- Tyrone (10/5): Peaceful - Location and the room. Lovely and peaceful .

- gem (8/5): I had a calming and restorative stay, the peaceful atmosphere and wellness focus made it a worthwhile and refreshing exp - I had such a beautiful and relaxing stay at this yoga centre. The highlight for me was definitely the magnesium pool — it was incredibly soothing and left me feeling completely refreshed. The sauna was another favourite; clean, calming, and the perfect way to unwind after a yoga session.
The yoga classes were grounding and thoughtfully guided, suitable for all levels. The whole atmosphere of the retreat is peaceful and nurturing, making it easy to fully switch off and recharge.
If you’re looking for a place to relax, reset, and take care of yourself, I highly recommend staying here. I’ll definitely be back! The compost toilet was something I’m not used to. I completely understand and respect the eco-conscious approach, but it did take a little adjustment on a personal comfort level.
The room also had a slightly old, dusty smell when I first arrived. It wasn’t a major issue, just something I noticed initially.
Overall, it’s clear the retreat is focused on sustainability and simplicity, which many guests will truly value. For me, a few small comforts would have made the stay even better. Still, it’s a peaceful place for those wanting to disconnect and embrace a more natural setting.

- Edward (8/5): - Very chill and friendly place, clean but basic facilities, yoga and retreats, delicious vegan food, beautiful pool. Bed could have been more comfy, coffee could have been better (but neither were terrible)
- Julie (9/5): Great experience…. Booked in for yoga and workshops… loved it!! - Beautiful vegetation food and lovely magnesium pool

- Honi (6/5): Ambience was ruined by booming music from backpackers next door. - The food overall was ok for vegans. The yoga program and instructors were great. I liked how we could come and go as we pleased. The pool and surrounds are beautiful. Major .problem was the constant loud music from the Art Factory Backpackets next door. It was incessant and really ruined the calm peaceful vibe expected at yoga retreat. I couldn't stay for dinners as I needed a break from the constant doof-doof music from noon til midnight. I hope they can address this major issue.

- Gerrit (9/5): Really great sanctuary to get away from the noise. Good value! - Breakfast and whole retreat center is quite nice. The mattress and pillows were a little too soft for my liking. The staff are super friendly . Pool is great!
- Kevin (8/5): Comfortable - My room was comfortable and the shower was good. There was plenty of parking. The staff were all very pleasant. The compost toilets take a lot of getting used to, but there are plenty of eateries and bars in town if a more conventional toilet is to your liking. Also, one night there was a loud party at the hostel next door.
- Katie (4/5): It was just OK - - we liked how close and accessible it was
- loved how peaceful it was - our bedroom unfortunately was dusty, our bed was two single beds pushed together that moved constantly apart in our sleep. For the price we expected at least a double bed as chosen.
- walls were VERY thin, can hear all conversations from other rooms, really did struggle to sleep!
- unfortunately, we wasn’t greeted very kindly by a male member of staff. He came across very rude, cold and belittling. It honestly made me uncomfortable around the retreat and did effect our short stay. Some kindness and a smile really goes a long way :)
- Natalie (6/5): -
- Maria Camila (8/5): - Que es un lugar tranquilo y silencioso Es un poco lejos de las playas y el centro para personas sin carro
- Eva (10/5): Relaxing and great food - Great atmosphere and vibe. Loved the food and the mineral pool. The location makes it a bit secluded which is cozy for a yoga centre, but it is still close enough to walk into Byron Bay.

