable. l'hôtel met a disposition des chaussures de plage, des jeux, 2 canoës en libre service. la carte des menus est correcte avec du snack. le personnel est très gentil. le petit déjeuner est bon avec jus de fruit, fruit frais, toast et œufs. d'être obligé de prendre une lancha pour venir à l'hôtel alors que les locaux viennent en voiture. le chemin du village à l'hôtel n'est pas top mais accessible. la propina qui est ajoutée à la note d'office de presque 10%, alors que vous n'avez pas le choix de manger ailleurs. (celle-ci peut être refusée) la salle d'eau séparée du lavabo n'est pas pratique.

El mar es tan calmo ahí que se puede hacer kayak sin problemas! Si bien fui de Lun a Mier, éramos pocos hospedándonos y las instalaciones se disfrutaron de maravilla!. Las habitaciones muy bien y cómodas. Linda vista del balcón sea hacia el agua o hacia el patio con todo el verde. Los empleados, excelentes en su atención y amabilidad. La chef! IN CRE I BLE. Ya extraño sus platos. Les recomiendo contratar la movilidad ya sea terrestre como en lancha con el mismo hospedaje, tienen a choferes de su confianza, que son muy bien también! Fui sola, y todo el viaje me sentí muy segura y tranquila. Claro que volvería! Gracias!

• Amalia (8/5): - We stayed in a beautiful and small paradise. There were only a few extra guests and this made us a feel as if we were in our own island :) The staff was great, in particular Edwin who not only welcomed us at the hotel, but he looked after us during the whole stay. He was very kind and attentive, always on the top of everything with our requests. He was the receptionist, the manager, the bartender, he was everything. We have really appreciated whatever has done for us, from our funny arrival till the very end of our holiday. The food was delicious, a big selection to choose from and affordable prices. There was a bit of misunderstanding about the directions of the hotel as this can and MUST be reached exclusively by boat. The room was great but the windows were not very isolated, with some spaces, which unfortunately allowed mosquitos to easily enter the room, and not even the fan or AC would help to get rid of them :(

• Tania (8/5): - La ubicación es perfecta muy tranquilo sin nadie que te moleste el personal muy amable Primero la piscina deberían de limpiarla un poco a cada ciertas horas ya que se mete mucho bicho segundo por el precio que tiene la comida debería de venir un poco más por raciones ya que es caro y viene poca comida está buena eso si tercero el desayuno es pobre no lo siguiente por lo que te cobran por noche mínimo que puedas pedir algo más o que ponga un poco tipo buffet el desayuno es de lo peor te quedas con hambre seguro.

Si se busca un lugar tranquilo es una excelente opción. El transporte... llegar y salir del hotel es muy complicado.. la mejor opción es contratar transporte directamente desde el aeropuerto aunque no es económico... buscar transporte de otra forma es muy muy muy difícil y puede salir mas costoso...

Zum Baden ideal. Für Familien mit kleinen Kindern auch empfehlenswert. Das Wasser muss im Hotel gekauft werden. Das sollte für den Preis der UNterkunft inklusive sein. Es empfiehlt sich, bei der Einreise genug Wasser und Snacks einzukaufen.

Mais le point fort, ce sont les qualités du personnel: Valeria, efficace et souriante, Maroli, championne des cocktails, toujours prête à rendre service avec le sourire, Ebrim, calme et indulgent avec les enfants, Carmen et ses doigts de fée, sur le salon de massage sur la mer, et Marie Isabelle, qui laisse la chambre impeccable. Merci aussi à Donaldo, pour sa bonne humeur et sa gentillesse au cours de l’excursion que nous avons faite avec lui. Nous ne nous sommes pas sentis clients dans cet hôtel, mais accueillis comme des amis. Évidemment rien.

• Lorena (8/5): Stunning Location, Limited Food and Water Access - We traveled as a family, and the beach was quiet, safe, clean, and beautiful. The sea is calm, so you can swim peacefully with your children, feeling safe at all times. The place is truly beautiful. The property is beautiful, but don’t travel expecting to do anything other than rest, because going elsewhere is difficult and quite expensive. My recommendation is to visit at the end of your trip rather than at the beginning. The restaurant has a very limited, expensive menu and does not allow you to bring your own food. Honestly, I went hungry—being at the beach really increases your appetite, and I was also traveling with a child. In addition, since the area does not have potable water, they only give you one welcome bottle. They don’t sell large bottles, so you end up buying very expensive small ones all the time. Which also contaminates a lot! The hotel should invite guests to buy refills for their bottles, but honestly, that amount of PET bottles per person is huge. My suggestion would be to provide at least one bottle per night. For families, this becomes extremely expensive. Water is not a luxury; it’s a necessity. I understand the scarcity in the area, but the nightly rate is not cheap, and at the very least, they should replace one bottle each night you pay.

