• Ricardo (2/5): I felt let down by the expectations displayed on the website. - The place was clean, The front desk staff polite To enter the hotel is very difficult, there were numerous doors that needed to be opened which required locks and codes. The bed is relatively low, and the mattress was very thin. For older people, this created back pain and discomfort. It was advertised that this place was located 5 minutes from downtown, but it ended up being much further. There wasn't any silverware available. It was my understanding that this was a hotel, however, it felt like an Air B&B without proper assistance or guidance from staff.

• Colleen (9/5): Lovely clean appartment in Magenta - Lovely clean, compact flat. Perfect location. Thank you The instructions on first entry were a bt confusing. We arrived when the doorman was on & he let us in. Although very safe and quiet once checked in.
• Maria (6/5): Tranquilidad garantizada, aunque con detalles a mejorar - Lo que más nos gustó del apartamento fue la seguridad del lugar, nos transmitió mucha tranquilidad y también el baño está muy bien equipado y en buenas condiciones. Algo que mejorar sería la cama ya que nos resultó bastante incómoda, lo que dificultó el descanso. El aire acondicionado no funcionaba correctamente lo que hizo que la habitación estuviera menos confortable.

• Julia (10/5): An excellent stay in Milan. - The location was excellent, very near to Cadorna train station where we could get the train to Lake Como easily. Very near to central places and shops. The famous painting of the Last Supper is round the corner from this property.

• Tatiana (9/5): Superb - Location. There is no staff in place. Everything is on line and the link didn't work well. Francesco was very irritated. We sent pictures of our passports. The security guard of the building didn't speak English but still was nice and took city tax payment for the company he doesn't work for. I didn't know how to turn on the cook top, Francesco sent me instructions on YouTube in Italian and different cooktop, so I found it by myself on Internet. Utensils were in the side drawer and we couldn't find it. ( Maybe it's easier to print all information and keep the welcome packet in the apartment?)
• Mkrtchyan (9/5): Superb - The location was very good and easy to reach. The place was clean. To get inside you need to go through a couple of steps which also includes calling by the registered number. For the foreigners that don’t have roaming this can be a huge problem.

However, once mastered, we appreciated the security this provided and we managed ok…. We could not locate the cutlery, which I note other reviews have commented upon too. It is there, but not in a logical spot. Suggest clearer communication re this. Spacious room. Host contactable. Great location - EXCELLENT! Very clean, safe and convenient. As mentioned, communication re entry was a little clumsy and cutlery location was hard to find. We found it expensive, but it was Milan!!
• Andrea (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, modern apartman. Very close to Cadorna station, easy to reach the Malpensa airport from here or go to Como by train. Also good location to go sightseeing in Milan. I was afraid of the access but it wasnt as complicated, we didn't have any issue.

Some of the people in the building make noise very early in the morning. Like doing yard work, cleaning etc at 6:30am making noise and disturbing.

• Angelica (9/5): Great location near train station in the middle of Milan. - It was a 7 min walk to the train station. There was a late night gelato place nearby (open past 11pm). Very central and safe. There was no silverware in the room, but it had basically everything else.

• Damnjanovic (7/5): It would’ve been amazing if it wasn’t so stressful because of the entrance to the apartment. Besides this, the host Elen - The apartment was super clean and comfy, the location was very convenient and close to metro station. We had a lot of issues with the entrance to the building being that we not provided the key. We got locked inside two front door since there was no doorman at that point and also the system with dialing the local number to enter did not work so we had to contact the host after which we got the keys.

• Edward (8/5): Nice stay, good price, good unit - The unit was quite large and the bathroom was very nice with a great shower and plenty of space. Entry wasn’t nearly as complicated as it was made out to be and the keyless check in and entry worked fine. The gent working the front door was helpful and pleasant too. Good location near Cadorna Station and a short distance from the major sights. Everything worked fine and the bed was very comfortable. Lots of pillows are a plus! Only complaint is that there turned out to be no silverware. Not a big deal as I was able to get some, but would be helpful to stock some forks and knives.

Fairly residential area, with several little bars/pasticceria/restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Also, only a 20-minute walk to the Duomo The apartment is located within a secure courtyard with several security levels, which was fine once we negotiated it first time around! It was the first time we had stayed in a serviced apartment, so we weren't sure what to expect, but certainly a soft seat to sit on.... There was a table & chairs for 4, but only 2 (plastic) glasses & 2 mugs. The bed has a tempura mattress, which we had considered buying ourselves, but I am now glad we did not purchase. It's personal choice.... Our first night was quiet, considering we were in a city, but last night was different, plus the apartment above had someone walking around in high heels in the evening, then we awoke around 4am with them clattering around & banging doors! I know this could happen anywhere, but with tiled floors and little insulation, it was very noisy at that time of the morning.