- laurence (8/5): Very good choice for a peaceful accommodation in Byron Bay - Very lovely accommodation when visiting Byron Bay
- Shu-Fen (7/5): - the nature enviroment. the solar heated mineral pool. the Yoga practice none

- ChloeD98 (7/5): - Very calm place, nice pool, cute room No appliances available to prepare our own food (toaster, microwave), trouble with noise (we could hear music from a neighbouring hostel and also our neighbours during the night)
- Johann (9/5): Rest and destress at Byron Bay Yoga Center - Although our stay was short, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Byron Yoga Centre. From the warm welcome by John the owner, to the beautiful grounds and calm and peaceful atmosphere, it was a true pleasure to spend some time here. I loved the pool and the yoga classes as well. It was a real opportunity to rest and destress.
- Pamela (7/5): Relaxing calm and beautiful place. - Beautiful environment. Great pool. Calm and relaxing and communal. Expected more yoga options. Distance from town difficult at night but easy to take uber.

- Barbara (10/5): Perfektes Yoga-Retreat! - Sehr feines vegetarisches Essen, alles frisch. Aufgestelltes Personal und super Qualität des Yoga 🧘
- Sheryl (8/5): Calm, friendly, chill 😎 - The breakfast was delicious - a choice of tasty and healthy vegetarian dishes 😋
- Jane (7/5): - Staff were all amazing Not within control of the property, but excessive noise from a neighbouring venue ruined the ambience I was hoping for during my stay.
- Rose Wren (10/5): Beautiful work . Incredible space. - I had a restful, peaceful retreat for 3 days. A self curated daily plan which was catered for very smoothly with ease and good communication.
I would certainly love to return for a longer retreat in future.
My room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. Earplugs are useful if noisy night time swamp symphonies keep you awake at night!
All the natural surroundings are very humbling and the food was nourishing and fresh.
The pool is such an asset and the sauna too! My only difficulty, although beautiful, were the night time trips to the bathroom ... something to consider when booking. I believe they do have some ensuite rooms available.
They were spotless I should add, extremely well maintained and the composting element a real bonus. Flushing is overrated 😂
- Michal (7/5): If you belong to yoga community - go there, otherwise - skip. - Friendly people. Toilets
- Cornelia (10/5): Yoga rejuvenation perfection. - The peace & kindness from staff. Ability to opt into activities perfect for a tired teacher who wants nothing else other than zero schedules so glad did try morning yoga for $20 was amazing. Also loved the vegetarian breakfasts & dinners & ensuite room. Oh nearly forgot, the HUGE pool all to myself at times = pure bliss! Road back to town a bit isolated &narrow with tall grass (thinking snakes!) so grabbed Uber all good only $10 each way:)

- Emilia (10/5): A beautiful oasis with great yoga classes, yummy food and comfy room! - Quiet location but walking distance. So many birds!
- Julie (7/5): Comfortable - The price and the room The smell of the compost toilet
- Robin (10/5): -
- Orla (10/5): Really special place in a quiet part of Byron Bay - The staff at this place are exceptionally welcoming and being a yoga school, you can easily find the right balance of socialisation and alone time. The room was lovely and had everything you'd need, the location is about a 15-20 minute walk from town so you need a torch at night but that means it's very quiet and settled. Everything was great for me - there are cats and dogs so if you don't like animals it might not be the place for you but they're very well behaved and don't bother guests
- Kayla (9/5): Superb - Peaceful and tranquil with amazing souls. Sadly, you can still hear the music pumping from the lion arts factory hostel next door.
- Stephens (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent facilities and you could choose your own yoga journey, from either a morning yoga class, to a half, full day or 5 and 7 day retreat.
- Maryellen (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely peaceful simple relaxing and comfortable, connected with the natural world. The food was delicious. Nothing, but if you want luxury or don’t appreciate quiet it may not be for you.
- Fisk-mccubbin (7/5): Lovely quiet introspection environment - Great maybe visit have been a double bed instead of 2 singles pushed together
- Dean (7/5): Good -
- Justine (10/5): Exceptional - The owner John was the kindest and most accommodating host. He provided me with options to help me make the most of my last days in Australia before a long international flight.
- Ryan (9/5): Superb -