Het hele complex is aan vervanging toe. De huisjes zijn aftands en vies. Bijna alle rolgordijnen in ons huisje waren kapot en zaten onder de schimmel.

• Lawrence (10/5): Fabulous stay, great food, safe and secure location - Fabulous Staff, beautiful Location, peaceful and serene
• Ophélie (10/5): Deux nuits ressourçantes - L’hôtel est vraiment très mignon et ressourçant. Les chambres sont très jolie et propre. Les repas sont bons et le prix est raisonnable. Les excursions proposées sont très biens et on peut faire des activités gratuitement (canoë). C’est un endroit top pour 2 ou 3 jours de repos. Vous devrez passer obligatoirement par l’hôtel pour y accéder (taxi + bateau) et le trajet n’est pas donné. Il faut bien savoir qu’une fois à l’hôtel vous ne pouvez plus en sortir librement mais c’est ce qui fait son charme. On aurait apprécié avoir de l’eau chaude mais si on comprend que cela va avec la situation de l’hôtel. Attention aux moustiques qui sont voraces !

Es gibt nur die Möglichkeit im Restaurant vor Ort zu essen. Die Auswahl ist sehr gross und die Preise sehr fair sowie sehr lecker! Sie geben sich sehr mühe, alles schön und sauber zu halten und da es nicht allzu viele Zimmer gibt, ist es auch nicht überfüllt. Es gibt nichts negatives.

• Annika (8/5): Trabquilidad y lugar excelentes. Localización buena y mala según gustos. Restaurante caro. - El hotel es excepcionalmente tranquilo. La localización es bastante remota, pero si busca tranquilidad es de lo mejor que tiene. El lugar es precioso y lleno de animales (pelícanos, periquitos, guacamayas, tortugas, geckos…). Las instalaciones están en buen estado (salvo contadas excepciones) y siempre hay 1 o 2 personas para poder reparar cosas. El restaurante tiene una buena selección de comidas y es a la carta. La calidad de la comida es muy buena. La localización es muy remota. El acceso por tierra es impracticable para vehículos normales y el acceso por mar es caro, lo que obliga a comer en el restaurante del lugar prácticamente siempre. El precio del restaurante es bastante caro en comparación al precio normal en el país.

La comida es costosa para lo que se recibe. Al reservar el hotel se ha comunicado conmigo para acordar la hora de llegada; el trato fue un poco rudo e insistente para asegurar que tomara un bote de un aliado que te lleva desde el pueblo de Barú hasta el hotel; Al final se podía ir en carro pero te ponen en situación que solo existela opción del hotel. Ya sin poder ingresar en mi carro quedas "amarrado" al hotel; y sujeto a los planes del "aliado" del bote.

• Paola (8/5): Un lugar para desconectarse - Me gusto el servicio y atención del hotel, las camas cómodas, paisaje hermoso. Vimos guacamayas :) Es un lugar para descansar, tranquilo y lindo. En la parte de atrás del hotel, hay un árbol inmenso ¡Vayan y abrásenlo! La vista es hermosa se ve el mar infinito. Algunos platos que pedimos por ejemplo el Risotto y la Cazuela tenían muy poca proteína. Las carimañolas y la arepa de huevo son espectaculares, el desayuno también muy rico ¡No duden en pedirlas! Tener en cuenta los costos adicionales para llegar al lugar por ejemplo el transporte ida y regreso. Deben tomar un carro hasta Barú en promedio 190.000 COP y luego una lancha 25.000 COP por persona. La playa no es tan grande, es pequeña, el color del mar no es azul turquesa es verdoso, hay muchas plantas y ramas.