• Susan (8/5): Great space close to Metro - The hosts at Boccacio's Flats were amazingly attentive and responsive. The room was large with a comfy bed, a table and a small kitchenette. Quiet and safe. Very close to the Metro and easy to find. The neighborhood had one of the best Gelato places ever: Chocolat Milano (https://www.chocolatmilano.it/) along with many other restaurants worth investigating. I thought the room could use a luggage rack and a couple of comfy chairs in the larger space. This is not a deal breaker, just an observation as I would definitely stay here again.

Quiet neighborhood, grocery store it in 4 min walking distance. Nice small kitchen with everything you need. Really clean apartment and bathroom with a good size shower.

• Smita (8/5): Perfect location to explore Milan and apartment is very clean and comfy however please check entry protocol - Located so close to the train station, restaurants, cafe etc made this place an awesome base to explore Milan. The bed was comfy and the whole place was clean. Room look exactly as in photos. I would like to stay there again if i come back to Milan only if the entry protocol to the building changes to a more simple way to access. Entering the property was stressful as I ran out of credit on my phone and couldn’t recharge however in the end managed to sort it out. If you plan to stay here, make sure you have SIM card that works and have credit otherwise you can’t get in. You have to make a call at 2 points to enter the building then you have to enter codes at 2 different points to enter the room. Total of 4 times to finally get into the room which was absolutely unnecessary for someone on holiday. Hopefully Francesco changes this to a swipe card or tag to make the process easy. People having to enter codes twice before getting into their room was super noisy in the morning, again a swipe card would make this place much better to stay
• Bettina (4/5): Disappointing - Location was good. The cleaning crew maintained a clean area. The apartment is overpriced, way smaller than the pictures make it out to be (definitely used the fish lens/0.5 lens to appear bigger), the bed is super stiff and uncomfortable. They only provide a tiny shampoo bottle and hand soap, no body soap. The main halls of the building had a bad sent to them. The opening/closing of the door is dependent on you having cellular data/phone. If you do not have a cellular plan in Italy DO NOT BOOK here, it will be impossible for you to enter the hotel. It is not easy - definitely read instructions super well when booking. I read this in a lot of the reviews and thank God I did because it is really the hardest rental to access. If it is way overpriced for what you get - not worth the value. The management is not responsive via messages - only thing they helped with was adding a European number for me to be able to open the door. The CHECKOUT IS SUPER EALRY - 10am... earliest checkout ever so consider this when booking. I asked for a "late" checkout and the latest they let me do was 10:30am....
• Natalia (4/5): Nice accommodation but a too complex check-in procedure - The room was quite new. The location was comfortable, close to a metro station. The main delusion was the check-in process and the process of getting inside. Some previous feedbacks in Booking do describe the procedure, but the ranking is still high. The issue is that it took us really a lot of time to do the check in and even to upload the selfies. The instructions how to get to the building are complicated. another issue is that you must call from the phone which was used for the booking in order to get the door opened. In case you have any issue with the phone (for example it is simply out of battery) there is no way to get inside. I would understand such a solution for arranging the entrance for a low cost accommodation, but the price was quite high.

The host was responsive when I had to contact him for questions. Good value for money. The process to get into the apartment is a bit cumbersome and it requires to use the mobile phone.

If you read the instructions on how to enter the establishment then you will have no trouble with the procedure. We felt safe and comfortable. The area is ideal as you can take the metro from Cadorna and go everywhere in no time. I definitely recommend it!

Not convinient access - at least three different doors with locks before you get to the entrance door of the apartment. Once one of these doors locked me in the small coridor and i couldn't get out for an hour..

The way to get into the building as well. The instructions were wrong. The instructions informed that I was supposed to dial on my phone a number that started with +39 and that is not correct! The correct number starts with 340. Even the janitor had a hard time understanding it and only after calling the host we could figure out what we were supposed to do. I suggest changing it.

Lovely big bathroom and plenty of space throughout. It was clean and had a good wardrobe for clothes. Everything was in good order, nicely decorated and a great touch with murals of historic places on the wall. Nearby places for breakfast and within walking distance to Brera and lots of interesting architecture round about. Tram stops nearby. I really liked it. Take heed and watch the video link that is sent to you on how to get into the property. Take note of the numbers and pay attention on how to access the property because it’s like trying to get into Fort Knox. I cannot stress this enough!! This property is not manned. The walls are thin, so you can hear what others are up to!!

Wish there would have been written instructions on how to use the heating/ ac system; it was by remote control that we didn’t see until the second day. Check in was ok. - there was some guy at the front reception who let us in. Out of hours there is no one at reception and we couldn’t get in. Instruction tell you to call a local Italy number while ushing numbers on the key/pad entry. It was impossible for us as I disconnected my out of country long distance phone carrier due to extreme high charges. We were locked out over 30 minutes until we could get into the room. - they resolved the problem right after by providing a key.