- Killian (9/5): Superb -
- Cory (10/5): Exceptional - Vegan food is so great Mosquitoes
- Karen (10/5): Does what it says on the tin 🧘 - Peaceful, basic , perfect 🙏🏻
- Courtney (9/5): Awesome! Loved the pool an staff were great - It was incredibly beautiful and open. The swimming pool was so clean and actually warm! The staff were all very welcoming and made me feel like I had been living there for a year. It’s about a 20 minute walk out of town. Not a huge problem but easier if you have a bike or car. They do have bike’s for rent which I used and was great!
- Andrey (10/5): Very happy with our stay - Pool

- Kate (10/5): Relaxing yoga break - A lovely place to stay for a relaxing break. Room simple with comfortable bed and all very clean.
I very much enjoyed using the pool. Also joined two morning yoga classes, both excellent.
Very good breakfast and dinner.
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- William (9/5): Superb -
- Subhodeep (9/5): Wonderful peaceful stay right next to Byron town. - Very homely and peaceful. Surrounded by nature. Close to Byron, yet surrounded by greenery. Nice swimming pool and facilities. Lovely food served for breakfast, Lunch and dinner.
Andrei, Harriet, Johanna and all the other hosts and residents were super welcoming. Nothing
- Mandy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julse (10/5): Beautiful spot - Beautiful pool and surrounds. Everyone was super friendly, meals were delicious and staff were helpful and friendly.
- Freda (6/5): Yoga centre for solo traveller - I stayed 2 nights - I could walk into town in around 15 minutes. The staff were very friendly and the yogis who were training were very friendly. The pool area was nice and the place was set in the middle of lovely countryside. The owner gave me a lift when I arrived at bus station and explained everything to me - which was nice. I knew it was a yoga centre but the room was more basic than others I have been to - there was no hairdryer and furniture was dated. I was also hoping as it was a yoga centre that I could go to yoga sessions at least 3 times a day - but there was only two available - early morning and 4pm..
- Trixie (7/5): This is a very good place for relaxing if you won't mind what I didn't like. - the whole property was amazing. I've expected a room with a very good view but the one I got was alright. Their foods were very interesting. This is very good for those who's into wellness and retreats. The drop toilet. Almost all of the motels and inns in Australia does not have bidet in their toilets and I can say that it's still tolerable. But this in another level. I am just utterly shocked about this as I have never expected it. The purpose is good though and I can support that. But it's just not for me if I were to book a room during holidays as it's a bit odd and felt uncomfortable.
- Kate (8/5): Very good -
- Sara (7/5): Good - Good peaceful location, within walking distance to the centre or Byron or you can hire bikes. Staff were very friendly. They grow all their own organic fruit and vegetables on site, with breakfast included. The Epsom salt swimming pool was lovely!! The bed wasn’t very firm!
- James (10/5): Very peaceful inclusive environment with comfortable ammenities for all even if not yoga guests - Very friendly staff and people. Felt very peaceful community. N/A
- Priscila (10/5): Peaceful stay surrounded by beautiful nature - We stayed at Byron Yoga Centre for 6 nights and loved every moment. The location is so peaceful and surrounded by nature, but still close to town- centre and the beaches. We didn’t join a retreat, but they offered daily yoga classes at their studio in town, which was great. The food was fresh, local and delicious, and the staff were so warm and welcoming. It’s such a special place, we’ll definitely be back.
- Steve (8/5): Centering and awakening after a busy week of travel. - Very tranquil energy and powerful sense of place.
Loved the gardens and the pool. Was thinking there would be more yoga classes offered.
- Sam (10/5): Peaceful with beautiful people - An amazing little community. The centre is a truely special place. I felt automatically relaxed and happy once I arrived. Everyone is very kind and friendly. Nothing
- Liz (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maria (10/5): Beautiful calm place a little ouside of Byron. You arrive and you start relaxing immediately. The staff is great and is - Calm ambience
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Nice quiet location, very close to main town. Air Con was preset and not able to be adjusted.