Los costos adicionales ala reserva superan por lejos a la tarifa de la estancia de 2 noches, en 2 cenas modestas de 2 noches y el transporte ida y vuelta gastamos 999,000 (novecientos noventa y nueve mil pesos) muy adicional ala reserva de la habitación, la señora de los desayunos muy déspota y desatenta para con el celular tal es que ni cuenta se dio que no teníamos azúcar para el desayuno ambas mañanas. El paisaje nada agradable es mejor los hoteles a mar abierto no recomiendo ese lado de la isla las aguas muy turbias a diferencia del otro lado que es mar abierto y de color turquesa.
• KILLIAN (4/5): - Le cadre exceptionnel et la literie, avec un lit vraiment confortable. Douche avec peu de pression, difficilement réglable avec un temps d'attente assez long pour avoir de l'eau chaude. Nous sommes arrivés à 11h30 et nous avons eu les clés de notre chambre à 15h.
• Joanna (8/5): Beautiful place - Lovely quiet location, very picturesque. Very pleasant 2 night stay after a period of travelling. We read our books and relaxed on the beach. Comfortable, clean rooms with fab views. We swam one day, but water was too rough to swim or kayak on the other days. (We hadn't realised October was rainy season!) Food was lovely and the manager (Ebrim?) went out of his way to set up a beautiful romantic table setting for us. As others say, the journey takes 2 hours (including 15 minute boat ride), but is hassle free if you organise through the accommodation. Recommended for a relaxing break. Good value. Our only complaint was the weather, which isn't the fault of the accommodation. Don't expect crystal clear, blue water....I think that's on the opposite side of the peninsula. The accommodation is set inside a small area, so don't plan long walks.

• Clothilde (10/5): Très agréable et reposant - Étant les uniques clients en ce temps de basse saison, c'était très calme et le personnel de l'hôtel était aux petits soins. La literie est très confortable, les chambres ont la climatisation et il y a l'eau chaude dans la salle de bain. Tous les plats de la carte que nous avons essayé étaient délicieux. La coordination des transports était parfaite. Rien. Dans l'annonce, ce n'était pas clairement explicite qu'il fallait rejoindre l'hôtel par bateau. (10 min depuis le village)

• Ana (10/5): - L'attention du personnel, professionnel et à l'écoute. Petit bémol l'eau chaude n'a jamais fonctionné a part ça notre séjour à été inoubliable, tout a été mise en place pour nous faciliter et apporter tout l'aide en question de logistique, transport, checkin, check-out, animations, excursions, etc. Nous avons profité des massages par des mains prodigieuses dans un cadre magnifique, des kayaks à disposition, table de ping-pong et plein d'autres jeux, Le calme, le silence, l'ambiance de nature et de relaxation font un séjour reposant et ressourçant. Barú est réputé pour ses plages de sable blanc et eaux turquoises malheureusement l'emplacement de l'hôtel est situé du côté où on ne retrouve pas ses caractéristiques, le côté positif est le partenariat avec des transporteurs locaux (que je remercie pour son sérieux et sa sympathie) pour faire des excursions du côté islas del Rosario que sont le rêve des plongeurs

• Ana (9/5): Un hotel precioso - El alojamiento es precioso, las instalaciones limpias y cuidadas, perfecto para desconectar unos días. Creo que es incluso más bonito en la realidad que en las fotos que muestran en la página. El personal muy atento siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Las comidas es otro punto fuerte, al igual que los zumos o jugos… todo muy bueno y lo comes en una mesa frente al mar. Ya que está aislado y la idea es pasar los días en el alojamiento, tienen alguna cosa para entretenerte como kayak, bádminton, petanca… que puedes utilizar por tu cuenta. Nosotros usamos todo. Al no poder moverte del alojamiento no tienes opción de salir a pasear a otro lugar o a otro restaurante. Pero a nosotros no nos importó porque la idea era relajarse y desconectar.

