- Diana (10/5): - Our stay at Mamma Marya Hotel was excellent and fully met our expectations. The staff was absolutely perfect — very kind, helpful, and professional throughout our entire stay. We especially appreciated that we were allowed to check in earlier than the official check-in time, which made our journey much more comfortable. On top of that, we received a complimentary room upgrade, which was a very pleasant surprise and significantly improved our experience. Overall, we were very satisfied and felt very comfortable during our stay. If we return to this area again, we will definitely choose this hotel once more. We can highly recommend it. The only small detail is that the beds are a bit on the soft side, as I personally prefer a firmer mattress.
- Yasmin (10/5): Amazing location and staff- will stay again if I can return to Turkey! - Awesome location and staff! Heaps of eating places literally down the road to minutes away from the hotel- Turkish and South Asian cuisines. There’s a market every Thursday along the road off the hotel and heaps of clothing shops are open along that street selling stuff on the cheap till late at night. There’s public transport 2 minutes away from the hotel and the hotel is within walking distance (15-20 mins) to Food Street and the Egyptian/Spice/Grand Bazaars. Self service laundromat nearby, playground nearby and heaps of cute and friendly cats hang around outside or on the street off the hotel ❤️ Very friendly staff as well- Omar was super friendly and kind- he upgraded our rooms without added cost and was very helpful and chatted with us while we waited until 9pm for our flight home! Props to Muqadads as well for being such a kind and friendly cleaning staff! Highly recommend for the staff, location and cats! Wish I didn’t have to leave tbh haha

У нас была длительная пересадка в Стамбуле, успели и поспать и обойти ближайшие достопримечательности. Отличный душ и кондиционер. Рядом вся необходимая инфраструктура. Сотрудники отеля очень гостеприимные. Однозначно рекомендую.

I only wish that I had time to go to the Turkish baths.

- وليد (10/5): كنت قد حجزت غرفة صغيرة لنا كزوجين ، و لكن تم اعطائي و ترقيتي لجناح كبير ، و أشكرهم على كرمهم و طيبهم - الفندق بصراحة نظيف ومريح جدا ، وتعامل الموظفين وخاصة عمر ممتاز جدا ، المكان يوجد حوله العديد من المحال التجارية و المطاعم ، موقع الفندق في مكان قد يكون ضيق ، لكن لا تقلق فكل شيء جميل و قريب منك الأماكن السياحية ، و سيارات الأجرة توصلك إلى موقع الفندق ، و عن طريق المشي و بمساعدة جوجل ماب سيوصلك للأماكن السياحية ، السعر مناسب وممتاز جدا مع نظافة المكان ، عمر شاب طيب سيساعدك في كل ما تريد ، سأعود له مرة أخرى بإذن الله

- Julien (10/5): Very nice - The receptionist Mr Omar was very keen to help, always smiling, and speaks good english. Omar also arranged my hotel transfer at a very competitive price. The hotel itself is very cosy, and does have a lift. The room I had was a double with seaview. This room was very nice. With a view of the Bosphorus. The room was clean and the staff were happy to assistant is any issues ( thanks God I had none to report) The hotel location is in nice location with plenty of shops and an animated popular pedestrian area for dinning. However, I found the restaurants to be expensive so be careful. My stay was good value for money! The internet was a bit slow only 12Mbs.

Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert! - Der Besitzer Baran ist ein sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber und bereit bei allen Fragen zur Unterkunft oder Erkundung der Stadt zu helfen. Man kann sich vertrauensvoll an Ihn wenden, zum Beispiel um einen Flughafentransfer zu fairen Preisen organisiert zu bekommen. Die Zimmer sind wie beschrieben, alles ist sehr sauber. Sehr gute Ausgangslage um die Altstadt von Istanbul zu erkunden. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten (Hagia Sofia, Blaue Moschee, Großer Bazar, Gülhane Park, ...) ist fußläufig in ca. 30 min erreichbar. In der nahen Umgebung gibt es etliche Restaurants und Supermärkte. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind unmittelbarer nähe, die nächste größere Station Yenikapi ist in 15 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Das angebotene Frühstück ist in einem anderen (sehr nahem) Restaurant. Eine Lösung direkt im Hotel wäre angenehmer aber angesichts des begrenzten Platzes auch schwierig umsetzbar.

My room was clean and quiet, perfect for a good night's sleep. The staff's welcome and helpfulness were warm and generous. I especially appreciate Omar, whose kindness I will always remember. Definitely recommended.

A special thank you goes to Omar, who was incredibly helpful with everything we needed. He is very dedicated, professional, and clearly takes his job seriously. We really appreciated his support throughout our stay. We hope that next time we visit, we’ll find him as the manager :). Overall, a very pleasant experience and we would definitely recommend it. The only small thing that could make the experience even better would be having coffee available at the hotel. It would have easily been a 10+ stay. However, following our suggestion, they mentioned that they are planning to arrange a dedicated coffee area in the lobby soon, which is a great improvement.

Trotzdem ruhig! Sehr nettes Personal! Das Zimmer ist nicht besonders groß. Und die Dusche war mir nicht ganz heiß genug - war aber ok

- rudy (10/5): Try it, you'll love it. - The staff was really competent, smiling, willing to help, especially Omar, at reception desk. The confort of the pillows were actually amazing, the bed was good, and the shower was purely a pleasure. The room size was quite good for me, and my categorie wasn't the biggest one. The location is perfect to visit the old town, as it is only 10 min walk from the blue mosque. ENGLISH SPOKEN FLUENTLY THERE. 5th floor gives you the view i had on the pic, city view Not much, just a few things about equipment could be done to make it perfect, but at the price i have paid, it was really perfect.

- Felipe (8/5): Excelente Ubicación, Personal muy Amable - El Hotel es Pequeño, el personal que nos atendió fue muy amable y dispuesto a ayudarnos, nos pareció una muy buena Ubicación no estaba en el centro historico mismo, con una caminata de unos 20 minuto estabas ahí aprovechando de conocer las calles del Estambul más antiguo, además había muchos restaurantes alrededor donde comer hasta tarde y tomar desayuno, nosotros eramos 4 por lo que la habitación se hizo un poco estrecha, pero estuvo todo muy bien Se podria mejorar el servicio de Mucamas, nuestra habitación solo la limpiaron 1 día de los 2 que estuvimos, para solicitar vasos y hielo no fue fácil, creo que ahi hay espacio de mejora

- Amran (1/5): Be ware! This place is a ripoff - Nothing worth mentioning Deceptive staff. No running water. No cable. The property knows about no running water but does not earn customers. Basically stealing your money. Imagine yourself on a vacation, upon checking in you find out there is no running water I definitely. Housekeeping does not change bedsheets.