• Ines (8/5): - Sehr schöne Lage, ruhige Atmosphäre und gepflegte Gartenanlage. Im Zimmer gab es zusätzlich zur Klimaanlage einen Ventilator an der Decke, den wir bevorzugt haben. Für uns war perfekt, dass man Fenster öffnen kann, um unser Moskitonetz anzubringen, da wir nicht mit Klimaanlage schlafen möchten. Das Frühstück war gut, wahlweise Kaffee/Schokolade, dazu immer ein Glas Saft, Obst und abwechselnd Rührei, Spiegelei, Ei im frittierten Teigmantel. Die Tische waren sehr ansprechend mit liebevollen Accessoires wie Muscheln, Tischläufer, frische Blumen in einer Vase, Kerzen....geschmückt. Boule/Tischtennis/Federball/Kajak/Strandhandtücher sind inbegriffen im (recht teuren) Unterkunftspreis. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Arbeit von Evri. Er war freundlich, korrekt, hat wunderschöne Drinksdeko aus Limetten gemacht und war immer bereit, zu helfen oder eine Lösung zu finden (z.B. als Wasser in unserer Dusche nicht ablief und sich im Zimmer ausbreitete). Er gibt sich sehr viel Mühe. Das Wasser im (Mangoven)Meer mag zwar nicht so klar sein wie an anderen Stränden in Baru, aber sauber und prima zum Schwimmen - ganz ohne Motorbootlärm/Dieselgestank. Die Info, dass die Anfahrt nur mit Boot (kostenpflichtig 25.000 COP pro Person) möglich ist, sollte bereits bei der Booking.com- Beschreibung stehen. Wir hatten (im WLAN) kurzfristig gebucht für den gleichen Tag und da wir keine mobilen Daten haben, erreichte uns diese Info nach Buchung nicht. Unser Fahrer kämpfte sich durch überflutete Straßen bis ca 1,5 km vor der Unterkunft die Straße unpassierbar wurde. Unser Fahrer versuchte die Unterkunft telefonisch zu erreichen, hatte aber auch keinen Empfang. Zufällig kam ein junger Mann mit Moped vorbei und konnte einen von uns mit dem Rucksack mitnehmen. Die Unterkunft zeigte allerdings kein Interesse zu helfen, war ziemlich desinteressiert. Der Mopedfahrer musste nochmals fahren, was natürlich bei dem unwegsamen Gelände ohne Helm mit Gepäck gefährlich war. Ich denke, hätte Evri an dem Tag Dienst gehabt, er hätte eine Lösung gefunden. Stattdessen war eine arbeitsunwillige, recht unfreundliche Frau da zum Einchecken, die am selben Abend auch gleich das falsche Essen (höherer Preis) in die Kasse getippt hatte. Es wäre ideal, wenn an den Fenstern Moskitonetze wären, dann würde es in Dusche/WC nicht so muffig riechen. Die Preise sind sehr hoch, eine 0,5 Liter Wasserflasche kostet 8000 COP. Allerdings muss alles mit dem Boot gebracht werden, dann sind die Preise besser nachvollziehbarer.

• sarah (5/5): - Das Hotel lädt zum Entspannen ein. Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Abzocke! Zum einen ist man auf den Transport mit Boot angewiesen und muss dafür zahlen. Die Information dazu kam allerdings viel zu spät.. nachdem wir es gebucht hatten. Wir hatten ein Auto gemietet. Der Transfer zum Hotel kostet extra Geld, was ebenfalls eine absolute Frechheit ist. Man sitzt mehr oder weniger in dem Hotel fest. Daher ist man auch auf die Getränke sowie das Essen angewiesen. Der Preis ist ok. Etwas teurer als woanders, aber OK. Die Portionen sind aber sehr klein - mein Partner ist nie wirklich satt geworden. Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Liegen zum Teil kaputt, der Pool bräuchte auch eine Erneuerung. Der Strand ist schön, das Wasser lädt aber nur bedingt zum Baden ein. Es ist sehr trüb. Das Personal ist freundlich, versteht aber nur Spanisch. Nochmal würde ich nicht so viel Geld dafür ausgegeben. Für das Geld hätten wir in einer anderen Ecke etwas deutlicher besseres bekommen.
• Lilian (9/5): Desconexión y relajo asegurado - Me encantó que estaba lejos de todo, que era súper exclusivo porque habíamos 15 personas app en todo el alojamiento. La playa, aunque no tenía el color turquesa de otros sectores de Baru si tenía su encanto. La posibilidad de usar artículos acuáticos, incluido kayak sin costo. Agradezco la amabilidad de todo el personal. El lugar posibilita el relajo y la desconexión. Tiene luz y buen wifi sé que en otros sectores de Baru a veces no están asegurados estos servicios necesarios. Lo malo son 2 cosas: la cantidad de mosquitos, pero eso no depende del alojamiento y el camino si es que quieres llegar por tierra es realmente casi intransitable el último tramo. Mejoraría también el desayuno ya que no te ofrecen más de una opción, uno de nuestros amigos era alérgico al huevo y no nos ofrecieron más opciones.

• Olaf (8/5): Heerlijke rustige plek voor 1,2 dagen. - Locatie, afgelegen, lekker eten, aardige bediening Bedden waren echt hard, en omdat de ombouw van een soort riet was kraakte het echt enorm. Nadat je boekt krijg je pas bericht dat je het eigenlijk niet met de auto kan bereiken. Dat moet via boot. Dat kost natuurlijk extra tijd en geld. Achteraf kan je gewoon met taxi laten ophalen.

Meals were lovely except there was no choice guy or breakfast and some of the evening nealscwere not available. I think the listing should disclose before you book that to get to the property you need to catch a taxi and a boat transfer which takes 2 hours from Cartagena.

Además, la comida es deliciosa, en especial el risotto a la cartagenera. El color del mar es totalmente distinto al de la playa tranquila de barú y el exceso de conchas en la orilla.
